This is my absolute favorite range! As indoor ranges go, this one is always well maintained and well lit. Somehow the acoustics make it such that every shot is not deafening, despite wearing ear protection. There are plenty of firearms to rent, the prices are reasonable, and they always have ammo on hand. The staff there are very friendly and professional! I also like that they are an FFL who makes the PPT process as smooth as possible. Keep up the great work and great atmosphere!!

I went here to use the shooting range and found the employees so helpful, courteous and friendly that I returned to buy a gun. Again I was treated great, and I could tell that everyone I encountered seemed to truly enjoy working there. 10/10 would recommend👍

What a fantastic Gun Shop to visit. I went in the shop with my girlfriend. She had no gun experience at all. We were helped by Montana Watson. What a Fantastic person! She explained in detail the specifications of the guns we were interested in purchasing. When we got on the target range she instructed my girl friend in great detail how to handle and properly shoot a hand gun. Of course emphasizing safety at all times. We had a Great time and we bought 2 H&K handguns. Thank You Montana for the Great Experience!

I have only been here a handful of times, because it is an hour and half from my house. They are beyond professional and their customer service is second to none. This is what gun stores should be. I purchased a scope over the phone. I received a text letting me know the scope had arrived at the store. They mounted and bore sighted the scope while I waited. From the time they answer the phone up to paying at the register, I always feel that they appreciate my business. I am more than happy to give it to them. I have no problem driving there nor recommending Barnwood Arms. One of the best gun stores I have ever been to.

The staff is extremely helpful and friendly! Always personable and very knowledgeable. They also have a indoor range which the kids and I had fun at. Great selection of firearms to rent and try out as well. Only complaint is the mark up on some firearms tends to be higher than other local shops. But overall worth checking out!

Excellent selection of guns. Honestly, one of the only places within a 20mi radius where they don't price gouge guns to prey on naive, new (and old) shooters. The fact that they also have consigned and used guns is another big plus for me (not to mention they actually sell decent air rifles, probably the only place with PCP rifles). Barnwood also has one of the best selections of reloading equipment in the area, with a fantastic range of powders, also at great prices. My only gripe, and the reason I give it 4 stars, is their range fee. $20/hr is just not worth it, and then you really don't even get much of a discount as a member. If they fixed that, I, and I'm sure many others, would be flocking there daily.

Great staff, decent prices and I did mention great staff? Walked was greeted by Tristan and he offered assistance. Which I declined initially, took a walk around the store. They have safes of various sizes, a plethora of shotguns and rifles and an indoor shooting range.Tristan walked me around the store and gave information about the range. In fact, I kept hearing the staff, greet everyone that walked in. This is by far one of the friendliest stores I have walked into and I decided to walk out with 4 boxes of ammo...for now. Will be back for sure!

The Staff was super friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. A HUGE thanks to Paul & Larry, for their knowledge, patience, and for going above and beyond in helping me, the newbie gun owner. They were very patient and helpful in helping me find the perfect fit for my first handgun. Even though there are closer Gun Range locations to where I live, I will continue to travel the extra distance solely based on their incredible customer service, and knowlege. Shop at Barnwood Arms and I guarantee that you will not leave disappointed!! I will definitely be making all future firearm purchases here. I can't give this company enough praise, but a heartfelt Thank You for all of the assistance you have provided me.

First time in the shop. Stopped in after work in the area just to check and see in case they had 22 lr as finding any ammo lately has become an exercise in futility. This is the first time I've been in gun shop where everyone seems happy to be working there. The shop looks really nice with a good selection of new and used arms and accessories. My transaction was super quick and Craig was friendly and helpful. While browsing around after the purchase he even came over to show me features of a carbine I was admiring. Customer service is not a dying art at this shop. From now on I'll take the extra time to drive to Barnwood for all my firearm needs.

I bought my first gun, a Schmidt-Rubin G11, using this shop as my FFL recipient. I had never done an FFL transfer before. All the staff who helped me out every step of the way, without getting impatient with my inexperience or dumb questions, really do deserve the highest accolades for their customer service. Under the cozy veneer of huge double wooden doors and homely aesthetic lies a truly modern gun shop with a huge selection of weapons, knowledgeable, friendly staff, and all the gun-related services you could ever need. These guys have it down pat.

What an incredibly friendly and well staffed shop! I drove up from LA to do a transfer. Staff member Kylie was fantastic and super friendly. She really took the time to make sure everything was in order while we talked “shop”!Upon my return (and as luck would have it) another PPT, I was greeted when I walked in and made feel welcomed. Today I dealt with Megan, Josh and Kylie. All incredible. They’re a real credit to the store. As we know in these times, a lot of stores can’t be bothered to deal with transfers, let alone spend time with you. Barnwood arms treated me like I was actually buying something! Just great all round service from start to finish.Good thing is they will ship to my FFL so I will continue to do business with them. They have a nice range of H&K also! There’s a reason why they’ve been in business so long. Great prices too. And they have a range !! I’ll be back !

Here now and having a great experience! The workers are pleasant, polite and informative. The gentleman working with us now is really taking the time educate us so that we make the best choice for our use purposes, comfort-level and budget.He's also informed us that when one purchases from Barnwood, there are two complimentary shooting sessions included as well as a yearly cleaning! How great is that!? I was worried that I'd walk out with the equipment and be in danger of making a dire mistake (the user error repercussions here would be grave...) but they clearly care about proper use and education and are not only knowledgeable but generous with that knowledge.

I ordered a shotgun and a .308 stripped lower to be sent to this FFL from Palmetto State Arms. They want me to pay 100$ per item with a 47$ fee. Absolutely astonished when the girl told me the price!! Needless to say, I contacted PSA and had them cancel the shipment to these crooks!!If you're looking for an FFL.. keep looking. This business is worst than the Biden administration!! If they're like this with this, they're probably like this with other things.No bueno 👎🏽

Great place for firearm purchase and firearm questions. Good for first time gun buyers and experienced firearm owners as well. I bought many guns from here and have never been dissapointed! Barnwood Arms is a great place for firearms. You have the unique ability to test out a gun on their range before purchasing it. When you purchase a firearm from them, they give you two free range hours and two free gun cleanings. The staff is welcoming and knowledgeable. Having bought a safe and a firearm there, I thoroughly recommend Barnwood Arms.

Barnwood has always gone above and beyond for me as a customer. I bought a USED shotgun last year and recently started having an issue with it. I took it in for repair and received a call the next day that it was ready. When I inquired as to what the repairs would cost I was informed that they would be free. I was expecting to need to pay something for the repair and was very willing to do so. They said nope and thanked me for being a good customer. This is just another example of why I will continue to purchase products from them!

I sent my shotgun in to have it looked over as it miss fired a few times at the range. I also wanted to have the gun cleaned. After the gunsmith checked it over he could not find anything wrong and did not charge me for inspecting the gun. When I got home to put the gun away I noticed the wood was cracked by the receiver and the gun would not open. I took it back to the gunsmith who got the gun to work properly again as well as ordered me a new stock and forearm for my trouble. This guy stands behind his work and I would recommend them to my family and friends.

Small place but great place fir starters like myself. Great customer service, great prices and I loved it! Get the memberships, it's totally worth it. Otherwise, it's $20 per person per hr. If you want to rent a gun there, you can for $10 for one gun or $15 for unlimited various gun rentals but you can't use your own ammo if you rent a gun from them so you have to purchase it but it's still worth it! I also love that they advertise couples nights and ladies nights. Super cool ideas for some destressing. 2 thumbs up!

My last purchase from Barnwood went horribly wrong! Never registered my firearm until I called to check on it to be picked up! so, after being promised that they would “make it right” when I picked up my gun I went ahead and said to register it! (10 days after paying for the firearm) well I picked up my gun finally after 24 days and all they did for me was offer 2 free cleanings... I will never purchase from them again

Great place!I've been looking at Glocks and trying to decide which model I wanted. It came down to a 9mm or a 40 Cal and between full size or compact. I had shot a compact 40 Cal (G23) with a friend of mine last weekend and liked it but he didn't have a full size to compare it to. So a friend of mine told me that Barnwood Arms has a G17 (full size 9mm) for rent. When I got there they also had a G23 for rent. So I rented both and put 100 rounds through each. Decided on getting a G22 (full size 40 Cal). The purchase process was quick and easy, Chuck was very helpful and knowledgeable with all the questions I had about the purchase process. I would definitely recommend them to a friend.PS: the range ammo there was cheaper than what I bought at BIG 5 on sale. 2boxes of 50 round of 40Cal for 39.98 +taxVince

I went in just for oil and to potentially make another rifle purchase. The young kid dressed like a cowboy decided that I’m suspicious and watched me the entire time like I’m going to take something. It’s too bad that they like to profile customers. I live just down the road in the nice new beautiful area they’re building in Manteca off of 120/99. It would have been nice to have a shop right up the road from me. I’ll just continue to throw my money at my regular stores that appreciates my business.
