Terrible experience for this to be our 1st visitI was overwhelmed as well as my dog. Very rude little patience chopped not cut my dogs hair. The hair cut was awful had to repeat myself several times also had to wait while they tried to fix the hair cut more than once. Upon initially checking in it felt like an interrogation not welcoming at all my experience sucked and definitely will not be returning. So if you are in need of grooming I suggest you go elsewhere

my groomer ended up arriving about 30 mins late to my pets scheduled appt. the other female groomer that came out, was very rude and dismissive. when i showed up to pick up my pet they charged me for the wrong service. they told me they would change it and when i paid, that wasnt the case, so i overpaid for a different service. plus the gal that rang me up didnt let me put my phone # is for my vital care points. sooooo dissapointed!

I have always enjoyed the service of Petco's groomers. Ceasar did an outstanding job with Destin this weekend. I am also a fan of Ivan as well. Ceasar made Destin look distinguished and handsome. Destin was boasting about the house all day!

Nick is great with our dog. He has been his groomer for 2.5 years. Our dog gets very excited to see him so we know he is being taken care of by Nick.

Worst grooming experience I’ve had. Made us come multiple times and no discounts or even friendliness was given for our inconvenience. When we returned to finish his haircut it was rushed and barely any hair was cut. Still had to pay for a full cut. Awful, terrible, will not return, go anywhere else.

First time grooming, front desk was extremely helpful. He let me know they'd be careful with my puppy because it was his first time getting groomed and I warned them that trying to trim his nails at my apartment was no longer feasible because he howled and vocalized too loudly (according to my landlord!). I made sure to mention that I wanted NO anal gland expression despite it being included in all baths, and it was not done (I knew this would be too traumatic for a puppy). I also bought the lavender calming add on and he clearly smells like he got the treatment. His nails were cut down and he looked like a million bucks. I am grateful for this petco grooming employees for making sure my puppy was taken care of and comfortable for his first groom. I will be back!

I filled out their online appointment form, type of dog, Shih Tzu, age, 16yrs, weight, 20 to 25 lbs. requested bath and grooming, got two confirmation emails, but when we showed up, groomer said no, dog is too old and has systs or tumors. We said, yea, her vet has removed two so far, benign, not a problem not causing her pain, she still hopping up the stairs at 16 yrs, but this groomer declined, and told us the online appointments are made by a third party and Petco is not to blame for any mis-communication. Kind of like a restaurant telling you the food is cooked elsewhere and brought in and its not their fault if you get sick. Poor business model, poor customer service, poor staff. they are killing their own business one dog at a time

My dog did not look like he was groomed properly. His face wasn't cleaned up, his paws were not cleaned up and looked the same as when I took him in. He didn't even come out with the little cute bandana around his neck. I was very disappointed.

Sophie is the only reason I returned to Petco because I had been a petsmart shopper. Sophie was incredibly kind, patient, informative, and friendly. I trusted her so much I let her surprise me with how she would give my dog her first haircut. I returned a second time to have Sophie cut her hair again. I liked the cut she surprised me with the first time so I asked her to do it again. I asked a question about dog training and I was immediately routed to the correct person to speak to. This is when I met Carlos who was also extremely informative and friendly. I decided that I can trust Petco’s employees so I immediately paid for private training lessons with Carlos. When I came back to pick up my dog, Carlos saw me and came to the grooming area. He told the employee he just wanted to see Jazzy briefly. I was not just another name on his list of clients. He remembered my face (well the half that was visible given my mask) and wanted a chance to meet the dog he would be working with. Carlos said goodbye and said he believes we will work great together (we had discussed some of the things I had already tried at home to house break Jazzy). Well done Petco! However you should have some signs near the grooming area to let people know you offer the service. If I had known that you offer training, I would have signed Jazzy up the first day I came to Petco for Jazzy’s first haircut.

Archer looks sooooo good! He was in a bad state after finding a thorn patch in the backyard and despite my efforts to stop him, he still goes there and rolls in it. Despite my best attempts to remove them, he still had some stuck to him and he had gotten matted from the scratching. The groomer never judge me for his state and gave him an excellent cut that will help prevent them from sticking to him for the time being. My Archer boy has never looked so good :D

I love how patient and caring is Sierra with my dog, Marco. Marco is a standard size poodle and I know the grooming can be challenging and overwhelming at times. However, I have complete confidence in Sierra, because she always do an outstanding job and my dog loves her.

At first, I wasn't sure which cut to go with because I how short I've tried to trim on my dog Corky to get rid of the matting. I went with F7 and I just loved how it turned out and Corky is very happy with her look!

My dog was injured and had a significant bump on his head when we picked him up from his grooming appointment. We were told that he bumped his head repeatedly in the kennel—to the point where he actually bled. This is unacceptable.
