Front staff was rude at best. Kept interrupting me when I’d try to speak. The vet told me my options with my new puppy were to force feed him or give him back. Everyone in my family is attached to this dog, he just won’t eat. Give him back because he won’t eat? I mean she was nice, but I wasn’t happy about that. They wanted expensive tests I couldn’t afford, I asked if there were ways to finance. No. Then there’s a sign that you can apply to finance right at the front desk, and says just ask an associate. The only response I got when I asked was “that’s for a separate credit card on your own.” So I didn’t apply and they didn’t get paid. I will be taking my puppy elsewhere. I will also be making sure everyone I know goes elsewhere. I have a wellness appointment scheduled for him with them, but am canceling that. The only thing I can say is that they did give me a free visit as it was my first time there. But what a shame for a first visit this is the impression I got.

I wasn’t sure if this facility was going to help my dog since the day before I took him to the emergency Vet and they didn’t fully help him!!! This facility was just amazing blew away my concerns from arriving to leaving this place was just amazing. The Girl in the front I didn’t catch her name was super nice I came early and informed that it be a while and put me and my dog in a room while we waited. The assistant/nurse/tech Julie or Julia I’m bad with names she was awesome asking me questions and getting all the correct information she explained the medication and process of what they were going to do and what my dog needed! The doctor, Dr.D was also awesome she did a FULL examination of my dog while in the room she took the time and didn’t rush. They all made me feel better that my dog was being taking care of and being treated if I had any questions or concerns that answered them all! They did more than the Emergency Vet with half the cost and care for my baby! Will definitely keep coming back to them!

I came in with my sick dog. Her symptoms were runny nose and Lethargic.The Veterinarian stepped into the room told my family he has distemper. To get a test done and if it comes out negative, it could still be distemper. To then give my dog back to the shelter because it is fatal.My family was destroyed by the news.The veterinarian didn't do a throughout check on my pet. She just looked at it and gave me and my family anxiety and told us Not to adopt again for 6 months.We went to a different clinic. They informed up distemper is a real thing, but also rare. That Relieved us from our stress, the petco clinic gave us, in a matter of minutes.Fortunately for us she just had a puppy cold. Very curable. My puppy is feeling so much better and I'm glad I didn't listen to this doctor because the thought of not having my dog would hurt.

I had an appointment at 8:30 am and didn't get seen until 10. Once they saw me it still took a while before they took her in. Once they took her in it was about a ten minute process and they are definitely cheaper than most options. My cat might of not kept awake but she's a real trooper.

Been coming to this Vetco since it opened with my old cat, they’ve always been nice and thorough. Even cried when we made the humane decision of putting her to sleep. For this visit they have met me with the same niceness, I would recommend them again to any other friend :)

Elka, Julie and Dr. D took great care of my Maine man and I. My kitty had the sniffles and wheezing. My usual vet couldn't see me for a week. The VetCo at PetCo in East Riverside had an opening the next day. I was able to book online outside of their office hours and was called the next morning to check on the details for the visit. My cat got a full exam, meds, and kind care for my sick pet. We are both feeling better after our visit to VetCo.Also, no sales pitch for the PetCo Total Care plan (Which is great for pets that tend to need extra care like mine, and includes discounts for food and litter... yes please!) or for this review (I am dumping my old vet... we have a new place to go.) I found the paperwork for both within their office. When I asked, I was given straightforward honesty about the pros and cons of the program.

Your staff was nice and the office was clean. However, over $200 for an obvious ear infection is way too much. Our dogs are family. I know you are a business, but it feels less like family medicine and more like how much can we charge these people. For example, $5.99 materials and supplies charge when my appointment used neither materials or supplies. I was told we have to charge everyone that. You are taking home a $41 bottle of medicine, therefore you have to pay that fee. Really? Increase the cost of the meds then. Overall, I was disappointed with the visit.

I received a call less than an hour before my appointment time, stating that the hospital was 2 hours behind, and asking me to reschedule. I agreed to reschedule, but did not receive a confirmation email and/or text. To clear up the confusion and to confirm, I called back 30 minutes before the original appointment time, they say that I did not get rescheduled, and I can come in for the original time. Due to the last minute notice and departure, I asked if I can be late for 10-15 minutes for leeway, they rejected. Then I asked if 5 minutes is okay since Google maps said that I should arrive right on time. They went to confirm for a few minutes, and said yes. I left immediately. When I was driving there, I received a text to confirm my rescheduled appointment time. Due to the last minute notice and rush hour traffic, I turned into the plaza 10 minutes late, and received a text stating that I should reschedule. I figured to walk in and ask if seeing my pet was possible. The hospital was empty, and seemed like closing before the closing hour, which it does not match with the statement of them being 2 hours behind. My pet was only seen due to the fact that she was there for a second vaccine shot, I didn't have the opportunity to have a fully conversation to ask abouty concern, and everything seemed very rushed.

Our kitties were brought inside for their vaccine and physical exam right on schedule. Nurses and doctor handled our babies with care and let us be with them for their physical; this was very important for us because our babies are not sociable and feel fear and stressed with strangers around. The visit was very fast. Our appointments were 8 & 8:15 am and we're out at 8:40 am.

The staff at Vetco was pleasant and informative. They communicated well and answered all my questions. They explained the process of my fur baby's surgery and kept me updated on his condition. Thank you for giving great medical care to Dug. He recovered quick and is back to his normal happy self.

I was charged for a service that my dog didn’t need and when I let the representative know about the charges they had no explanation to why I was being charged. I asked why they did a fecal test if my dog was not being brought in for any stool complications and is a healthy puppy. I have yet heard back from the Dr and I have written messages between me and the doctor questioning this transcription. I would not recommend unfortunately vets tell you anything to try to get money out of you.

I came in for a wellness check with our new pup and was notified he had parvo. We quickly rushed him to the pet hospital. He was admitted and remained there til he was well enough to come home. Thankfully the vet and their team acted quickly. Referred me over to a vet hospital. As traumatic as it was I am grateful for our vetco team!

The kindness, compassion and quality of care from Dr Humphrey and her team at Thrive in Riverside exceeded all my expectations. My Lily needed a lump removal, tooth extractions and a cyst removal. I was nervous to say the least but the care she received was excellent. There was clear communication every step of the way. Even though very busy, every team member treated us like we were the only patients they had to deal with!! Incredible!!!

Originally thought this place was great. I pay the monthly fee of 20$ I have 2 cats and I can't get an appointment until the end of July. My cat is sick and I am disappointed I have to go pay another vet when I'm suppose to have access to see one here. I want my money back.

Not affordable!! $60 for inital pet exam which you have to have BEFORE they will even tell you the cost of spaying and neutering your pet! They will not even give you a ballpark figure.
