Saw this place while driving to work. Stopped in and was pleasantly surprised. My son was with me and we really enjoyed looking at all the fish.. we bought a couple of Fancy guppies to add to the tank. I've already been back twice.

Amazing experience with the store .they have a large quantity of salt and fresh water fishes the big thing is they have lots of verity of fishes and the specially the owner and lady work there very nice they know what customer need very helpful. I been lots of aquarium in the bay area but the verity they have are amazing. Very big store.Prices are reasonable shoping experience was great highly recommended.

Under new ownership, and a knowledgeable team, Under the Sea Aquatics has become a Sonoma County landmark for all of your aquatic needs. My wife and I have been keeping fresh water tanks for over 15 years, and this team of friendly and knowledgeable people gave us the confidence to start our first salt water tank. Three months later we upgraded to a larger size tank and we couldn’t be happier. Shout out to Nick for getting our water perfectly situated, and to Ben for his advice on how to keep everything running smoothly. The owner is on site, present for customers’ needs and willing to go above and beyond to share his passion and encourage your hobby. Amazing store! Melissa was so helpful she ordered me my fish that I had been looking months for. The new owners Melissa and Nick are very personable and accommodating. They’re working everytime I come in. Ben and Eric are so knowledgeable. You can’t go wrong coming in the best store no matter who is there working they are all very knowledgeable. Fish and Coral are just amazing. Selena helped me with the whole store being at a corals farmers market this weekend. She acknowledged that she didn’t have much knowledge, but she was so helpful and calling the owners who were by the phone and ready to help with any questions in my opinion coming here for years. This is the first time that I would even write a review. Because I really had nothing great to say but now every week and I am so excited to visit my favorite store.Side note :I want to say how happy I am Thorin is gone. I would not come in the store for a very long time as he stole out of my home on a service call.But now that he’s gone I use under the sea once again for my service needs! Their service department is amazing my tank always looks great thanks Eric!

What a wonderful experience! I just went here for the first time today (12/14/21) because I was in the area and thought it would be fun to look at fish. I don’t often buy fish from pet stores but I came home with two beautiful, healthy fish today.They have a wonderful stock of gorgeous fish, both saltwater and freshwater, as well as some snails and shrimp. I have a freshwater tank so I wasn’t paying much attention to their coral selection. Will definitely be going back for some spider wood at a later date, though!Prices were wonderful, staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I was able to give my tank size, population, and temperature and the employee helping directed me to the fish that would do well in my aquarium parameters. I can’t say enough good about this place. So much fun!

Great place to start a new hobby, very knowledgeable and kind to answer any questions and concerns. They have lots of variety of fish from freshwater to saltwater and other plants and critters like frogs, shrimp, to small sharks. Would recommend a visit even if to just go look at the cool fish they have in their big tanks.

Here we sit waiting!I went to the store to discuss either purchasing a new tank for my new home or just moving my existing tank. We decided to go with moving my tank because there are no tanks like it available.I was given a quote and even discussed purchasing a new heater and possibly some more fish.We then scheduled the move.This day, today, I find myself sitting here waiting is the "move" day. I have called to be placed on hold to then be told that they would have to get back to me. Nothing yet. I'm still waiting!I then emailed whom I believe is the owner. No response. I called him and he pushed me directly to VM.And I am still waiting.I needed this thing moved today. I have sold the house and everything needs to be cleared.Under The Sea Aquatics (NICK), if you did not plan to do the job, why couldn't you just call me so that I could have found a different solution???I guess I now have to just sell the thing for a low price so that someone can just come get it out of here.This is the first unprofessional experiences that I have had this year! Lots of time wasted. Lots of energy wasted.This is what I received when dealing with Under The Sea Aquatics!I will not be using them, recommending them or doing business with them ever again. This has been a costly waste of energy and time and I am frustrated.Continued. I finally received a call from one of the employees around 11:20. He told me that they were on their way and that it would be around 1.5 hours. I asked why and he then said how about 20 minutes. While sitting and waiting with 20 minutes coming and going, I received a call from a woman at the store who started telling me off over a message. What? no apology? Why chew me out? You are the ones that are not here?So, I called back to then get an ear full. Now I am being told that I will be sued until I take this review down. And, still no apology.Somehow you have things mixed up. I am the customer. You have not been very nice to me and this is not good business. There is also an exaggeration in your response to this complaint and review. You said that you had been in contact with me for the last 1.5 hrs. Untrue! I was the one trying to hunt for you. Your responses did not occur until I posted reviews. Just to be clear.Just to be even clearer. YES! Yes I did argue back with the woman raising her voice to me over the phone. I didn't schedule an appointment with you for this. I just wanted a tank moved.Do better! You become what you practice and this was not what I would consider a good practice. I am highly disappointed with every one of these interactions. I wish things would have been what they should have been and that I could have sent over the awesome review that I wanted to send. But, this was so costly to me and so much time has been lost and then I have been threatened with a law suit. Everyone needs to know.No more waiting. It's past 12. The service person did not show. The office person said that they are not coming.Moving on...Unhappy customer.

UTS is really fantastic. I have bought fish all over sonoma county and nobody touches the service of the crew and ownership at UTS.If I have a question, I can call.If I want to overhaul an entire tank, get new livestock, and make sure my existing fishies find a great new home, UTS has me covered.When I wanted to install my discus tank, the owner went out of his way to make sure I got quality fish, and even called the same day to check in on the animals.That makes a difference.

Walking in was amazing. The fish and tanks are all well maintained and beautiful. We were instantly greeted and introduced by staff which is top notch in good customer service. Eric and Ben were knowledgeable, personable and above all patient with our questions and long winded decision process. We are excited about our new addition to our tanks and have found our perfect fish store. Good job guys

I'm a reef tank enthusiast and have been in the Sonoma County area for awhile. The shop closed in Cotati some time ago and Cesar's has been the only spot for quite some time now. I visited here with my my Pops and the staff was very nice, the store was really sharp and organized well, and the options plentiful. I saw a great selection of fresh/saltwater fish, corals, and even some sharks! I will be back soon!

This is the place to go! I am unfortunately in the process of nursing a dying fish, but as a result I have been to no fewer than FIVE fish/pet stores in the past week trying to procure everything I can to keep her as comfortable as possible in her final days. I wish I had found this shop sooner! I am in Santa Rosa so it didn’t come up in my initial searches, but definitely worth the drive. I called ahead to make sure they had the medication I was looking for (they did), they shared some empathy and suggestions over the phone for other things I could do to keep her comfortable. From the moment I walked in the door I knew I was in a good place. I was greeted with a smile and a welcome, the store had a calm and happy feeling to it. The fish here are energetic and content, and that speaks volumes to me. Once I recover from the heartbreak of losing my first fish, I will definitely come here if I ever decide to have another one. They also mentioned that they are under new ownership, so if you have been in the past and didn’t love it, it’s definitely worth visiting again.

My family and I visited the store 6/27/21 to get information about buying a tank, we didn’t purchase anything but we will.Seldom do I find a store with great customer service, especially pet stores. I try to keep my money local, but it’s hard when you go into a store and the employees are not into the hobby and or uninformed… this store is not, it has an excellent selection, great prices and an extremely diverse amount of fresh and salt water fish… but it is awesome with the customer service (very rare find around here) and the knowledge level and hospitality of the staff was amazing; the entire experience was superfluous!My family and I will be regulars, we will recommend this store to anyone with fish needs and it eliminated any and all of its competitors without doing anything but being excellent at what they do.

Completely unhappy with these people. I ordered some rummy nose from them. After not hearing from them for almost 3 weeks, I get a call that they are in on a Tuesday. I called them the following day, and said I wouldn’t be able to pick them up until Saturday, as I had to work late every day that week. She said she wouldn’t be able to hold them that long, but promised to hold 25 of the 50 that I ordered. I managed to make it in on that Thursday, and she only had 20 left for me. After I got them home I realized why the wanted them picked up so promptly… they all have a fungal infection and fin rot. I picked up 3 egos from them, and of the two types they had, they couldn’t even tell me what was was what. I do not recommend any only shopping there. Caesar’s in Santa Rosa has far better service and stock.😭👎🏻

Why suddenly the prices on fish doubled. Example a small fresh angel fish cost 20 bucks at PetSmart you can get one at 8 bucks. What's the deal talk about rip-off.

The tanks and supplies are all super high quality and they have a large selection of beautiful fish. The problem was no one there was wearing a mask. Even the employees went bare faced. The day we went the store was quite packed and yet not one person was wearing a mask. Overall it’s a nice store and a great covid 19 hot spot

This place is brand new and they have hit the ground running. The owners are very knowledgeable and extremely friendly and helpful. I went in today and dealt with Raff. He is one of the owners. I wasn’t sure what I wanted or how to even set up a tank for a 10yr old. Raff picked out the perfect tank for me, helped me get the perfect plants and accessories. When I wasn’t sure he did not try to over sell me. But told me that it may make the tank more crowded if I added too much stuff. Once we got the perfect tank picked out and the plants, rocks and wood. He helped me pick the perfect fish for a 10yr old to maintain. They were not the most expensive fish but very colorful and vibrant which is what I was after. I wanted to get a shark and he advised against it. Since we want to make sure the tank is stable before adding more expensive fish. When I was setting up the tank. He was readily available to answer my amateur questions. This place is by far the best place in Sonoma County. You will not be disappointed with how you are treated and you will not be taken advantage of our up-sold. They are honest and fair. I highly recommend and I hope people go and do business here. We want this place to succeed.

Let me start by saying I have spent tens of thousands of dollars here trying to help keep this store afloat. After today, I will never shop there again. For starters, it was at least 90 degrees in the store my 12 year old daughter and I both felt like we would pass out. Second the girl that helped us was extremely rude, half killed all the fish we bought just trying to catch them and then wouldn't even let my 12 year old daughter use the bathroom to wash her hands. Ninty percent of the fish I have ever bought here died within a month. Rude staff, unclean tanks, horrible pricing. New owner, now suddenly everything costs double, but all tanks still super dirty. What a joke.

Went in on a whim looking for some seiryu stone, they had a lot of rock options and beautiful healthy looking fish. Also, the lady who helped me out was super nice and informative. Will definitely be going back!

This store is a fantastic place to get your all of your aquatic needs. I wanted to get my daughters an aquarium and everyone there was so very helpful and got me all set up with everything that I needed. They were out of stock of the aquarium lids which was no big deal. I wasn't totally even certain I needed one. After discovering my cat with her paws in the tank, I decided to facebook message to ask. The owner called me immediately and asked me what size I needed (and what material I wanted the lid to be ideally) and let me know that he would figure something out for me. That evening I got a text message with a picture of my new lid. The owner built me a lid himself out of plexiglas with brackets for hanging plants above my aquarium. He charged me minimally for this. It was awesome and completely unexpected for him to go out of his way to do that for me. The aquarium looks so nice and is completely safe from the cat.All of the fish are thriving and super healthy. I'm impressed with this store, for sure!Thank you SO SO much!!!

Great place and a great staff. They give you quality fish without the high mark up in pricing. Bought my Piraíba Catfish from them and couldn’t be happier. Rarely see them for sale, or for $275+, but they had one $89.99 (also bought my Redtail Cat from them)! Seriously if you are all into the odd balls and giants of the fish world, they are your guys!

After having a bad experience at Caesars, I stopped in on a whim and was amazed at their selection, fair prices, and customer service. UTS has a lot of good freshwater and saltwater fish to choose from. Lots of plants, decor, and aquascaping products to make your tank look amazing. I'm happy to say this is my new go-to store for aquatic stuff.
