They hooked me up! I went to 3 stores to compare the cheapest prices I can find, but ended up leaving with stuff from here. Jeremy was a smooth talker plus he gave me discounts compared to paying their MSRP, and it worked. Although I wouldn’t say they are the cheapest in price, cuz I can get more from online or at Ellis Aquatics in Compton, but they try to work it out that you’ll feel good of buying from them. Good job to them guys! If they cared for my budget, why go somewhere else?

These guys are fantastic. Two brothers who opened up the store because they have a passion for it. They work at 100 miles an hour, and really take care of their customers. All of their aquariums are ultra clean, the entire store is clean, and the water quality is out of this world. They both take extreme pride in their collection and their profession. I live a half an hour away and these guys are going to be the only people I buy stuff from. The guy also told me I could call him at the store at any time if I needed any advice on my tank. I can’t recommend the store enough!

If you are looking for a unique shop that has a great selection of salt water fish and corals, this is the place. But not only will you have a high variety, the tanks are always clean, you are getting high quality corals and frags, and the fish are healthy (and happy).First of all, there is something unique about this shop. Jeremy and Adam know their stuff. They will never hesitate to help you out. If you are having issues with your tank, they are so responsive to help figure out the problem (no matter the time of day--no kidding). And more times than not, they have it figured out. They will test your water-- they will do what it takes to make sure you leave comfortable, as after all, they care about your tank as much as you do. Do not mistaken their high energy for anything more than being passionate about the hobby.If you are dedicated to your tank, putting the effort and time, this shop will be the perfect companion. They are great when just getting started into the hobby. They will set you up, and help you along the way. Its always exciting to see what new things they bring in, and you will find it worth a trip to explore this gem.

I had previously negatively reviewed, not knowing they were having a horrible situation and was contacted by the owners after leaving a review! what an amazing store to contact their customers to make sure they are taken care of! The drive from the high desert was definitely worth it and Adam was very helpful and gave us some beautiful corals and thank you to Rocio reaching out and improving the experience!! Nice enough store. Went in for some frozen food. Was told that they could do 2 for $20, which is a bit high. I told them no, just the one for now, thinking they were around 11 each. Total came out to 16+ dollars for 1 package of frozen spirulina mysis shrimp from Hikari! I'm sorry, but I will be going out of my way to Norco where I can buy the exact same thing for less than half of that price. I have always felt this store was expensive on some items and I understand they have to make a profit but I'm not going to be taken advantage of like that. They are basically forcing you to buy 2 and that's still a bad deal at 20 dollars.

Worth the drive each time from where I live. They helped me ordered a Red Sea AIO and offered delivery to the house. Very helpful and knowledgeable. The store is clean and well-maintained. Looking forward to add to my fish and coral collection from them!

You need to check out this place. This stor has been my "go to" store for a year now ( I'm a new Reefer). The store is clean, including the tanks. Lots of choices of frags too. I think they have reasonable pricing on Corals, and fish. They answer all my pesty questions...

Everything is overpriced Jeremy the owner and his brother just wants to make a quick buck, does not care about the hobby things are 3 times what they cost anywhere else never again will I be shopping at this store, I feel bad for new hobbyist going in to this store to get robbed for their money. If you are new to the saltwater aquarium hobby do not go in here please it would be the best decision you will ever make, the people here are scam artist with their great deals that only trap you into buying overpriced items, shop online or at another place.. ooooh and when you call them out on them ripping you off they get mad and tell you they are closing so that you can leave the store...

I went there awhile ago and got ripped off and came home with tons of pest on my corals. The brothers who own the shop seemed really cool and they worked on my with the pricing on everything. I thought I was getting a good deal, but instead I got ripped off. I was supposed to have a green carpet anemone among my items and they took it out when they were ringing me up. Plus, when I got home my corals has tons of harmful pests (flatworms, Bristol works, and snails!) maybe it was just my luck, but I will never go back.

Drove from Fontana and their customer service from Jeremy was excellent. My brother and I just went to browse around and walked out spending over $150 worth of product. Good prices and lots variety of frags of multiple sizes. Definitely will visit soon.

Kicked us out.There were two of us in the building, we were the only customers in the building. We talked to one of the staff about what we were looking for (reef lighting and 130+ gallon tank). We were checking out the lighting setup that they had and 7 minutes later another gentleman walked in to buy water. After that, we were approached by staff and were pretty much told to leave if we were only gonna browse because they could only have a certain amount of people in the building due to covid. How are you supposed to shop without actually being able to shop? Anyways, we went to another pet shop nearby (a pop and son shop) where we got very helpful and friendly service, so I decided to buy my reef lighting from them.

Used to be my favorite store when starting my reef tank until I soon realized the corals AND fish were EXTREMELY over priced, and the owner Jeremy just wants to make a quick buck. I asked for advice and he knowingly gave me the wrong information just to sell me a $50 shrimp, I went back a few weeks later and told him what had happened and he said "oh I knew that would happen." so why did you lie to me to begin with? Be aware of his scamming on coral frags he'll sell you a $10 frag for $40 if you don't know your information. ALSO be aware of his "great deals" he tells you he'll give it to you cheaper or give you "free stuff" that he ends up charging you for anyways. Will NEVER be returning found a better store that actually cares.

Had an absolutely amazing experience here!! Found them from a random Google search, and ended up walking out with everything we needed to set up our entire 20 gallon tank from the rock to the baby starfish.Store is owned and operated by brothers Jeremy and Adam who keep every inch of it clean, and every tank healthy and thriving.You will definitely walk out of here with more than live rock and coral, they are a collaborative wealth of knowledge, and sometimes it's nice to just stop and ask questions. Hands down the best source of all things saltwater I've seen (and I've seen quite a few). I'm happy to call Jeremy my "fish guy".

This store is AMAZING!! Well worth the drive to find. The 1st tank you see is stock full of various macro algae - some I have never seen available to hobbyists before. Sea grass for one - I almost thought it was a freshwater tank until I saw the corals and fish. Multiple frag tanks with common as well as ultra rare corals. Jeremy was very knowledgeable and helpful. I got an amazing deal on a pair of ruby red dragonets. Also had colonies for sale - something you don't see very often. I am definitely going to be a repeat customer.

Edit 9/24/16.... Went in today to deal with the mistake on the checker.. Top freakin notch! Not only did it get addressed and corrected, they went above and beyond what was needed. I haven't had an lfs as pleasant to deal with straight up in over 13 years! Many are good, Mystic Reef is GREAT! Thank you for being awesome and making this my new spot for all things reef! Highly recommend them and if you aren't local, make the drive.. It's these kinds of guys that make the hobby rewarding.I went in today for the first time based on the suggestion of a random guy I bumped into at another local box pet store. They did not have the absolutely largest or greatest selection of reef corals or fish, but I wasn't expecting that. So they met my expectations. My reasons for the 3 star hit is because I bought a Hanna Instruments Phosphate Checker low range and immediately hit problems. It's a $50 meter and was supposed to have been new, however it wasn't. It was missing the reagent packets, so. as my wife pulled around and I was inspecting it and noticed that, we flipped around and I took it back in. The glass tubes had water in them, so it clearly had been used. The guy was real cool about it and gave me more reagent packs, so I was happy... Until I got home and tested my water. I hadn't noticed 2 things: First the reagent packs were expired as of 11/15, that sucks... Usually it's not a big deal,except when they aren't even the right ones! He was nice and gave me 6 extra, but 12 iodine reagent packs that are expired still render the used meter that I paid retail new price for useless. So I'll be heading back tomorrow to get a refund. I'll adjust my rating accordingly from there. As info, the HI713 Hanna Checker should come with HI713-25 reagent packs, not HI718-25...if they handle the issue correctly, I'll adjust higher as the rest was good. If not, I'll drop it accordingly... Otherwise, a very knowledgeable store with good products, not bs filler stock like most places. Just hoping this was a mix up and is fixed

I only came to this store because my usual one was closed that day but I'm never going back here. The young man was very nice from the beginning very talkative. He actually wouldn't stop talking on trying to upsale me the larger item. He mentioned he's the owner & that he could do extra great deals if I just took the larger item. The item is extremely overpriced from my usual place so I decided to just take the small one & went up to the counter. Still at the counter he's talking on how I should just take the large one & even dropped the price more, so at that point it was a great deal & I decided to take the large one. He said it's half off now & said the total was $8 w/ change. I paid & went home. I got home only to find out he charged me $11 something. I called & he said there was a $2 card fee. Nobody does a fee of $2 for using debit!! That's ridiculous. Plus he never once mentioned it before paying! He said there was a sign. No damn sign anywhere! Now I know why he doesn't stop talking, to distract the customer. Also I was wondering why he never gave me my receipt, cus he clearly said "that will be $8" and he knew that's not what he was charging. Beware of "his great deals" people he makes it sounds so good only to upcharge you right before paying AND WITHOUT EVEN TELLING YOU.
