We dropped off our Pomsky and they shaved her, I've been told her coat may never grow back the same. Pic one is how we dropped her off, pic two is how we picked her up and pic three is how she looks today three months later. Very disappointing.......

Really disappointed how I was treated today. I arrived at the store with my dog for a dog wash at 5:32pm. The guy (long blonde hairs) working at the front desk was on the phone, so I waited. After a few minutes I told him that I was here for dog wash. He is still on the phone and tells me that dog wash is closed. I asked him that the store doesn't close until 6:30, and he responded in a rude tone that dog wash closes 1 hr prior to store closing. I looked at the time, and I asked that it is only 5:35pm, and I only need 20 minutes to wash my dog. His response this time, "Dog wash closes at 5:30". I get it that I was 2 minutes late, but is enforcing the rule in a rude manner when customer is being nice really worth it. I really hope Robin or Ken read this review and make some adjustments to their front desk staffs training materials.

Great selection of dog and cat supplies. Our Aussie loves the dog Biscuit "buffet" where you can create your own mix of dog treats, including grain-frer options. We also like taking our Aussie to he grooming salon for his nail trim, done with your choice of grinders, clippers, or both.

02-15-24:O arrived @ 3:20 to wash my GSD. Young man, mousy blond hair rings up my card, multiple washes on card, subtracts 1. I ask if the shower heads on the hoses in the bath have been fixed. He stares st me then says "No." I proceed to DIY bathing area There is no one in the store except for me and him. I check the bathing area and there are no shower heads, it is simply hoses. Additionally, all of the tubs were filthy, dirty, and the whole floor was soaking wet, and hairy, a dangerous and slippery floor not only for humans but also dogs. It appeared the do it yourself bathing area had not been cleaned at all, all day!I have been going to this business for at least 5 years to bathe all of my dogs. In the last 3 months, the DIY bathing area has been in a state of disrepair. And now, filth was also a problem. I hope the new owners read their reviews and do something about it.

Place closes at 6, I arrive at 4:55pm, try to get a self wash for my dog. Sorry we close in 1 hour and can’t let you do a self wash, mind you place was empty and workers just standing around. Did I mention “self wash”. Might as well close at 5 then.

Store staff super friendly and courteous. Harmony in the grooming salon is awesome! Our border collie loves her and always looks amazing when she comes out. Harmony is familiar with her coat and skin needs and makes recommendations based on her knowledge and observations of Kiri.

We enjoy taking our Australian shepherd to Bark Avenue. We like using their self-service dog wash tubs, which are good-sized, ha e a good selection of shampoos, and there are ample towels (I've been told that some places only five you 1 or 2 towels). Our dog also loves a visit to the self-service dog cookie counter for a bag of cookies from their good selection of dog treats, including grain-free options.

We take our 2 German Shepherds here and they always come out clean and smelling good! Its about the same price as other big name stores but here I feel it is more personable. The girls actually seem to spend more one on one time with the dogs and don't try to cram in as many dogs as they can. My dogs come out looking beautiful when they leave here!

I take my dog here for haircuts and grooming, and they are always so sweet and kind to him! A couple of times I have asked for little changes and they always accommodate me, and I’m very grateful to have such a great groomer close by! My Westie can be a little shy but he always gets a good report card here! The store is well stocked and tidy and the staff is very friendly!

Nice pet store. Guess some may call it upscale from outside looks but its not.Came in just to get some shampoo n conditioner for the dogs cause I was right by.Expected over the top pricing but was actually pretty good with several choices.They have indoor self groom and grooming by appointment too.Also, they have pet toys, food n supplies but I didnt really have time to look around.Service staff up front (2 younger ladies) were helpful but could use a little more personality..very dry but im a talker. Great place as I see it

I brought my dogs here for over 10 years. They got a new manager recently. She accused me of not paying. I did pay. She canceled my appointment in the future. I verified payment was made with my card and with a manger at the el dorado store. The new manger didn’t know what she was doing. I was never given a new appointment, even after talking to the owner who assured me he could get me one. Although he apologized and claimed to appreciate my business he never called me for an appointment. I am very disappointed in Bark Ave.

Love this store! Great selection of food, toys and treats and everything is reasonably priced. We don't live locally so we haven't been able to use their grooming service but the pups all look so happy when we see them getting bathed. We always stop by when we are in town!

I can't say enough positive things about Bark Avenue. From their store staff to their groomers, they are all phenomenal. Our retriever is always groomed exactly as requested, and they take incredible care of her during every visit. Would highly recommend!

Great cute store and very friendly happy staff. We travel out of our sprinter so it was nice to find a place to wash our dog they have great dog wash tubs and towls and different soap or allergies or whatever you need. They have ALOT of toys , clothes, and treats to choose from!

Our Border Collie Kiri has been bathed and pampered by Harmony since she was a little fluff ball. She is now seven years old. We followed Harmony from her last salon because Kiri just loves her. Harmony is amazing and treats Kiri like her own doggo. She is kind and patient. Kiri knows her name and goes to the door, tail wagging when we say, "Do you want a bath with Harmony?"

Harmony is so patient and kind. My Chewy has not had a good groom since Covid happen. I was blown away at how good he looked compared to the places we’ve gone to. Chewy is terrified of grooms and she was so patient with him. I recommend this groomer and Harmony.

I have used Bark Avenue for my pets grooming needs for a few years now, and i love it. We have multiple dogs and it's nice to round them up and head to Barks. For the self-serve bathes there are three tubs, first come - first served, so we can wash them at the same time.

I have been going to Bark Avenue for a few years now. The staff is always friendly, knowledgeable and kind. Whenever I have a question, or am unsure of a brand choice, they are always able to advise me - which is very helpful. The only thing that I would change (if I could), would be to add a spot by the front door to be able to get the cart to my car. They are always sooo nice and help me carry the dog food to the car - it would be nice to not have to bother them tho!

Karen did a fabulous job of grooming our Samoyed. As a Samoyed owner herself, she knows about the breed and was able to give Boris the right type of cut. He was very comfortable with her and he turned out looking fantastic! The grooming space is clean and well-maintained. Also, the store is very nice and has a large inventory of pet supplies. We recommend Bark Avenue to our friends.

Been buying food here for over 2 years but today was the first time using their grooming services. I have a somewhat difficult dog that does not like her nails clipped. Bark Avenue did an excellent job and had us in and out in less than 15 minutes. Happy dog and owner. I give them 5 solid barks!

Finally a quality holistic pet store! I Absolutely LOVE This place, the ladies there are always available to help me & are always so knowledgeable. Customer service is an A+! They definitely enjoy their jobs and it shows!!! They are open 7 days a week and always stocked with whatever I need. Last summer my dog fell very I'll & could not keep anything down. The vets could not figure anything out. The ladies here at bark avenue helped me to find a solution that works for her & today she is thriving. Thank you Bark Avenue! I appreciate this place so much, if I could give them 10 stars I would.
