Very useful self service pet wash stations. Nice assortment of raw food and treats. Best of all, the employees are friendly and.. normal. The employees at the San Carlos PetSmart are always strange and overbearing at times, so I’m grateful for the exceedingly normal people that work here.

Came here as a last resort for some pet things I was looking for. I was greeted by a really lovely girl with an Australian accent named Val and she was the kindest magical employee ever. She asked what brought me in and what the highlight of my day was which I thought was so thoughtful. She set me up with some goodies (the closest thing I could find to what I was looking for) for my dog Wally and even shared a story about her favorite products at her store. As I was leaving she waved and said “you come back again, you hear?”This kind of customer service is amazing and made my day.

We got a puppy three years ago and have visited many pet stores. We highly recommend this Pet Food Express! The self wash your dog facilities is great. All the towels for you and a variety of shampoos to use as well as conditioners. The"Tie up to the wall" latches are a huge help to keep your dog safe and to not have the option to jump out and hurt themselves.

Great customer service! I usually go in here regularly as the staff is super helpful and the service is great.The other day, I went in to get extra things for a sick cat. Once the staff learned why, they walked me through the store, pointing out all of the things they thought might be helpful and useful. They were genuinely very caring and helpful, and went above & beyond.Excellent service! I'm giving 4 stars because, as a company, PetFoodExpress has stopped carrying a few foods that my cats have liked, necessitating the need to find it elsewhere. It's hard to switch foods with finicky cats!! I still go in for everything else, because of this store's excellent service.

Favorite pet store in the Peninsula. My boys and I are hyper-regulars here and we are welcomed every single time. Its one of those spots that has a great selection of products, excellent prices AND super friendly staff. One of my favorite pet stores! The staffing super friendly and helpful. Love the selection of quality products. Everything they sell is tested so you can shop comfortably knowing what you're buying meets a high standard. A typical weekend visit for me and my pup includes a bath at their wash station, and a quick stop by their treat shelves before heading home.

Wendy and Danny were extremely nice to me and my pup. Accommodating me in on Sunday at 11 for a dog wash. They fed my dog some treats and just overall gave me a pleasant experience. Have been coming here roughly a year, will be coming back for other washes and dog needs! Thank you guys for providing excellent customer service!

Staff is great! Very helpful and friendly. Deducted one star for the prices but the variety is good, depending on the type of pet and what you are looking for... There is also a self-service dog wash area for those do-it-yourselfers.

The buy 3 get 1 free standing deal is good for treats. The food prices can vary and you should definitely check the price online elsewhere versus the shelf price before buying.

Most of the people who work here are extremely friendly and social. They have a lot of high end type animal food and have a shower that provides 30 minutes of wash time equipped with different shampoos, a blow dryer, towels and a pretty decent size wash tub. It's 15 bucks and it's pretty well worth it if you buy 3 of the washes because you get a 4th wash free. Great location and wonderful staff. My dog loves the place and always makes new friends

The staff could not be friendlier and more helpful! I take my dog here multiple times a week just to let him pick a snack from the bulk bins, and they treat him like royalty every time! I've also used their dog washing stations (which are great), gotten a dog bed, all types of food, and raw bones. They have it all!

Love this place. It's small, but has a good selection of dog food. They have a pet wash. It's do it yourself for $18. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Plenty of parking too.

Love pet food express. If you buy like 2 or 3 toys you get another free, same goes with treats, and I'm always getting at least that many when I'm there. They also have a nice washing station to give your dog a bath. But my favorite thing is that they will replace or refund a torn up toy within 30 days of purchase no questions asked!

I returned to PFE with no receipt for food I had recently purchased. I was bringing them back because our dog had been diagnosed with cancer and was turning his nose up at senior weight control kibble. Not only did they take the food back, no questions asked, but they sent me out with a complimentary bag of some of the "good stuff" to sprinkle in with the food that we were making for him to make it more appetizing. It was more than customer service, it was kindness.
