Oh my goodness. Wag Motel is amazing!!! I wish I was a dog. They spoil your dog. Ross, my English Bulldog, went to daycare for the first time ever. My dogs never leave our side. I have lost my Scrappy 2 weeks ago and I need to go home. They were inseparable. So no this experience for Ross is a stressful one. He has to go to boarding which we’ve never done for any of our dogs before. So they suggested he go to daycare for a couple of times to see how he likes it and make sure that he knows we’re coming back for him. This place is amazing. You cannot smell dog or cat at all in this place. They treat them like royalty. And they are so clean that you could probably eat off the floor if you wanted to. If you need somewhere to put your dog or your cat, this is the way you should go. They have open door policy from 12 to 4 every single day. And they’re open 24/7 so say you have an emergency in the middle of the night they are there for you. They are just amazing. I can’t say enough. Thank you Wag Motel for everything you are doing for me.

My family is very grateful to have a place like Wag for our golden retriever, Barkley. The staff and services are terrific, and it is clear from Barkley’s excitement when he gets in the car that he’s looking forward to spending the day there.We have used both their boarding and grooming services and have been very pleased with both. With the spa services, the technicians just “know” how to best groom the dogs so there isn’t a lot of need for endless supervision from owners.I appreciate the pictures the team sends to me throughout the day of Barkley’s day at Wag. It demonstrates a personal attention to the care they are providing to him.

I have used Wag Hotels for many years with my previous dog and now with our puppy. The staff is always friendly. During my previous dog’s later/senior years, the staff would provide extra blankets for him when he stayed overnight.Recently our puppy stayed at Wag Hotels for the first time. He stayed for 2 days 1 night. We had to pay extra for specialized care because he is not neutered. I checked his in suite camera often. Staff came in and out, petted him and kept him company. I’m glad he received some one on one care. He was out of his room a few times during the day, which was part of the schedule. I also received daily pictures of him on the app. I recommend Wag Hotels and haven’t had a problem with their service and how they care for my dogs.

I love this hotel for Doggie Daycare! My dog gets excited when he knows we’re turning the last corner. He’s going to be boarded soon so I’ll know how he does with overnights. The staff is awesome, the facility is clean. The picture is what he looks like after a day of play!… He spent a week at Wags and it must have been a great experience as he didn’t want to leave!!

WAG has been great for my dog, Pia - she better at socializing with other dogs and comes home tired, which is great for an eight month old puppy. WAG's online platform is also super user friendly.Why I gave WAG Redwood City four stars is my dog is in the large dog area and she is more often than not is in an enclosed room all day vs outdoors. The small dogs have outdoor access a lot more than the medium/large dogs, which doesn't make sense to me. I have called and also spoke to the front desk personnel regarding Pia having more outdoor time.

My dog was a very happy boy when I picked him up. I enjoyed watching him playing with the other dogs on Wag cam. He had his nails trimmed and they did a great job for a reasonable price. Checking him in and picking him up was easy and fast. I will definitely be bringing him back for all day play and boarding. Thanks for taking such great care of my fur baby.5/1/24 Clarence had so much fun. Thank you for celebrating his Gotcha Day with us. I loved the pictures of him enjoying his special sundae. He came home a happy tired boy.

Ellie & Max enjoyed their recent stay at Wag hotels in Redwood City during our vacation from 4/11-4/24. They sent daily pictures of them so we knew they were doing well. In addition, they left me a message when one of them wasn't feeling well but they reassured us our pup was okay. We can always rely on Wag hotels to take good care of our pups whether it's a short or long stay.

We brought our own year old dog after she murdered a couch out of boredom. It wasn’t her best day but clearly she needed some exercise! They were so great we easing her and us in so everyone was comfortable! They sent photos since it was her first day! She came back tired and happy!

very friendly staff, our pup loves staying there and playing with his friends. The facility is very clean and the staff keeps you posted with cute funny photo updates and on the livestream you can watch all the pups play and staff handing out snacks and pets. He always comes back home with a big smile and ready to nap and we are happy that he is in caring and capable hands when needed

The Wag Hotel Redwood City is great!Every time I leave my dog Rocky he has a great time thereI see the care that they give the dogs and if you have to give them medication, they are in good handsthey really care about my Rocky!

We were encouraged to drop our Cavalier King Charles Spaniels off for day care prior to our boarding. I was very impressed with the care for all the dogs. Unlike other facilities there was no barking in the day care area. Attendants were quick to clean any urine or defecation. Place was spotless and no odor was detectable. We used the webcam several times throughout their visit.I was exceptionally pleased with their visit. Happy we have made our boarding reservations. My only question is why they don’t have a local phone number.

My cat is a very anxious high energy kitty and they made her feel as at home as possible! I got photo updates and was given a thorough run down of her activities and food consumption for the day. The wonderful workers at Wag Hotels made me feel at ease knowing they were treating my cat like family. Will definitely be boarding here again! :)

I have been taking my dog to Wag Hotel for several years. The facility is clean, no doggy smells or hospital smell. my dog is always very happy when I drop him off and pick him up. He is clean and smells fine. Other boarding facilities, I have tried and my dog will constantly cry and pull to not go in the facility. The staff is very friendly and greet my dog by name. Everyone on the staff seems to generally enjoy what they’re doing and enjoy working with the dogs. I have taken a tour of the facility many times, and it’s always very clean. I have no hesitation, leaving my dog with Wag Hotel. if your pet has separation anxiety, like mine does Wag Hotel is great with their private rooms.

Following the pet owners instructions to grooming is essential when working with a rescued pet. Every pet is different and my pet is sensitive about her paws. Groomers should improve on this. Or risk losing their license if they do not.Update: 10/20/2023 I’m going to be talking to their corporate office or the office responsible for their Redwood City Location. Instructions were not followed and they made my dog look like a rat! Very disappointing!Update: 1/14/2024Their staff is so rude, management doesn’t care if pets are abused, anyone who wants to bring their pet to Redwood City Wags should look somewhere else for the better service than Wags. I hope OSHA red tags them for the super lack of cleaningness.

I think Wags is the best in town. My groomer (Sophia) is great with my dog Bella who can be difficult to work on. She always comes out looking like a little princess. I don't have to worry about her being treated badly like I have experienced in the past with other Grooming Salons.

I felt confident my dog was having a good experience at the RWC Wag... the staff interact caringly with him when we check in, and they share anecdotes about him when I pick him up. I also like getting a daily picture by email and having the option of checking in through the play room cams. My dog has been there for day play, single overnight and now multi-day overnight.

I felt comfortable leaving my girls at Wag Hotel. I could view them on the doggy daycare cam and also staff sent me daily pictures. They seemed happy and returned to me in good care.

My somewhat timid dog likes to stay at WAG. The people at WAG are kind to him when I drop him off and pick him up. When I pick him up, he’s always in good shape. I appreciate receiving daily photos of him during playtime. Altogether, I’m really glad that WAG opened a facility at a location convenient to me.

Wag staff took good care of Honey while on vacation for a week. She needs 4 meds and extra care which they provided as well as all-day play. They also sent daily pics which kept us connected. After 7 days, they gave complimentary bath so she was nice and clean upon pickup.

My dog, Kezia, spent 5 nights at Wag Redwood City. She has been there many times over the past 6 years. She is older and almost fully deaf. The staff continues to be so great with her. The facility is clean!! I Will continue to take her there in the future.

Update as of April 23, 2024:The satisfaction of services continues to be spot on with WAG Redwood City!! My now 13 months old puppy gets so excited when I say "ready to go to WAG"!!! She is evolving and learning the routine before and during her All Day Play sessions. The after routine involves a lot of sleeping so she can ALL DAY PLAY next time!! I am so happy to see her thrive as she matures. I have a very happy dog thanks to all the Staff who care for her while I work. Great Team work and a true passion for animals 👏 thank you!!~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~My 11 month old puppy attends All Day Play small dog and LOVES ❤️ attending. The staff are passionate about her experience and provide an excellent understanding of how her days go to me. They also do not allow her to miss behave and have consequences when she does. She is learning as well as enjoying her time there. Perfect extention of her care at home.Recently boarded her and could not be happier with the facility, services and Staff.I added in a spa treatment for her and am impressed with the grommers too. The products they use left her coat feeling so soft and fluffy.Truly an all inclusive, quality care establishment! Thank you to all involved with caring for us!!

Pics of Huxley arrive in my inbox every time he gets dropped off. The environment is very welcoming, spatious, and fun for the dogs. You can see them through the big glass mirror where the Wag Adult Friends are seen playing with the pups. Definitely worth the money they charge.

Really great care for my dog during his recent stay. He was a bit picky about eating so they called me with an idea that seemed to help. Really appreciated that. I also really like the frequent pics they sent of him during play time.

I don’t recommend this place for all day play if you don’t like your love one being cooped up in a small room or kennel instead of playing all day as expected. I have been a wag customer in Redwood City for over a year for boarding, grooming and all day play. However, I have been noticed sometimes they placed my dog on a small room/kennel instead of keeping him free to play all day as I have paid for. I have never placed my dog on a closed room and I cannot accept it from a place that I was expecting freedom to play/enjoy his stay. After my complaint at front desk first time, it happened again. So, If they cannot keep my dog free to play at that location, the correct action was calling me to pick him up, and not placing him closed on a small room. I am very frustrated with that.

We have used this location a few times for week end sleep overs for our dog. They have always been very kind upon sing in/check out. They often send us pictures of our lazy dog being his lazy self. Very grateful for the service they provide.

The convenience, and ease, of drop off and pick up keeps us coming back as does the friendly and helpful staff, but most of all, and most importantly, our dog has always been looked after and well cared for. As an added bonus the live video stream allows us to see her running around and playing during the day, which is fun to watch.
