ONLY full grocery store in town. Its pricey and it closes early (like 8pm). Overall though, the employees are very nice, the store is well stocked and very clean. When we went on a late weekday afternoon there was a moderate amount of other shoppers in store and surprisingly for a parking lot as small as their's, plenty of parking spots available up front.

It's the home town store.It's clean and stocked well. If they don't have something you want just ask. They will see what they can do to get it. They have club points for free items. Their deli and meats are fresh and well stocked. Wide variety of local fresh produce.All the staff is always helpful and polite. It is an owner owned store the only one in town so it is a bit expensive. But it is there for our convenience .

A very groovy grocery!Where else can you get antipasto salad, a great cheese selection, and probably 50 different brands of beer? Incredible selection for a small town grocery. There's a superb butcher and deli, and fresh veggies and fruits. I've only been here a half dozen times, but I discover new hidden gems every time. My only gripe is the prices are a bit steep. But, Thursday is Senior Day with many discounted items and Rio Vista isn't anywhere near a major artery, plus, if you want it...Lyra's probably has it anyway. I must also mention how friendly and helpful the staff is. Very nice folks work here!

We were working in Rio Vista and I needed a sharpie to mark some dates on barricades so I searched for a place and found this gem. I prefer local places that serve the nearby community and that's what you'll find here. The employees there are warm and friendly and carry that charm you can't find at other major retailors. I didn't search the entire store but I assume they would have everything a person would need, plus they had the sharpie. Perfect; after I left I realized I needed to use the bathroom so I returned shortly and asked the cashier about public restrooms and without hesitation she told me how to find it. Honestly, I miss places like this which are slowly being replaced by the likes of walmart. Everyone there seemed real, if that makes sense. On my way to the bathroom in the rear of the store, I saw what I thought to be the deli/meat department and it looked inviting. Clean store, friendly staff and that extra little charm is why I gave 5 stars.

I'm giving 2 stars because the workers are extremely nice! But I will NEVER shop there again... absolutely over priced! Will drive to Suinsun City, Lodi, or Fairfield. Ridiculous. Rio Vista needs another grocery store.

I love this place. Great produce, meat dept., deli and all around well stocked supermarket. Very handicap friendly. The whole staff love their store. I appreciate the quality of customer service. Highly recommend.

This is a great little market in the little town of Rio Vista. They have a very big selection of great food and other supplies. The meats are fresh and you can request special cuts of meats too.

The meat and produce departments are particularly good and the prices are pretty reasonable. I would give it 5 stars but they don't have the kind of bread I buy

Want a great sandwich they make them here!!! Go for a sandwich at least twice a week!! Great little family owned store only grocery store in town but honestly they have everything you need and a better supply than larger store in Antioch!!! So glad we have them here!! Staff knows you and is just as friendly as can be!!! Love my local Lira’s :-))))

love the independent local market. While it can't carry all brands, it does a great job in carrying all but the more unusual items on your grocery list. And they can deliver locally. Excellent fresh sandwiches too!Lira's keeps on doing what every independent market should do, they have great customer service!They will be open on Christmas eve and day this year!

Where is this located in a small town called Rio Vista? The prices are jacked up because of the distance to go to any other supermarket, unfair to consumers taking advantage of the elderly.

Lyras is great because it is the only game in town. Literally. No other grocery store in 35 minutes in any direction. Because of that, they charge 25% more than other stores and Walmart. If you don't mind the prices jacked up, ship there any time.If you can plan better, go where the prices are better. They have minimal options and will order it if you ask. But other than location and relatively nice employees, you might want to go where your money 💰 goes further and the options are greater.Just my 2 cents.

For the second time, I had to throw away Foster's Farms chicken drumsticks. Both times I had just brought them home and the dates were good but upon opening, they smelled really bad. Over $10 each time but not worth the 15 minutes drive back, so I took the loss. I won't be buying meat here again. Something wrong in handling like leaving outside of cooler too long.

Best last grocery stop before, camping, boating, fish, kite boarding, on the delta. They have a great deli, with sandwiches and salads. The staff is incredible hospitable and kind. The grocery store is a bit tight in the aisles, but they have small shopping carts 🛒.

I believe in shopping locally but for 3 months I have asked the Deli Dept. and managers to restock hand carve ham. Since they haven't restocked I am forced to out of town and spend my money there. While there, I not only buy the ham Lira's doesn't have but I buy all the other grocery needs at one time.

My go-to supermarket when I'm in Rio Vista. Good meat selection and everything else you need. Deli is awesome. If you love macaroni salad, get yourself some Will's macaroni salad...but they are all delicious. Plentiful parking and small floor layout inside the store so you can get around quickly.

Great customer service with an amazing selection. We really enjoy stopping by and getting some essentials. The people at the deli are always so friendly. We are new to Rio and are so happy to have a perfect little spot in town.

This is the only Basa they had left, on top of that, they want $5.89 a pound, what a RIP. Lil hole in the wall store in a small town with sky high prices. Not worth the stop

Great family run grocery store. High quality produce, excellent deli food, friendly and helpful staff too ! Yeah I wish it was a little cheaper, but I could say that about every store right now. But it feels better to give my money to a mom and pop type of place than a huge Corporation. Liras is great !

As far as I can tell, it's the only supermarket in Rio Vista. Luckily, the food is good quality and the prices aren't crazy. I discovered they have their own private label seasonings that are less expensive than the Name Brands. I will have to go back later to try some out. I pass through this town once or twice a week, but I haven't stopped often. Maybe I will next time to try out the deli
