I have been very disappointed with my experience, and I have never met a groomer that I have had a bad experience with. My dog was either not bathed or bathed so poorly that he had dried poop and weeds in his fur at pickup. He was panting profusely when we got in the car. His harness was secured improperly after staff had been informed that he wears a special harness because he is able to escape harnesses. In addition, he was sent home without his collar which identifies him if he were to have slipped his harness, which easily could have happened because it was barely on. His haircut was extremely uneven. The only accommodation for all of these issues that was offered is an “additional” bath.

I took my client's little poodle to get groomed. My client has a very specific request for him, wanted poodle cut with leaving his eyebrows to grow and cutting the length of his ear hair off so his ears don't drag in his wet foods. My client absolutely loved it and it was exactly what she had wanted. It was easy for me to call and set up, walked right in, explained how we wanted it, they called us when he was ready, and they were patient with us picking him up a few minutes shy of their closing.I would highly recommend :)

Very easy drop off and pick up. Staff was friendly. Groomer did a great job. Pricing is higher than pet smart and petco stores, but I am fine with it for ease of location and knowing my my dog is being well taken care of. Last time I was in petsmart I saw a groomer yelling at the dog, so I looked elsewhere and these guys put us at ease. They weighed him before and after and he last 5lbs of hair!!! They included a cute bandana on him for the holiday. Thanks!

First time grooming and haircut experience for my large, furry 10 year old kitty. I hesitated for years as I did not want to traumatize him. My notion was incorrect. When I picked him up, he was calm, and happy and the feedback was he had been very good and enjoyed the personal interaction. He looked great, and seemed comfortable and proud of his new look. A cat seems proud of his appearance? Yes, indeed. His long hair had gotten out of hand. It was everywhere and on everything and he and I could not keep up with grooming, furball’s, etc. It was a good idea, a great first experience, and I will return.

I was super excited to take my cat to get groomed here, wary about what would happen because well, he is a cat. The drop off time was 11 am and I was told he'd be there for 3 hours. That alone was odd to me because it should not take 3 hours to groom an animal. I understand he's a cat but we had an appointment which leads me to believe they groom animals one by one, no? Not just letting them sit in the back or something until they're ready. I get a very direct and rude call two and a half hours later at 1:30 saying they couldn't finish grooming him because he was biting. I go to pick him up and all they did was a nail trim. It took TWO and a half hours for a nail trim. No bath, no brushing, nothing. I understand it taking a bit longer, as he is a temperamental cat, but two hours? Poor thing was surely upset he was sitting there, probably in his carrier, for two and a half hours. I appreciate the effort, but a call throughout the process or an update would have been nice. Not to mention there wasn't an ounce of empathy or compassion for my animal from the women at the front desk.

After weeks of contacting other groomers with no response, I finally found Pro-Groom and they responded almost immediately! It was a few weeks out for an appointment for my cat but absolutely worth it. My cat is getting up in age and no longer grooming herself which led to mats. She doesn't let me brush her for long so we needed a shave. They did an amazing job, other than the bald spots from the severe mats (not Pro-Groom fault) Pepe looked amazing! I was so impressed, I pre-scheduled our next appointment a few months out. Pepe will be continuing to get her bath and brush to prevent from having any mats. I'm so grateful for Pro-Groom!

Was able to get a walk in appt to trim my cat's nails, only asked me to call first to let them know I was on my way. They were gentle with my cat (she's a very sweet, placid cat) and were finished quickly because she is so compliant. Rates were reasonable and I will definitely take her there again.

I don’t always find great reviews lead to great businesses, but Pro-Groom was a real success for us. The staff was very professional and courteous to our two Collie girls. The prices are reasonable, but the quality of grooming was exceptional.Nail trimming was great, but these groomers did a great job on our dogs last Friday!If you are as concerned about your dogs as we are, I’m sure Pro-Groom will be the right place for you.

Very fast, excellent service and great prices. I highly recommend this groomer. I called so many places and they either couldn't get me in for a month or wouldn't take care of my dog's mats. I found pro groom and called, they said they could see him right away. He was in there 5 minutes tops and had his nails cut and mats removed. I couldn't be happier with my experience. We will go here every time now.

Called before bringing my dog in and was told the cost would be $50.00 plus $20.00 because my dog was sprayed by a skunk. I go to pick up my dog and was told it was $100.00 plus a tip. I told the owner that I agreed to pay $70.00 and she told me to insert my card. She tried to sneak and charge me $30.00 more than what I was told it would cost. I quickly removed my card and asked why she was charging me more than what I agreed to pay. Then she said she was going to call all the pet grooming places around to tell on me. So first you’re sneaky with my card payment, then you’re going to call and tell on me? Sally don’t worry, I won’t come back.

I absolutely hated the experience I had at this pet grooming place. I’m new to town and tried a new groomer. Tammi did a terrible job grooming my dog and he had nicks and pink marks all over his body. I could hear him squeaking several times. She was forceful with him. The girl before me complained too bc her small dog was shaking when the owner came to pick her up. No one should feel safe leaving their dog with her. I paid $80 for a tiny 6lb yorkie. What a scam. This lady needs a new profession.

Got my dog's nails trimmed I was a walk in and was in and out in less than 20 minutes. I have a German Shepherd and was happy with how her nails looked after. I'll be going back!Also...There was a line of people picking up their dogs and everyone seemed really happy with their service from what I could see and hear as a bystander.

This is perhaps the best grooming salon my English Cocker and I have been to! From start to finish, the quality was evident -- from the phone skills of the woman setting up the appointment for us, to the cleanliness and quietness of the salon, and, of course, the actual finished product -- my beautifully groomed and happy nine-year old spaniel. Whitney did a fabulous job on Henry's coat and nails and they were done right on time (3 hours total). I really was so pleased that each of the three times I was in the shop, the dogs were quiet and the groomers were calmly working away. A lovely experience and a great price. Thank you! We'll definitely be back!

I have been taking my dog there for 6 or 7 years. The shop is always clean and very professional. My dog is a Chow and can get testy, but he loves the groomers and they love him. He always looks beautiful when he's finished and he stays looking good for quite some time. I highly recommend them.

I was a walk in and it was my Miniature Poodles first hair cut. She went in looking like a minnie grizzly bear and came out looking like a real poodle. They did all the proper things for a poodle. Bella got her ears cleaned out, close on the face, shaved on the feet and in between the toes, and cleaned up around her private areas, oh and they trimmed and filed her nails. These are all big things to anyone who has ever owned a poodle. Our Bella was such a brat that the groomer accommodated her and hand trimmed her body. That was so great. Going back in about 4 weeks so that Bella can get a kennel clip. Hopefully she will be used to the shaver by then and not be such a pain for the groomer Beck. She really cared about the temperament of our puppy and addressed all our concerns. Definitely going back. It only cost $35 for the puppy clip. Beck told us that every Tuesday they run a special where it is a clean dry and nail trim for $20. Sweet! Thanks Beck and Pro-Groom. See ya soon!

I have been taking my Bichon Frise there every 2 weeks for about 5 years. He loves his groomer, Tami. When the door opens he goes right to her. Pro-Groom is the only place I take my mini soft wirehair dachshund. They are gentle with her, never leave her alone on the table and do a beautiful job of cleaning and grooming her. She used to be scared to go to the groomers, but when I take her to Pro-Groom, she doesn't back away anymore.I drive all the way from Folsom because I took my dog to a local groomer and she came back with an injured shoulder. I never have to worry about her safety at Pro-Groom -- they love animals! And they're professional.

My dog is an eighty-something pound german shepherd and if you get near her feet you better be ready to fight to the death. I always bring her here to get her nails clipped as they have a team that knows how to handle a dog who gets a bit upset when it comes to nail clipping. Highly recommended!
