This is obviously not a retail business. I walked in off the street simply wishing to buy a nasal cannula for my mom since Rite aid isn't selling them anymore. The lady wanted to know who the patient was and I explained she's not a patient or a client in their database, it's just my mom that needs a cannula. She then wants to know who our oxygen supplier is and why don't they provide cannulas. Well, SG Homecare is our supplier and they probably will bring cannulas but THEY ARE IN BAKERSFIELD, so that is why I'm in your store. Can you sell me a cannula or not? Who I am and who it's for are not necessary information for this transaction. NEVERMIND LADY, my mom will wait for Amazon. Thanks for nothing. Zero stars. But I can't post without at least one star so there ya go. Zero stars

I see a lot of very negative reviews. I have generally found the service to be acceptable. I don't go there for a social visit, so I don't expect them to be super friendly. I usually find that rude service is reserved for rude customers. I have to resist blaming them for the poor service of their suppliers. I've been waiting a couple of months for some replacement wheels. I called and they are on back order. It must be frustrating to do business with slow suppliers.

Very unprofessional and rude. Lack information to obtain equipment and blame on the doctors. They do not want to give out their names. The guy working there very Aggressive like he wanted to fight. Would not recommend taking your business here unless you want problems.

I have been a customer of High Desert Medical & Sleep Supply for a long time and have been satisfied with their service. However, I am severely delayed in getting my CPAP supplies from them partly due to them not understanding how to handle my secondary insurance. I am disappointed in them for this reason and because my communication with them somehow fell through the cracks. I may consider finding a different business for my supplies.

Have been waiting 3 weeks for a brace. Haven't heard anything from them. And when I called they can't find the paperwork from the doctor. Would not recommend at all.They lost my prescription from the doctor and even then tried to put the blame on me.I wouldn't spend money on the horrible business they run. There reply was again not taking responsibility for the lack of service they give. I understand why they are not recommended to use.

Bought a new wheelchair for my grandfather. The staff were very helpful in finding one that worked best for out needs. Businesses like this often only get reviews when things go wrong, so please take all the negative reviews with a grain of salt.

Poor customer service; no warm greeting when arrive in store. Zero to minimal knowledge of medical supplies. No return phone calls. This company should pay better wages to hire a professional, compassionate staff. None of us enter that store because we want to; our loved ones need their help.

I’ve been dealing with this place for a few years now. They’re the worst !! I’ve had many insurance issues and claims being denied for paperwork not being done correctly on there part . Supplies are outrageously overpriced and after waiting months to get supplies (cause I was buying my own out of pocket elsewhere due to the insurance problems I was having with them.) I’ve been sent the wrong supplies!! If you are referred here run the other direction.It’s bad business!!!!

This truly is a world class zero star facility, unfortunately 1 star is the lowest available rating which is an injustice to all the 1 star facilities and I apologize to them for being lumped in with this facility. They take top honors for the worst customer service, wait I misspoke there was no customer service. Had an appointment to get a CPAP machine. Arrived 5-10 minutes early the person at front was on the phone, two individuals in the back sitting at desks offered no help. Noticed that the lady in the back had a small dog hanging out on her desk which we thought was very odd and unprofessional for a place dealing in medical supplies. This said lady unfortunately was the one to help us and was very rude. We ended up just walking out. As we left the guy in the back starts yelling piece out, piece out bro, piece out I guess just to emphasize their professionalism. I reported them to my doctors office and they are switching to a different supplier.

I have started retaining cart loads of water. My Dr told me to start wearing compression stockings. I couldn't find them here in town. Hated the thought of Lancaster, and buying online. Well, I went to our little store here, and I was amazed! They had what I wanted, style, color. The price....fantastic. I'm on a very tight SS budget, and the purchase didn't hurt at all. Thank you for keeping it real. 💜😀

Came in on one of worst days of my life in sense of pain Girl at front desk sweet, man at back desk nice, however I had the unfortunate need to talk to SALINA. Sitting in chair she chose to tower over me and refused to process my prescription because Medicare doesn’t cover even though I have secondary insurance. While it may be Medicaid she states too much work to get denial. I told her she needed as management to have a little compassion for her clients and not be so aggressive she said she wasn’t so I asked my sister who agreed with me, so I asked if this was corporation or personally owned which she stated latter so I asked for number, she said she would give me Patrick’s card which I got no card what I got was paper highlighted of Medicare’s publication highlighted as after thought Patrick’s name written on top with number. Now doesn’t stop here, called Patrick who patiently listened until I told him I wouldn’t do business there even if it meant going to Lancaster and would let all friends know in which I found out where SALINA gets it from PATRICK said he didn’t need to here anything of what I wasn’t going to do SALINA was wrong but, at which point I let him know he may want to go to some customer care classes with SALINA. INSANE they’d be closed if it weren’t for the fact only shop in town. What happened to customer care?

This placed has shipped my supplies to the wrong address multiple times, their billing makes no sense, and when you try to call they and figure out what is going on - their internet is down! I am still waiting for them to call me back from a conversation we had more than a week ago. Stay away! You can find a place that appreciates its customers.
