My poor dog ended up with a random abcess on his bottom and we didn't know what it was and everywhere we called wanted tons of money and a long wait list. I called this vet office since I just moved here to Redwood Valley and they got me in next day. They were nothing short of absolutely amazing to not only my fur baby, but to me and my daughter. Very attentive and compassionate, and most importantly for my little family right now, extremely well priced! He got examined, antibiotics, and pain medicine for an affordable price, something that would've cost me hundreds of dollars somewhere else. This is my vet from here on. Amazing staff, affordable service, and a great veterinarian! Thank you guys so much! :)

We normally take our dog to a different vet but our vat was unable to get us in we called dr. Plumbs office they got us in the next day took really good care of our dog Holly. She was in a lot of pain from a broken now and he fixed her right up. The staff was exceptionally friendly, knowledgeable, accommodating and very friendly. We are grateful for our visit and thank them very much for their service. I would definitely recommend this place.

I have been using Dr. Plumb for over thirty years. His staff is amazing and really cares about the animals. The only thing is he does not do chickens, but still was kind enough to make up some medicine for mine after she was attacked.

I changed to Dr. Plumb from the last vet's office, the Dr.was in. Surgery all day, My 14 year old fur baby (Dog Paco ), needed asap. appt. He was very sick, he was gentle with him and very knowledgeable. I 💕 the staff as well, they're ALL very sweet people. I woul d definitely recommend this place.. God bless you team for your kind ❤️.

Dr. Plumb has been my Vet since the mid 70s. He's been most helpful when I've had problems with my pet's. He's fair price wise, helpful with treatments. Specifically with my cat that had diabetes. He councild me over the phone and didn't charge me when he could have. I will miss him when he retires. Thanks Dr. Plumb you are a fine fellow.

I’m a veteran hog hunter and I use my dogs to put meat in the freezer if I’m lucky. It’s been almost ten years ago today and this dog is still alive today because of DVM James Plumb. My dog lost well over a pint of blood due to a wild boar nearly severing 2 major arteries and a 3hr trip out of town. I shoved an OB tampon in my dogs neck and made a okie turn etiquette for his femoral artery laceration. Long story short... I thought my dog was dying and would have to end his suffering, beings how it was so late in the evening and no vet that I called would even look at him. I called my best friend who lived in the area and gave him the news. His wife gave James Plumbs number as a last resort and not only did he answer and meet me at the clinic to save my dogs life after hours... I was his assistant and able to keep my dog calm while he worked on him. By far the best vet I’ve ever had ,tampon and all!

Very good experience with Dr Plumb and his staff. They got me in quickly with my sick 9yr old dog and I especially liked that Dr plumb wasn't quick to pressure me into unnecessary expensive testing!

My puppy got something in his eye. I called in and they were able to get me in right away. Dr Plumb was kind to the frightened pup. Then his skilled hands pulled a foxtail from deep in his lower eyelid. Thank you to the Valley vet team.

My son has a kitten name cameo whos eye popped out right before labor day and rushed him to Santa Rosa where the bill was so high so trying to call all around closer to home no place was open ,Dr plumb answered on labor day and cost was more than reasonable Dr plumb is the best doctor around and the nurses are the best so caring . Need more places around in our community like this ,thank you so much Dr plumb and staff !!!!! ALSO. Cameo is doing great with one eye
