I went to Ben's Barketplace in search of a healthier dog food option after spending hours of research trying to figure it out on my own. Sally came to my rescue and offered her suggestions. I was sent home with a FREE sample of raw dog food to last a few days so my Emmy girl could try it before I made the big investment. Sally kindly wrote out instructions for me. I will give my dog the sample of food today, and if she eats it, I will return to purchase the full-size pack of food. I can't thank Sally enough for coming to my rescue. Because of the above and beyond customer service, I will be a loyal customer of Ben's Barketplace!

I drive from Folsom because I have always had positive experiences with the staff and they’re one of the few pet food stores that carry Northwest Natural raw frozen dog food. It’s the best! My 11 year old German Shepherd/ Belgian Malinois still runs and hikes like a puppy!

The staff is so nice and so helpful here! I also love that they offer the dental cleaning services periodically. I was quoted $2000 from my vet and they got my dogs teeth sparkling white for $249!Great selection of dog food and toys! I’m officially becoming a regular.

Awesome pet food store with loads of options to choose from. If you can’t decide what you need or want, the owners and employees are always extremely helpful & knowledgeable. I used to buy dry food for my dog but got educated with the many benefits of what a Raw diet could provide. I made the switch and am never going back to dry food. My dog is a lot happier and healthier, it’s amazing what a good quality diet and some support from a great team can do. Can’t recommend Ben’s Barketplace enough, thank you Brad & Sally.

Brad and Sally are amazing! Knowledgeable and kind. I love shopping at Ben's cause I know I am going to have an incredible experience whether I shop in person or online! They offer an awesome selection of clean and healthy pet foods and supplements. The other really rad thing is they offer free delivery for any online order over $50, which I used and was surprised to find Brad and Sally hand delivering my order! Great store and great people!

Sally & Brad (Owners) along with all the staff have been super helpful and extremely knowledgeable when it comes to what’s best for my cute little French Bulldog Diesel. I use to feed Diesel food from those online food delivery places and also the big box pet food stores.Diesel never liked the food from those places. He use to itch all the time from the food.Since discovering Ben’s Barketplace a few years back, Brad & Sally and the staff has educated me on the health benefits of switching to a raw food diet. Diesel is now on a raw food diet and happier and healthier than ever! I highly recommend SmallBatch raw food for your dog. Your Dog will thank you and will live a lot longer.

Ben's Barketplace is great. The staff's knowledge and consideration of our dog dietary needs was impressive. Like talking to a holistic nutritionist, you can see the passion they have for proper pet nutrition. We used to have to order from Chewy or other online sites, but Ben's has all the specialty brands we are looking for without our bags of pet food being left out in the rain.

Good service, friendly staff and great deals. I feed my dog raw dog food and they have wonderful discounts for purchases over certain amounts and wjen you buy a certain amount of different brands you can get one free. They have a point system also so, I'm constantly getting $'s off my purchase on top of my discounts. You just can't beat that. I do recommend that you remind the new staff to remember the discounts, it can be confusing for them but they take it in stride, just be kind. They also will deliver your supplies, I like to go get mine because Poke Town is next door and I treat myself to lunch there once a month, but I have used there delivery service once and they did not disappoint!

I never leave reviews however, after coming here, I feel compelled to. I went into the store early yesterday morning distraught, my dog had been sick for two months and $3500 later with x-rays and an ultrasound, the vet could still not figure out what was wrong with her. Ben gave me dog food to try and promised me it would work. A day and a half later, my dog is significantly better. She slept through the night, whereas we usually go to the bathroom every hour, and I no longer hear lots of crazy sounds going on in her stomach. I cannot say thank you enough. It seems they truly care about dogs and helping them get better and be healthy rather than racking up a large bill like at the vets

Walked in to check the place out. The lady at the register gave me a sample of raw food to take home. Our dogs never seemed so health and active. I went back and bought a bag of raw food. Our puppy stopped peeing in the house and our other two dogs have been more active. This is all due to the helpful staff and ownership at Ben's Barketplace. Everything there is healthy and good for your dog. It's nice to have a pet food store that makes buying dogs food and treats so easy. We used to spend hours at other pet stores reading labels and trying to determine which food was good for our dogs. Thank you staff and ownership at Ben's Barketplace!

The employees are kind and polite. The dog food I get is fresh. They seem to run out of our favorite flavor. Beef. So I know it's not sitting around. I've had to wait on new deliveries. They offer rewards for shopping here with my phone number. I wish they had another store here in Grass Valley.

We have been going to Ben's for about 7-8 years for mainly our dogs' food. The owners are very knowledgeable about all of the best foods available and will provide advice if needed. They have many varieties and brands of raw food also which we have purchased occasionally. In addition to foods, they also have many treatment options for upset stomachs and CBD oils and treats. On one of my recent visits, the owner asked if he could give our German Shepherd a treat since he was in the car waiting for me. He loved it. Great store and great people!

I've been coming to this place since I first adopted my Minnie my happy and beloved rescue Pit from 2127 Front Street at under a year old. Great stuff here! Nothing they sell here is bad. Everything they put on their shelf is to their standard of Quality of Ingredients, wide selection of foods and treats, etc has sold me to never buy food for my fur companion anywhere else ever again. No Exceptions. The knowledge, experience, friendliness, wisdom and expertise in the field is UNMATCHED. Earned my continued business and support 100% for life. Go Raw! Great environment and very amicable staff. They are ready to answer any question about your fluffy buddy with a smile on their face and care in their hearts. They offer affordable, and most importantly healthy food for your dog without any of the preservatives or carbohydrates that are often found in kibble brands. Everytime that I go in I have an exceptional experience. Each person that I've worked with has been extremely knowledgeable and able to answer every question I have and make excellent suggestions. There are 2 ladies who always help me, I know one's name is Christina and I can't recall the other's. They educate and even provide samples if necessary. They found a food that my rottweiler loves. Today I went in and was blown away by both James and Christina. James was super knowledgeable and thorough and helped me select a better food for one of my dogs and educated me on teeth cleansing bones. Without his suggestions I would have purchased the wrong bone. I ended up leaving a bone on the counter and got a phone call tonight from Christina who let me know and put it aside for me. I love this place!

The team at Ben’s Batketplace is always so friendly and try to do anything possible to help me with what I need. Ever since I moved to Rocklin, I have bought my dog food there and leave satisfied every time. They know a lot about the different products, have a great selection of high quality food, toys, treats, and more, and their prices are actually better than at other places around! If they are out of the dog food I need, they have it delivered from a different location the same or next day. Amazing customer service!

Ben's have a great selection of cat and dog foods. Great friendly service. Quick and easy checkout. Has a instore rewards program for frequent customers, and have 5 star rewards as well. This store is small, and doesn't carry pet toys, or accessories. Store is a bit pricey, but has quality foods for your pet. Dry, canned, and I believe there are also refrigerated foods . Also it carries dog treats and all types of chewables for gum, and teeth health.

Love this place!!I put both of my little dogs on the raw meals and they love it. I really appreciate that when I run out of food, the owners are so flexible and have gone out of their way to deliver my order so that I didn't have to try to take off to run over and buy some. The delivery service is a bonus in my book! The owners and staff are always so friendly and knowledgeable.I wouldn't go any place else and highly recommend them to anyone!
