The store is always well takin care of, it's usually our go to store but yesterday afternoon there was an older lady working the self checkout and she was super rude. Pretty sure she needs customer service 101. If a customer says the screen said something and the employee argues with the customer saying it said something else when she clearly wasn't looking... Not very good customer service in my books.

Terrible customer service, insane price gouging, lots of bait-and-switch “deals” that aren’t honored. ALWAYS check expiration dates and double check all bread products for mold. Arguably the worst of the grocery chains in the area; watch out especially for spoiled deli products. Bakery products are awful. Avoid, avoid, avoid!

Excellent store setup. Employees have always been kind and helpful. I remember the only time they weren't explicitly going out of their way to be courteous was when they called a group of teenage girls annoying, but to be fair, they were annoying. I've gone here for years and almost never had a bad experience.

Employee “Michael/michal” is very aggressive and violent. He tried busting the bathroom stall door down while i was in it because he decided i was “using too much toilet paper.” I felt incredibly unsafe here. Not a safe employee for an establishment to have who knows what will set him off next, be careful shopping (and pooping) here.

This place is awesome and staff are appreciative. A lot of the negative comments here are from people who complain about everything. The type that return food because it was cooked too rare. The staff deals with a lot and still have smiles. They deserve better reviews than this.

Today I had the young man in the deli make me his sandwich the way he makes it for him. The mixture of condiments gave this a flavor that should be bottled. A great sandwich wouldn't do it justice. Thank you

My friends and I were harassed by the employees from the second we walked into the store. A specifically snarky, older male worker with glasses attempted to intimidate us and tried engaging with us multiple times. Other workers loudly spoke into phones saying that they “had eyes on us” and an announcement was even made over the speakerphone telling security to check their cameras. Disappointed in an establishment I frequently shop at for its poor choice in employees. Just the day before this I was alone in the store shopping for groceries. I won’t feel safe doing that alone any longer knowing how hostile the environment in the store can get. Setting measures for Loss Prevention is understandable and expected but blatant intimidation to a group of minors is not okay.

We recently moved to this area and have been trying out the 5 or 6 grocery stores within a few miles of our new home. We keep coming back to Save Mart but not just for the prices, which are good. We have been able to find everything on our shopping list in this store, the employees are very helpful and cheerful, the bakery is wonderful, produce is fresh and well displayed, and the variety of brand name products (including the only kind of cat food our cat will deign to eat) is second to none. It is our go to grocery store from now on.

This Save Mart is a "take the bitter with the sweet" establishment. Love the huge selection of everything. Love the freshness and variety of seafood, meat and produce. Hate the lack of Covid enforcement, e.g. masks. Not a big fan of front-of-store customer service and lack of common courtesy, as others have pointed out, although I find customer service within departments such as meat and bakery to be excellent. BIG fan of item pricing and the availability of "manager specials". What always amazes me is how they're able to stay in business given the fact that relatively few people can be found shopping here even during the busiest of times. This is a complete one-stop, low price retail operation with a huge inventory and every conceivable department you could possibly expect to find in a grocery store, including pharmacy. Although I don't frequent this store, I'm glad it's here and will try to support it more in the future despite the bad attitudes and health concerns. Hopefully management is reading these reviews and will take some kind of remedial action particularly in the area of requiring masks of everyone who enters the store, whether employee or customer.

I use the pharmacy there and I love it. NEVER have I had to wait in line and I go 3 times a month. The pharmacist is Mercy. She is nice, friendly and makes you feel like your a welcome guest. Everything is ready when I arrive it I bring a hard copy prescription she fills it right away. I love this pharmacy. In and out in 5 minutes or less.

I have shopped at Save Mart for 8 years now and never had a bad experience. Everyone is very nice and helpful.If I have a problem with pricing they correct it right away. Which other stores do not always help you in that situation. They would rather blame you or say your wrong. Save Mart is honest clean and the food is great.

I like having a neighborhood supermarket, and I go here pretty often usually to pick up a few items. The store is very clean and the produce and meats are quite nice. The store is medium to small for a supermarket, which I think is a good thing. The prices are higher than some other local grocery outlets, but one cannot always shop simply on price.

After a year of shopping here, I’ve had enough. They have the market cornered here, literally. While the store is huge and have a good selection, I take issue with the following: 1. Customer Service is either on or off. Most don’t smile or seem appreciative you are there. Exception is the meat and bakery staff. 2. Prices are a bit higher than most major stores in the area. 3. The deli is okay, don’t buy anything from a bowl as they just put out left overs from the day before and have until 8am to put out fresh items. 4. Self checkout scales are so picky, especially if you bring your own bag. I always wait for someone to clear the scale error. Worst scale IHMO ever. Bottom line, I know I have a choice where to shop and so do you, but I’m done with SaveMart. hello Safeway!

Deli is embarrassing. I asked about a DoorDash pickup they said they didn’t have one. I was ignored when I asked if they wanted to see my phone and “it didn’t come through” until I brought over a manager.

Shopped there last evening arriving about 7:30 pm. Only I and one other customer wore face masks in the entire store. Also, this place has not provided wipes when you walk in the door for months, it feels creepy just taking a shopping cart. What really stunned me, though, was that absolutely NO EMPLOYEES WERE WEARING FACE MASKS OR GLOVES!! I mentioned this to the cashier, a young man with orange hair. He said, "huh" and turned away from me. Two other young men, employees, were hanging around, too. I told them they're being stupid and inconsiderate to customers. No eye contact, no response. How dare the manager of this store allow such behavior! Back to Belair for me (and believe me, I've spent tons of money at Save Mart over many years.)

This supermarket is easy to shop because it is laid out in a logical order. The shelves are always well stocked and presentable. Floors are never cluttered with pallets and displays (like Safeway and Raley's/Bel-Air). I will pass by both of those markets to do my shopping at Save Mart. Better prices too!

They had NO 60 or 75 watt bulbs. I to go with a halogen bulb that claimed it was a 60 wat equivalent, and those bulbs don't last very long because they burn hot and they burn fast. Other than that it's a nice store and I stopped in there on occasion when I'm in the neighborhood for lunch or something I might want on the way home.

Got charged twice for one item, didn’t notice it until I got home. Unfortunately the cashier asked if I needed my receipt and me being the biodegradable freak that I am I said “NO” and went on my way. I didn’t realize this until I got home,I called save mart and cashier told me “Unfortunately you will have to talk to the book keeper”, I have never been told that by a cashier when over charged. Anyway cashier got loud and dramatic because she claims she was the only one in the store and couldn’t help me. Please don’t make the same mistake I did and double check and triple check you receipt before you leave the SAVEMART Grocery store to make sure you weren’t over charged as well, Lesson learned, always say yes to a recipient copy😓 .

My favorite grocery store in the area. Very good selection and good prices. They have some items I can't find other places. Fresh bakery on site. Good produce. What started me coming was the self check lines. It was one of the few that had that early on and saves !e aOt of time since a generally do smaller purchases.

I love shopping at Save Mart. Always plenty of parking, the baskets are disinfected and ready to go. The shelves are always stocked, unlike Walmart, and the self checkout is always open so I can get in and out fast.

Everyone at Save Mart is very courteous, very helpful, and cheerful. Save Mart has good bargains Quality Meat and fresh vegetables. I also like the prices of toiletries especially when on sale. The sales people in the bakery are very helpful.

I shop at this store due to the convenience from my house, if it wasn't so close I would never go. The people that work here have horrible customer service. They never say hello and half the time they are so busy gossiping with their co-workers to even notice you. There is barely anyone even in the store which is why it is so surprising that they cant even smile or say hello. I usually do the self check out since everything is pretty expensive and only grab a couple things. The other day I went through and a woman helped me, didn't say hello and sat their and gossiped with another lady and young man the whole time I checked out. The people at Walmart have better customer service. Kind of sad because it could be a great local store if they put forth a little more effort.

I started coming here because it is close to where I moved in the area 4 months ago and prices are decent, but the customer service from all but one teller I've met is comparable to a bartender at a truck stop that knows they're going to loose their liquor license anyway.

There was a Heavy set woman working the self help register area on January 24, at approximately 3:45 PM. I was flabbergasted that she was allowed to work with the public. I was patient while working with a register malfunctioning. She came over in an abrupt manner loudly telling me what I was doing wrong and would NOT listen to me and paid me zero regard. It was a very poor customer service situation.
