I brought my Alaskan Malamute, a big big baby, in for grooming. he decided to take a leak in the store, I told an employee I would clean it up after dropping him off. When I returned, she had already cleaned it up. Unfortunately I didn't get her name. Usually I clean up after he is dropped off. JUSTIN is the only one I trust to groom my ZIKO.. Other groomers have done an ok job. Ziko is 177lbs and does not like baths and not easily handled. Thank you JustinJ

Horrible experience bringing my golden doodle puppy to the groomers at Petco. The groomer was ill trained and claimed that my puppy had aggressive behavior and didn't complete the cut demanding I still pay full price. My dog came out half cut, shaking, terrified from the experience. Spoke to management to get this cleared up and was also met with rude behavior. Will never be returning and would encourage no one else to come here either.

Our groomer, Cory at the Petco in Redondo Beach, CA is wonderful. We've been using Cory for both our dogs grooming for 10 years. We have never been disappointed. Cory handles our dogs with such care and love. Cory is also an exceptional employee, loyal, courteous, experienced and Knowledgeable.

My groomer was absolutely fabulous. She always has a good positive attitude and mannerism when she is dealing with her family as she calls her clients. The salon was clean both of the girls there were very friendly.

First of all, this is my 1st time bringing my dog here in this Redondo Beach location. Since we moved, this was the closest to us. The staff was unfriendly and rude at the grooming department. I asked if my dog was ready for pick up Bec i was promised 2-2/12 hours and my dog will be ready . I didn’t get a text which I normally get at the previous Petco I go to . This lady asked me who was my dog and she didn’t know who it was . She asked her colleague if there’s such name inside and the lady didn’t know . So this staff - Corey said we don’t have your dog . I said , that’s not possible , I dropped him off here at 10am and I repeated it twice to her. So she asked her colleague again and then she realized it was the dog she’s grooming right before she came out and talked to me . !!!! How can she not know the pet she’s grooming ??? Then with no apology , she said that my dog is not ready for an hour so she told me I can pay now and she will call or text me in 1 hour and I can just come back and show my receipt to pick up my dog . An hour and 40 minutes later, still didn’t get a call /text so I decided to go in the store and the very nice cashier asked me, why I’m still here and thought that I’ve already picked up my dog and also said “wow , he’s been here since 10am right ?” ( and this is already almost 3 pm ). He overhead page the grooming department for Ashley to call and she picked up and said that they were about to call me .?! The cashier apologized to me for the very long day and time but never heard an apology from the grooming staff ... I showed my receipt and this lady went ahead and handed my dog without telling me how my dog was or what they did . This is not my first time bringing my dog for grooming. I normally get a a run down on what was done to my dog ...Although my dog smelled good and looked shiny , I wasn’t satisfied how she cut my dog’s whiskers or face hair , it was still a little long... anyway, I am not going back to this place .
