EDIT: THIS PLACE IS A DUMP. . OUTSIDE PARKING LOT HAS TRASH EVERYWHERE. CIGARETTE BUTTS ALL OVER. BATHROOMS UN MAINTAINED. I DONT UF THERE US A NEW MANAGER. BUT Place has gone down hill. AND I FEEL BAD FOR HAIR SALON AND NAIL PLACE HAVE TO DEAL WITH TRASH FROM Dollar General. Good prices. it is cheap. but selection very limited. good parking. only grocery store on this side of town. Public restrooms also available here.

The prices are okay here, but the produce section is pretty limited. The selection of products is often not as wide as I would like, both in types of products I would like to buy and in the brand selection available. However the staff is generally polite and friendly, and fairly patient with the idiosyncrasies of their guests. I often check their specials when I go in and find good discounts occasionally.

I live here in ripon so there really isn’t much options for grocery stores or just stores in general to go to. So with that you would think this store would be on it and just be full of nice people since it’s such a small town. That’s not the case, managers are never happy or helpful and the employees just look intimidated the entire time they are working. I feel bad for them! They are nervous to even ask a manager to void out a purchase and for a manager to give a look to a customer because they changed their mind is just crazy. I drive all the way into Manteca or Modesto now rather than go to this store! I also filed a complaint to corporate office because no one should have to work in such a hostile environment that’s why you guys have had hiring signs so long. Bunch of rude and unhappy people here our little town deserves better.

I was there this evening looking for something that I could find and a employee named Rebecca and she was so helpful and made my shopping there easier. And she made my girlfriend smile. She was very professional and helpful. Kind and seemed to really know her job. I give your store five stars because that girl made it go fast and friendly. Don't know what her regular work habits are but if she is that good all the time id recommend you promote her .

I had never been to any Dollar General store before, and I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised. The produce looked fresh. The aisles were clutter free. Nice selection of coffee creamer!

The prices, cleanliness and customer service attitudes are great.However, the amount of cashier's on hand is too low. There is never enough and the wait time in line is too long. I feel for the workers because they are over extended.NEED MORE CASHIERS during weekday hours!

This is my neighbor grocery + store and I shop there at least once each week. Staff very helpful, nice produce section, variety of stock good and well maintained. I'd recommend this store anytime!

They have cute house decorations, groceries, seriously everything you need from food, household, medical, and beauty care products and very friendly staff. They have all the seasonal decorations that you'll ever need and seasonal stuff goes on sale for 70% after the holiday.

Since the opening of this Ripon Store. This store has gotten trashy and dirty. I only shop here if I need soda or beer. Cashier's are slow, no urgency! Employees need to dress nicely, hair etc...

The Dollar General that's in Ripon very nice very helpful always a smile very friendly it's like family everyone knows everyone manager there is awesome as sore the employees and they're never too busy to help you out totally recommend Dollar General in Ripon I'm sure the other Dollar Generals are probably just the same but being that we live in this location this is where we go

I LOVE this place! Always inexpensive and I'm able to find everything I need and more. Unlike some other huge chains where u have to fight w ppl to maneuver around, this place is always calm...in fact why am I writing this review and letting out my secret lol!?

It's not your ordinary Dollar General store, it has fresh meats, fruits and veggies, sweets,beverages, and a huge frozen food section(my favorite:one pound of frozen berries for just over $2). Good management too, if you ask for help, they are quick to respond.

The one in ripon is a nice clean quiet store definitely worth driving a little farther to shop in this location i live in Modesto and definitely appreciate this store compared to others

I got banned for a year out of this place because I complain about their meat.... Everything else is a bargain but don't buy the meat except for the ground beef cuz that goes so quickly anything else you're going to be returning because it's going to be spoiled by the time you want to use it

It is convenient, affordable, and usually not crowded. A surprisingly good variety of options. It has all the things you expect in a grocery store with dollar store prices.

There’s a bunch of young people that are so rude every time someone will walk in the door this girl being a cashier was just talk a lot of nonsense about that very unprofessional if she don’t like her job why is she there couldn’t get her name she didn’t have a name tag .. lately I been seeing more of young ones like that

Prices always beat major grocery stores. The trade off is that there's less selection and sometimes run out of items that go a while to restock which makes it difficult when you rely on their stock due to location.
