I haven't been there in years since I was 15. And the place looks the same in the people. I respectful, and you still going there and buy exactly what you need. And not have to buy anything more and staff 100% respectful

It's a small town hardware store in a city now. It's not a large store but they have everything and they are friendly. I enjoy the going to a real hardware store instead of the big box Home Don't Know store.

The people are nice. But this place is so expensive. You could go to Home Depot and save about $10-$15. Just on one item. But because Home Depot is kind of far away and if I need just one thing I will shop here but anything more than that no way. I understand that they cannot compete with the big boys. But I’m not talking about that I’m just talking about the prices are just too expensive and that is the truth. Hope this helps you out.

This is a very good hardware store but at the moment I give it a low rating because we took our chainsaw them for repairs. They outsource the repairs and now neither of them know where the chainsaw is. It's been 6 months. VERY DISAPPOINTING

Bought copper pipe from them the 28th of January was charged 62 dollars and some change for 8’ of copper pipe. Cashier supposedly refunded me my 62 after I realized I was way over charged even for true value prices. Cashier processed a new transaction for 4’ of copper for 12 dollars and some change. Never got my refund for the 62 dollar charge so I paid 74 dollars for 4’ of copper pipe!

Honestly a very nice experience for a visit to your local hardware store. Employee Samantha was so great! Went above and beyond to help me with the supplies we were needing. Saved us a trip to Home depot for sure!I will be going there for now on for all my hardware needs. Thank you Sam! ❤️

Really disappointed. I was completely ignored by a male employee but my husband was greeted very nicely. Then the cashier didn't give us the receipt so we can't even check it. We've definitely had better experiences there.

It's a really good place for whatever project you have going on. They have a surprisingly amount of different things in their store and their employees are always more than willing to help you find exactly what you need.

The most homely, comfortable and enjoyable experience in a hardware store that you can possibly have! They even have popcorn and treats for your dog if you bring them along. Each employee takes their time to assist in your project needs and I find their pricing to be great compared to the big stores. You know that great feeling you had when walking into your local radio shack back in the day, because you knew that the guy there would know the exact adapter or part you needed for wiring your sound system? Well It's like that same feeling here for your hardware and materials needs, but better!

Been going here for most my life. Friendly people, if they don't have an item in stock or if it's an obscure item they will order it and call you when it arrives. If your disabled like me or just have a large order they will load it for you with a smile. It may be a small shop but they do a good job of making sure you get what you need are happy with your purchase.

I've been here a handful of times and everytime I walk through the doors there is always a friendly welcome and oddly a store assistant with a big smile, and kind words chaperone's me till my supply order has been filled... this is definitely a store that saves you time b/c they are so helpful and the bonus part is that they all appear to love their jobs ... i never thought I'd be saying this, but girl power, it's a beautiful thing, and I like it :) I say that primarily bc I've only seen females working there.

Knowing that is a very busy time of the year for gardening supplies I hate disturbing Rio Linda True Value Hardware but I was looking for Happy Frog potting soil. They were so nice, like I was the only customer they had, when I called them.

Worst costumer service, for my luck i was working around there and i had to use this store, to be told "do not touch that" when clearly im purchasing something to complete my job, doesn't help, not giving help when asked is a really big issue and i get it sometimes you busy but to be ignoreee ? Nah thats a totally, i dont wanna think that race was the issue but i totally saw how they treated the rest, i have money, you got what i need, can we make it simple and just damn sell it to me???

I purchased a new mower from this store in January and it fell apart a couple of weeks later. I returned the mower for repairs and haven't seen it nor have I gotten a phone call with updates since. I've been up there asking about my mower and get nothing but lies. Long story short they have problems with huskavarna so my mower hasn't been touched and I'm out 450 dollars and can't seem to get a straight answer from anyone. I would suggest that if you are buying power equipment from true value in rio linda, do your homework and double check warranty and return policies.
