You can't find more knowledgeable and educated people than Chris and Staci. Honestly, they have helped me so much with food information for my dogs over the years. And health issues that could be food related. Their supply is huge even though the store is a bit small. Prices are excellent PLUS shopping locally and doing business with a smaller family owned store is rewarding on so many levels. Will never shop anywhere else.

We love coming here! They always have the best priced products, and also are the most friendliest, and warming people! The owners are just amazing and make you feel like family! They always answer any questions we have, (which used to be a lot LOL)We hated having to go else where during the holidays! But If you want to support a fantastic small family owned business this is your place! They are just incredible! 10/10 ALWAYS RECOMMEND them to any one! LOVE LOVE THEM! Been a customer for about 3 years now and we are never changing! They also carry the best food, treats, etc for your babies! They also have an amazing inventory and if they do not carry it they are always open to look into ordering for you! You gotta check them out trust me, you'll thank me later :)Our babies love every time we go there because they get all kinds of lil treaties, and forgot to mention we always leave with a lil goodie bag of samples which our babies love <3 :)

I have 2 elderly chi's & they are both dramatic about getting their nails done. For nearly the past month I've been taking my eldest & fiestiest weekly to help get her quicks shorter. Roxy has taken care of us each time & even when my eldest tries to bite she's so kind & sweet about it! I've loved ANC for years now but Roxy has solidified that we won't go anywhere else!

Excellent grooming staff member is Kelsey. She always makes our dog, who has a long, fluffy coat, seem so much better. I appreciate that they offer nail care and a dandruff wash for dogs who require it. I always tell people that need it to go here. In particular, Kelsey is wonderful with animals and provides excellent care for them.

Super helpful and kind, knowledgeable staff. They get everyone isn’t incredibly wealthy and can’t feed the most expensive food and help you to figure out a plan for you and your pup that is still highly nutritious but also recommend speaking with your vet on your specific pups needs. All of the food they carry is high quality ingredients. I’d recommend to everyone and already have.

I had a horrible experience at this location. The gentleman made me feel like I wasn't doing job with my puppy. He told me that my puppy had behavioral instead of taking the time to listen to me. I was going in there to get a recommendation on a produc and instead got a horrible customer service. I do recommend instead for fur parents to go to Ben's barketmarket 7935 Greenback Ln, Citrus Heights, CA 95610. They have amazing customer service. Try it out!

Kelsey in the grooming area is fantastic. Our dog has a long, fluffy sort of coat and he always looks so much better after seeing her. Love that they take care of nails and have a dandruff shampoo for pups that need it. I always recommend this place to anyone who needs it. Kelsey especially has a great way with animals and takes brilliant care of them.

Theo is a great groomer. He has the patience of a saint. We have 2 dogs that have visited him twice and each time I have been more than pleased.The store offers food, toys, pet supplies etc... but the extra attention to personal situations by the staff is what sets this store above the rest.Highly recommended.

This is, from what I saw, one of the few shops that meets the expectations set by such a straightforward name.We went by here and were met with a gentleman who was exceptionally helpful, very friendly, and seemed well versed in the materials he sold. He offered us samples on products that he seemed to know would interest us, and he really seemed invested in not only his industry but his customer base. If he was only a bit closer, I would give him all of my pet related business. I recommend this shop, and I almost feel sad that I realistically won't be able to go the extra distance to come back half as often as I should.TL;DR Great selection, decent variety, and entirely reasonable prices! Delivered to us by a cordial owner!

This grooming place is horrible after what they did to a clients dog and not taking any responsibility for what happened. so disgraceful. imagine you’re dog coming home with an expensive horrible painful injury. poor baby. the whites of his eye were bloodshot red and was liquified. absolutely unacceptable. the vet said it was a forced trauma :(

Happy cat, though Maine Coon, has a little mean streak every so often. Not here! You'd think he was the most mild mannered cat in the world. He gets his claws clipped and his tummy shaved for summer as well as any other mats to be found if needed for a very reasonable price. They do a fabulous job, making for a very 'Happy' customer!

Our little Chihuahua/Rat Terrier becomes a Tasmanian Devil when he gets his nails trimmed. We were taking him to his Vet who had to put him under anesthesia just to trim his nails. Ann at Animal Nutition & Grooming is able to calm our dog and get the job done - and she said he gets easier each time. I cannot adequately express how much we appreciate Ann!

We have been going to ANC since 1985. Our fur babies love Ann our groomer, they look forward to seeing Auntie Ann when we tell them where they are going. There is a large variety of dog/cat food and Sandy the owner will help if you have any questions. Take a visit and see for yourself.
