I recently visited the bird farm and was absolutely delighted with the experience. From the moment I arrived, it was evident that the staff takes great pride in the care and well-being of their birds. The level of attention and dedication shown by the team was remarkable. Not only were the birds well-grown and healthy, but the service provided was exceptional. I highly recommend this bird farm to anyone looking for a place where birds are nurtured with love and attention

Have been patronizing for over 30 years….live in Henderson NV for 20 years and still go to Magnolia Bird Farm a couple times a year to get specific food and supplies for my Green Cheek Conure. I cannot find a more complete place that is bird (all types!) specific. A few negatives would be how much prices have risen (used to get 5# millet for $13 and last box was $40!!) and I don’t care for the area where consignment birds are kept. Otherwise it’s a wonderful place!

Really love this place, we've been to it a few times, bought a few parakeets from here too. Met some wonderful birds in the indoor pet area. But they're all so beautiful, the staff is friendly, helpful and extremely knowledgeable willing to answer your questions. Highly recommend!!

Went here on a wim always wanting a macaw. Not seeing the blue and gold I wanted I asked if they would be getting any in soon, to which Jamie said "I've got one upstairs" and she brought out this beautiful girl and it was love at first sight for both of us! She's literally attached to my hip and I couldn't love every second with her more if I tried! Jamie is so knowledgeable and helpful and also doesn't try to sell you stuff you don't need. Amazing experience and I'm forever grateful they gave me my beautiful Galileo😍

One of the most fascinating places I've ever been! There are so many varieties of beautiful and colorful birds it's a wonderful place to take kids to see nature at its best they even have large exotic birds that can talk and they have a wonderful iguana named Tarzan that I got to pet and he was just so sweet! I highly recommend this place it's really magical!

Came here looking to buy a peach faced love bird. However they had none in the nursery at the time and April recommended we get a parakeet. My kids and I are so happy with our bird. April was very helpful and friendly and gave us so much advice I definitely recommend this place when looking for a bird. 😄

I know there are mixed reviews for this place. I always bought my babies from their nursery section in the back right. The employees who cars for the babies there seem knowledgeable. And the baby/young birds I've gotten from their nursery section have all been healthy. They recommend setting only low perches for the 1st six months, cages big enough to spread their wings, and have you bring them back for free health checks.I've attached pictures of my birds and family members birds that I bought from there as babies (3 1/2 -8 months old... depending on the bird).

We bought a Sun Conure from Magnolia a couple years ago, and it was a great experience! The person who helped us was knowledgeable and made sure we knew what we were getting into with the type of bird we chose. We bring him back once every three months or so to stock up on their special food blend, which is amazing, and to have our bird’s nails and wings clipped, which is a free service that I also highly recommend.

Love this place they're very knowledgeable, this is where I got my first budgie at 6 weeks old after the owner's birds hatched them. And this is a great place to bring kids and show them how beautiful birds are and speak to knowledgeable people, and if you're lucky you might just have a cockatiel want to stand on your arm... Her name is Frida, she's the store bird, or at least one of them... And she loves men and children; she tolerates some women LOL but you can't wear red around here if you're a woman because she definitely won't like you then. Anyways you got to come check out the Magnolia Bird Farm this place is awesome!

Took my parakeet in to have her nails and wings clipped. I don't know what they've done to her, but now she can Not perch on anything will not even use her feet to help her climb to the top of her cage like she used to.I'm not happy beware.

I brought my granddaughter to the birdfarm. You'd have thought i took her to a Zoo. She was so amazed with all of the birds. When she found out that we could buy the birds and bring them home she wanted BaBa to but all the birds in the house.... i had to remind her she has kaTz.

Updated review with vet information: DO NOT TAKE YOUR BIRD HERE FOR A GROOMING!!!! I took my bird (Green Cheek Conure) to Magnolia Bird Farm on Saturday May 8th 2021 for a grooming which is something I’ve done a few times before without too much incident. This time when my bird was handed back to me he was kind of loopy and not really standing up right. The man that groomed him told me he would be fine, just pouty for awhile. I brought my bird to the car and noticed he wasn’t staying upright in his carrier. I sat with him in the parking lot for about 15 minutes to see if he would regain his bearings. He finally did but I noticed he was holding his eye shut.From the parking lot I called around to several bird vets but nobody had the room for him on such short notice. Reluctantly I took him home to watch him. After a few hours, his eye was super swollen and black and blue. I also noticed that he couldn’t see out of it. There was no reaction to any movements I made on that side of him. Monday morning, May 10th I called my regular bird vet and luckily he had a cancellation so was able to see my bird that day. Due to the swelling he couldn’t really see what was going on with his eye, but gave me some anti-inflammatory drops. My bird’s pupil wasn’t responding to light so he let me know he was in fact blinded…just unsure if permanent. He told me to bring him back next week so he could assess his eye. My vet said the groomer most likely accidently put a finger on his eye and applied too much pressure while restraining the bird. (Mind you this is a small bird…). At this point I notified Magnolia Bird Farm of the situation and they apologized and said to keep them posted.On Monday (May 17th) I brought my bird for a follow-up visit. His eye is still a little bruised and swollen at this point. The vet was able to see that my bird’s retina had been detached. This means my bird will be blind in that eye forever. He has to stay on the anti-inflammatory drops for weeks to months in order to try and save the eye so it doesn’t have to be surgically removed. He has to be seen every so often now in order to keep track of his healing progress. As you have guessed…this has cost me hundreds of dollars so far. I’m out a lot of money and my bird is half blind due to the negligence of a groomer. Magnolia Bird Farm apologized when I sent the update that they have blinded my bird. They let me know that the particular groomer responsible is no longer allowed to groom birds until he goes through more training. I was told the staff was made aware of the issue and about how if they aren’t careful, they can blind a bird. The apology was nice…but it does not help my bird and I’m still stuck paying hundreds of dollars for their mistake. They have not offered to take any financial responsibility even though they’ve been made aware at how much this has and will cost me in the future.Please…do not get your bird groomed here. Pay the money and have a professional do it. As my bird vet told me…you get what you pay for. It will save you money in the long run. Please don’t make the same mistake I did. I’m not the first person to have a bird injured here nor will I be the last. They will not help you if they injure your bird. They take no responsibility.

This is probably one of the best places I've ever gone for birds/bird supplies. I bought my green cheeked conure from them a little more than a year ago and they were extremely helpful when it came to information about them in addition to what I knew about the bird. He's healthy and happy, and I seriously love how friendly their baby parrots are. They even have baby pictures of the birds in the nursery. Thank you so much!

This is a wonderful beautiful place with amazing service and so many healthy birdies. They have always helped us when we lived nearby. Boarding is super cheap, plenty of choices for feed, just an overall good place for bird owners.
