I call to check the status of prescription and they said about an hour. Then 2 hours later I go there and they said another 30 mins. Which was fine. I'm sure it's busy this time of year. I drive the 2 mins home and get the call that the prescription was ready. I drive back and wait in the drive thru just for the lady working to be unnecessarily rude. I was polite the whole time but that lady needs to learn to do the same.

Ladies that work here are super rude, I was told to come back with my insurance to get my prescription, i get my insurance card and come back the next to give them my insurance to which they say I don’t have any prescription. These people suck just get your prescription sent somewhere else.

There could be only one person in front of you, and you're still going to spend 20 minutes there. Took one patient 10 minutes to pay for omeprazole, then was told to wait again so the clerk could service the drive through. Why don't you guys staff your pharmacy so there's more than one person helping customers? I left. Need to find a new pharmacy.

Pharmacy is inadequate I have never had so much trouble getting a prescription filled I chose this pharmacy because it’s closer to my home I wish I didn’t I been calling all week to get it filled first it wasn’t in stock then it was in stock but then the problem was missing a diagnosis code then got code told me give a couple hours it be ready called back they said they didn’t have anything then said oh they found it give a minute pharmacist was at lunch then I called again after 2 hours now it’s not in stock again and probably won’t be available until Monday never in my life dealt with so much problem and I know how system works I work in healthcare I’m going to complain to whoever I need to and report it this is unacceptable

If you are going to the drive thru pharmacy you better bring a pillow, blanket and some snacks because you will be waiting for at least 30 mins to even get to the window if someone is in front of you, another 15 mins to even be helped and than another 30 mins to get your prescription. With all the reviews regarding this issue and is still not fixed just shows they really don't care. Just don't go here.

The pharmacist took 30 minutes to take care of 2 people in the drive thru. Then proceeded to cut me off when I was trying to give the information. Just an overall rude and unpleasant experience. Will not be coming here again solely for that woman.

Probably the rudest people I've ever seen working in the pharmacy. Kept telling me different time frames every 30 min until I gave up and left. No offer for a call back or text or anything. If you hate your job that much then quit!

I had a time sensitive situation and the pharmacy clerk was closed to helping me she just repeated riteaide policy in a robotic tone. I went to CVS and they reviewed my problem and called kaiser. Within the hour I had 6 pills for my wifes surgery tomorrow 7am.Riteaide deals with life and death. I dont trust them with my needs.

The one time I bite the bullet because I'm about to run out of my medication and go to this pharmacy, they don't have it. I've heard the pharmacy here was awful but I really didn't anticipate them NOT HAVING THE MEDICATION. The people working there also seem to hate it, as they always seem tired or aggravated. The atmosphere in this store feels like I'm being slowly drained of oxygen. As a lot of people in the reviews seems to agree, you basically HAVE to go to Lancaster for decent service. I'm reading through the replies to these reviews and they the most cookie-cutter corporate pleading responses I've seen on Google Reviews. I'd rather take the bus to the CVS in Lancaster then go to this Rite Aid, which I'm gonna do since this "pharmacy" can't even do what it's supposed to. Do better.

The worst customer service by the girl in the Pharmacy on 1.18.23 at 855 am. Asked where I go to get my COVID testing done she responded with we dont do that here you have to go to LancasterMy reply. What is the address.Her reply Come back in 15 mins and I ll give it to you.My reply. What street is it on.Her reply. Walked away very rude rolling her eyes.The gentleman in the Pharmacy at the same time shared the address for me. Lancaster Ave J3 words is all it took.Losing your job over three simple words.To the girl at the Pharmacy you should check yourself there are a lot of hungry people in this world that would love to be working today to support their family. You are not entitled you should be fired for your actions............

Important to note: this review is for rite aid pharmacy only. I’ve have nothing but wonderful experiences with the other rite aid employees outside of the pharmacy.Rite Aid pharmacy opens at 9:00 on Saturdays. I was in the drive thru at that time with 1 person ahead of me. After watching that person ring the call button multiple times with no response, she left and I pulled forward. I pushed the call button, no response. I knocked on the window thinking maybe the button was broken. No response. I could see people inside so I decided to park and go in the building. There was 1 person in line but the screen gate was still down. At this point it was 9:12am. Soon after, the gate opened, and a technician and pharmacist could be seen inside. Neither person acknowledged either the lady in front of me or myself. I waited until 9:17 before leaving. Now, I understand that sometimes things happen, things are busy. Working in the retail industry myself, I get it. But the customer service to not let us know they’d be with us momentarily or thank us for our patience is rude. It was like we weren’t even there even though they looked straight at us. The sign on the door of rite aid and online both say the pharmacy is open at 9:00am. I specifically looked for different signage because I get with covid, things might change but there was nothing. I am moving my prescriptions to a new pharmacy because even though the location is closer to my house, the act of picking up prescriptions is anything but convenient.

The Rosamond location has a very bad customer service. The lady at the pharmacy who checked me in was very rude. I had to wait 50 mins. inorder to have my dose done on top of having a scheduled appointment.

The Rosamond location has horrible customer service in the pharmacy area. Both cashiers working are unprofessional and rude. They make errors and then blame customer. They expect you to wait in a long line a 2nd time, after they make a billing error.

My review is solely about Rite Aid pharmacy, as I truly like the rest of the store. However, I moved my prescriptions to Rosecare pharmacy due to wait times in both the drive thru and inside. I recently had an emergency script that was after hours for Rosecare, so I have it called into Rite Aid pharmacy, thinking I would get it that night. First, no call that night. Then I go to sleep, wake up, no call after opening still. Things happen I am understanding, I call, and the lady I spoke with was rude. When I asked why I didn't get a call, she reponds with "not sure why no one called, but it's ready now, you can come get it" and hangs up on me. I sent someone to get my prescription, as I am now at work by this time, and they tell him there's a high co-pay. Rite Aid wasn't trying to explain why or offer any assistance. I at this point, tell him to leave the medicine, and I called Rosecare to transfer. Rosecare pharmacy then had my medicine within a hour, no co-pay, and delivered. Not sure what the difference is, but this will be the last time I bring my business to Rite Aid Pharmacy after-hours or not.

Rude pharmacist! Trying to get my prescription ready to pick it up and they did not have the curtesy of taking my insurance information over the phone, horrible costumer service, when i was giving my information they immediately cut me off and ask something else, giving my last name and then cut me off again to ask for some random code of insurance then they cut me off again! Request to ask with somebody else still RUDE! Get your prescriptions anywhere else people! Its not worth it! Don't waste time with them! I was wondering why they have 2.8 amazing starts ha! Yup great job people!

I went to pick up my prescription, and I noticed some coupons for hair products, it was only ONE cashier (blond lady) she had a line I decided to go and use the shelf check out register , I scanned my product and introduced the coupon, the card reader wasn't working, a red light was flashing, I was waiting for the cashier, I went to the other register and the same thing, both lights are flashing, finally the Cashier went and told me she'd help me a the regular register, I'm walking but she decided to call the LAST customer in line, I waited, she scanned the product, and told me.. The coupon didn't work.. I told her I scanned the coupon myself and it worked.. I got really upset and walked away.. 30 min. For that Horrible customer service 😔😔

Why don't I take my own advice.. I should have read reviews first and would have NEVER come to this Rite Aid pharmacy in Rosamond! I dropped off prescription for pain medication on Monday and I should have know when they said this is an out of town prescription and they needed further authorization there would be a problem. Can anyone explain why this Rite Aid said they had no info on me yet when I dropped off a prescription five months ago at a Rite Aid in Lancaster the first thing the pharmacist asked was do you still live in Rosamond and is your doctor the same. I hadn't lived in Rosamond for six years but they were able to pull up all my info, prior prescriptions and doctor info, the same doctor I have had for over ten years. When I had to go back same day because they kept my DRIVERS LICENSE, I should have picked my prescription as well and not gone back. THURSDAY, DAY FOUR PEOPLE and they claim they still need more info from my doctor. My doctors office filled out their form and yet they wanted more info. I don't know, is it an incompetent thing, a black thing or like most pharmacies now here in the AV a pick and choose who gets medication thing. Don't tell me you guys have not gone through it, especially out here in the AV. What I do know is back pain is no joke! I gave this Rosamond Rite Aid one star because I had to but understand I WILL NEVER STEP FOOT IN THIS ROSAMOND RITE AID AGAIN!!!

Came here to get percocet and an anti nausea medication to get me through a gallbladder attack after an ER visit and they took my prescription and only gave me the nausea medication. I immediately rang them again at the drive through and they took like 10 min to answer and were hesitant to believe me when I told them they did not give me all my medication. It was a huge inconvenience; they were rude and I don't understand why the window was blacked out. I spoke to like 3 different people and heard them doing small chat to each other while they kept me waiting like another 15 min or so. They acted like they forgot as I tried multiple times to get their attention.

If there was a 0 I'd generously give it absolutely HORRIBLE way to be TREATED. I was told by a pharmacy technician my son's insurance was terminated. To call insurance or pay out of pocket for medication he's been without for 7 days! I called a lancaster location and their pharmacist told me "I am currently active, I don't know what their issue was." I firmly believe there is a way to talk to people especially when you work in Healthcare. The worst customer service ever. My son is 7 years old. When I called back to speak to the manager the same technician hung up on me. I had to walk in to discuss this issue he did state it is a system issue that has been going on for 2 years and no one is addressing it. Soo attention ROSAMOND your and your loved ones health is irrelevant because it's not worth fixing. Enjoy the drive to lancaster if you want GREAT service and ACCURATE information. My child depends on this medication. How I was spoken to was extremely unprofessional and the pharmacy technician is completely too incompetent when it comes to speaking to the public. If you have family members that rely on medication don't waste your time with ROSAMOND RITE AID PHARMACY it's honestly better to drive all the way to Lancaster or Palmdale. Very disappointed in the way I was spoken to and treated never again!! Worse experience ever!! No one matters just their pay checks!!!

Their computer system has been "down" for months. The pharmacy clerk told me I have to call another pharmacy to have the prescriptions transferred, and drive all the way to that pharmacy 25 miles each way because their computer system is down. They don't know when it will be fixed. She said I have to call the other pharmacy vs the pharmacy offering to transfer the prescriptions. NOT COOL.

We got our second Phizer shot right now and are waiting the mandatory time so we can make sure we don't have adverse reactions. So far I think we're okay.Just wanted to say that this whole process of getting the vaccine out. My husband took a questionaire the night before about general health, and then we both got appointments for the first shot the very next day. So, we went to the Rite Aid here in Rosamond and the nurse took our IDs and insurance and we were on our way following the blue arrows taped to the floor that pointed the way to the vaccination area. We only had to wait 20some days for the second shot. And we signed up for the automated messages to be sent to our phones to tell us our vaccination appointment upcoming. And when I got their text I was able to click on a link that copied the info onto my phone's calendar! So super convenient! And both times we got shots, there was a friendly pharmacist that answered alot of questions even ones that I had that were totally irrelevant to the ongoing pandemic. I highly recommend y'all get your Covid shots ASAP. Check out Rite Aid here in Rosamond. You can just walk in, without needing an appointment.Thank y'all so much Rite Aid!

We love this Rite Aid location! The staff is friendly and helpful, they remember us when we walk in, our meds are always ready on time. The store is bright and always clean and straight. The new location is wonderful, easy in easy out...I will recommend to my family and friends.

The new pharmacists Richard and Steven are the worse I have ever dealt with and I was in the military 20yrs, the VA and military pharmacists are better. Been getting the same med for the last 6+ yrs and the same dosage for well over a year and today am told it has been rejected by my insurance. I called my insurance and they stated all the pharmacist had to do was call them to get the code for approval . It took me to do this for them. Even other workers at Rite Aid stayed alot of people are having a problem with Richard and Steven. If you can I would go somewhere else where you don't have to do their job for them

Absolutely worse pharmacy I have ever been to. Two times having to wait for medication for 4 hours while three pharmacy staff members are working. If it takes this long for myself and my son to get the medication we need I only wonder about others who have worse medical conditions. So sad people need to suffer due to poor pharmacy management. People are affected by this. Do they just not care? Very disappointing need to find a new pharmacy.

I went to the pharmacy to drop off a prescription, I had never been to this Rite Aid before but it was the closest one to me at the time so I decided why not. I get there and I hand my prescription to the pharmacy technician, and he asked me,"what is this prescription for"? And chuckled like he couldn't read it and he was all puzzled. Then he got my DOB wrong even though it's clearly written on the prescription paper. He proceeded to tell me It will take TWO hours to pick up since he was the only one there. I said okay. And went home. I get a call 20 minutes later. It was the pharmacists telling me my insurance was "terminated" I told him there's no way it would be because I JUST got the insurance and have used it other places within this same month. And then he told me he had my insurance card there! I've never had anyone keep my insurance card at a pharmacy! So I go back over there, get my prescription and my insurance card and go to a different pharmacy in Lancaster and have NO problems getting my medication... this guy clearly did not know what he was doing and caused me to waste my time and gas. I would not recommend this pharmacy at all if you have another choice.

Nice store but very slow. There is always a long line to check out. Also, do not drop off prescriptions at the drive-thru. I dropped mines off due to being in pain and was told it was going to be five hours before I can pick it up, since I went to the window. However, I experienced the same in the inside. I was told 3 hours, gave it 4 and was told it still wasn't ready. Oh and one more thing, don't ever bother calling, I called for 2 days and they never picked up.

I het messages stating that the prescription is ready but when I get hete, the whole order isn't ready. I have explained that I don't like the messages until the prescription is ready in full. Again today I find out after I get to the pharmacy that uts not ready and that the ONE pharmacist that can full the rx has to go to lunch and I have to wait. This is no professional and the pharmacist has been reported to the California State Board of Pharmacy. I hope this one looses his license or at the very least suspended
