Mely's is Ike the convenience store for pets they don't have everything but they definitely have the necessary items for pets like food heat lamps and housing. Definitely a cool little shop with great customer service. The atmosphere is really good but the parking can be kinda packed from time to time. Handicap friendly and easy to navigate.

Súper great service!!!! Best pet shop I’ve ever been in my life! Way better than other pets shops. Kid with curly hair was really nice and respectful he helped me out well. Would recommend going in Sundays when he works.Got my new hamster here which are super cool.

Love this place not as busy as a Petco. Get everything you need, super friendly, now my favorite spot! Dog food chicken feed bird food fair price like they do in Swapmeets 4 aisles piled high with products if you need something just ask they will most likely have it behind the counter great gifts for people with dogs big pig ears.

Great selection to choose from. However the customer service is not good at all. I didn’t even get a Thank you for my purchase today. Young man has a bad attitude. Maybe it’s time for a new job. Will look for a closer feed store. My parrot is happy that’s all that matter. Bird was not purchased at the location.

It had many supplies. It had fewer animals there than I expected. It is great if you just want a goldfish or a cool lizard, but I saw no puppies or kittens at all. 😕

Bought my son a hamster here - very fun place w lots of birds! They have fish, bunnies and hamsters too as well as rats! Great food selection and the guy we had help us was super nice and made sure my son had all the info he needed to start off!

I love this place!!!🙂🤗 Recently opened, it was recommended to me for a high protein pitbull specialty food. I have many other pets, since I first visited the store is the only place I shop for anything I need here. I love that you can buy rabbit pellets and bird food, etc "by the pound"...great costumer service..hablan español...some places they do🤐😒 but to pretend they don't understand if you ask something en Español, check them out.!!

The customer service could be better. The young kids working behind the counter don’t know how to greet or smile. I called once to find out if something was in stock and the call was forwarded to the owners cell phone, he was driving and didn’t have an answer.

Visited their shop for only bird food and walked out with a pair of conures. Lol The people there are professional and very polite. Geovanni was very helpful, gave me tips on how to care for them and was very welcoming if I ever had any questions. My favorite pet shop to visit, thank you. 😊

Called this place for price on some kibbles for my English bulldog. The guy who answered told me they did sell the kibble brand there at Mely’s pet shop. I asked him for the price and he said he didn’t know, with an agitated voice. He told me to go on the website to check the price. I hung up and looked up the website which they don’t have one. They have a Facebook which hasn’t been updated since 2017! I called back and he is now ignoring my call. Bad customer service!!!

First Off every time I come here No One Ever Says Hello, Kids always working here, I use to come here for Jumbo pig ears they had for $1.75 but today price went up to $2 each and are now half the size they were plus a $0.75 surcharge if using debit card which to my understanding is illegal in the state of California so Yeaah I paid $1 more for a pig ear 😒

The employees were unaware of our presence in the store even after I proceeded to say hello to the employees they did not respond or greet us my son is really interested in parakeets ever since he got 2 of them for Christmas now i don’t know who they think they are but the place was dirty and unkept let alone the bird cages those we’re the most unkept out of the whole store the birds were crammed together with no space to fly and even move around the only thing i think this place would be good for id if you wanted buy food for your pets otherwise you shouldn’t come here.

Great place to buy rabbit food I’ve been going there for 7 years already great people great customer service there friendly and kind and will ask you questions about what are you looking for if you seem confused about what food to buy for your pet I use to buy the 20lb of rabbit food now I buy the 50lb bag before I start running low. And it’s always excellent service every time .

Very helpful I went there today and talked with one of the people working there. An he was quick to explain what dog food would be best for my dogs for the moment. Since I've been giving my dogs cheap food for a while. He also suggested I should feed my pups according to the recommended serving size. Needless to say my pups loved the food I bought for them. Super friendly and humble people here and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.
