Fresh and reasonably priced vegetables, meat and fish.　Prices are rising fast due to inflation.However, it seems to be kept as low as possible.You can feel the company's efforts.but Overall good Grocery store, also Friday $5 days are good.Maybe it's just me, but it seems like there are fewer $5 items on Fridays.Safeway gas ⛽ is located on the same premises, so you can fill up your tank while shopping, or shop after filling up your tank.I only buy a few items, so I use self checkout.I miss the days when I used to chat with the cashiers.

I don't know if this is the place to leave a review for Quest but Ana was so kind and nice during my blood draw. I just hope her managers know how wonderful of an employee she is. My veins have always been difficult to draw and she did it so effortlessly!

I shop at Safeway mainly because their produce department has a good selection of fresh fruit and veggies (although they don't know the difference between a Pasilla and a Poblano). I also appreciate membership discounts like the $5 Friday specials, as well as being able to apply store coupons through the app, and paying for my groceries with my membership at the checkout. The staff there is also always great.

Nice and friendly staff. I usually come here for the flowers for my wife. Sometimes it's a hit or miss with them. Some days they have a lot, others not so much. In any case, the prices are ideal and the selection is plentiful depending on when you come. They also offer services to wrap and arrange them for you if you don't know how to do it yourself. Apart from that, the store is clean and typical as every other Safeway.

Nice and friendly Pharmacy stuff. Great selection of wines. Starbucks coffee inhouse. Many electric scooters available. Plenty of parking. Safeway has Station in Parking area. Butcher, Deli and Bakery. Very large and good Ice cream isle. Western Union in service area. Self checkout available.

Store is typically pretty clean and items are usually easy to find. It's a just a shame that there are some signs of social intolerance (from employee comments of their customers buying too much alcohol or LGBT+ pride cookies being staged in the back clearance section, "hidden" in early June when they first arrived on shelves instead of in cookie aisle with other Oreos).They have fresh sliced fruit and decent deli though! 👏

I have been using grocery pick up at Safeway for a few years now. Honestly, I would call myself a regular pick up customer, I know some of the employees who bring my groceries out by name. The grocery pick up has been a huge blessing for me. I stuggle with social anxiety, so being able to choose the products I need and not have to be around a whole lot of other people is fantastic.I have tried the Walmart grocery pick up and only have bad experiences... Specificlly the quality of the produce... At Safeway on 2220 Sunset Blvd I have NEVER had that problem, the produce chosen for me has always been quality produce and I greatly appreciate that.I have nothing but good things to say about grocery pick up, every employee who has brought my groceries out to my car has been friendly and professional... There are 3 employees who I usually see and honestly, the brief conversation with each of them makes me smile... Molly has always been friendly and fabulous, even on those rainy day that I show up and she loads the groceries into my vehicle. There is another regular and I wish I knew her name.... I usually see her in the mornings, I do remember she brought my groceries to me Sunday January 14th... anyway she has also always been awesome. Joey is the other employee I usually see, He brought me my groceries Friday January 19th. I really want to mention that one because I placed my order Thursday evening on my Safeway app... When I went to choose a time I noticed pick ups started at 7am which was an hour earlier than usual. So, I chose the 7am slot. I pulled into the parking lot just a little before 7. Joey brought my stuff to my vehicle and was friendly and professional (as always) I get that mornings are hard, and for Joey to be cheerful that early in the morning when it's dark and cold outside was delightful.Oh, I actually do have one negative thing to say about grocery pick up.... It is so irritating when other customers decide the rules don't apply to them and park in the pick up spots.

The bathroom is always disgusting. There is feces splatter all over the toilets and stall walls that have been there for weeks. Toilet paper all over the floor.It looks like it's a bathroom from a completely different building. Once you enter, you feel like you've been teleported to an abandoned town in an apocalyptic world. And of course, they only have the air hand dryer to dry off your hands so you are forced to touch the door handle when you leave after you've washed them.

Got a sandwich freshly made and lunch items for later in the week. The place is always clean and well stocked. Staff have been very friendly lately. It is one of the more expensive than other grocery stores, but seems worth it.

The staff is great inside the store, every time I'm in there and I need to find something, it seems like there's a cashier or manager there to help. I appreciate the great customer service. The reason for the 3 stars is due to the gas station cashier... This is where I usually go in the morning before work and unfortunately, there's Patrick... Seems like a nice guy but geez.. you have to repeat yourself 3 times YELLING which pump and how much just so he can hear you... Or sometimes you'll walk up to the window and he's looking down doing who knows what until finally like 2 minutes later he decides to look up and see you then finishes what he's doing and then helps you... I'm not the only one that needed to pump gas and get to work in the morning, there was a gentleman waiting for him when I pulled up parked, got out and walked to the window and he was still waiting for Patrick to see him because he was looking down... Someone needs to supervise him in the mornings or throughout the day to see what I am talking about because it's getting worse and worse I feel like.

Really friendly store. Customer service was great. A young lady at the self check saw I was waiting in line. She took me to her check out stand..she was really friendly, seemed to be interested in what I had to say instead of just another customer. Great smile too!

Located at the corner of Sunset Blvd and Park Drive.Clean Safeway store. Good looking produce. Meat looks fresh and good cuts. Average amount of foot traffic and not too busy.If you sign up for savings it will be very beneficial. The cost of food is very high right now so I recommend using the online app to help save money.Employees are nice and positive.4 stars due to the prices being so high.

Marcy the cashier was very rude and unprofessional. I asked whether I got the sale price on the chicken purchased. She said no because you need a coupon. She showed me the coupon and I asked whether I could use it. She was reluctant but scannedit, so I thought. She later refused to bag my groceries. I asked her why shewasn't bagging my groceries. She said that she was not going to bag my groceriesbecause she gave me the coupon. I reported the incident to a manager who said she would take care of the situation. Later I checked my receipt and had to go back to the manager because Marcy actually did NOT give me the coupon discount! At least the manager apologized for the situation and reimbursed me. However, I am very disappointed and upset with the customer service I received from the cashier!

Apparently you have to have an active license to buy alcohol? I had my expired one (I turned 21 a few days ago and I am waiting for my new one in the mail) and was refused at the register despite showing my old license which PROVES I am of age to buy alcohol. Will not be coming back. Was also publicly talked down to because of my license.Edit: your other Safeway agrees to disagree.

Check your receipt. Most of the checkers who have been there for a while are accurate. The new people... it's just about speed, not accuracy! Shop the just 4 U coupons, you can save on gas! The deli pre-made sandwiches are hit or miss on selection.

I came in at 5pm in with the intention of grabbing some rotisserie chicken, to my surprise the only ones out were from 8AM-1PM. I chose the 1PM in hopes of it was still good. Big NOPE. Disgusting and lack any sort of meat. Don’t touch their prepared stuff, no one cares if it’s safe to eat.

Got charged the wrong amount for seafood salad and I questioned the amount to the clerk and they assured me it was right with the right price. Did the math and it was inaccurate.Pay attention to what your being charged.Happy to tip the extra $1.50 to my local store but just try not to tell the customer that they are wrong.

Clean. Well stocked and managed. Too pricey. Poorly designed parking lot leads to road ragers frequently. Pharmacy hustles pretty hard and advocate well for customers which is why lines are always long from popularity. Some decent sales sometimes. Good produce.
