Recently came over the weekend to get supplies for our family cat. And while shopping a lady on sales floor who looked like a trainer possibly asked if I needed help, which I did. She recommended a few things to help keep our cat sonic busy so he isn't attacking when he is bored. She had great recommendations. And also the cashier that rung me up was very kind and had a good attitude. I appreciate going into a store and being treated so well by the staff! So thank you! 10 🌟 's

This Petco store offers a wide variety of products. Although the parking lot is chaotic, the staff inside are all very friendly and knowledgeable about everything, showing great love and care for animals. Especially Elisa and Eric, their patience is like that of angels, never failing to please every customer. They go out of their way to help customers find everything their pets need and provide excellent service. If any issues arise, they are exceptionally patient in assisting customers in resolving them.I am not a big fan of Petco, as I mostly shop online, but the staff at Petco are just so friendly and warm that I now visit them every day for my pets, vets, grooming and pets supplies. I Just love being there!!!

I'm very unhappy with the assistance I've been receiving, which is false information. I've been attempting to rehome two Guinea pigs I bought for my daughter's birthday. For the past 6 months, I have been visiting and calling for help. We initially only wanted to purchase one, but we were coached into purchasing two. Although they're adorable, the maintenance is too much for 8 years to handle. My dissatisfaction comes from being lied to. I visited the location and they were completely sold out. I followed up via phone with management and she placed me on hold multiple times to come back and advise me that we are waiting on our shipment. I advise her that I have been trying to get assistance as promised for over 6 months.As a customer, I just require respect, ethics, and honesty. Because I visited the store pretending to buy one, they advised me that they had no clue when inventory would be restocked. Upon reaching home, not even within 10 minutes, I was informed that there was no space available for boarding. It was totally insulting because there was never a direct answer. I kept being placed on hold and given false information.Don't deceive your customers just to get rid of them..

Truly recommend this location for pets needs. My dog never had fleas before, so I went there for emergency help because I don't do bugs, and my dog is my heartbeat. I was recommended Advantage 11 and after giving her a bath and applying advantage. No fleas.

I don't come here frequently even though I have 2 kitties, but the service was great. I asked an employee for a shopping cart 🛒 because there was none, and she stopped ✋️ what she was doing to get me a cart front outside.. keep it up

I'm a first time dog owner and have a dog that was never given it's shots. I made an appointment online which was easy enough and I UNFORTUNATELY came in on the wrong Saturday (my appointment was for the following one) the check in staff was understandable and even squeezed me in right away! The docs giving the shots were friendly and patient with my dog, overall I had a great experience here! They weighed and did a check up on my dog as well, I couldn't have been more pleased stopping by, thanks everyone!

I’m a big fan of Petco and this one in particular because they always have the items I need that other local pet stores don’t carry. It’s also great that if your dog won’t eat something they will accept a return. When you have a picky eater that’s a major plus! There’s never a long line and the Redondo Beach location is close for me. It’s also right next to Vons, which is convenient.

Sunday Grooming team turned me away stating my dogs vaccination card could be fake and that he needed his rabies shot even though he was under 4 months. They have all the resources I needed there to get what they needed and instead of helping me with the information they just canceled my appointment. The worst Petco location I have ever visited and I have been a customer since 2020. I guess they just lost more business to Petsmart!

Location is conveniently located near a Vons AND In N Out. I usually come to this store for my reptile and fish needs. They seem to always be well stocked with the supplies I need for my smaller animals.

I've gotten wonderful service here, especially from Alex. She knows everything about everything and is always willing to help! The only reason I give 4 instead of 5 is because they don't seem to carry as many options for the specific dog food brands I buy (ex. "Merrick" and "I and Love and You").

Terrible grooming service and hidden fees clearly it says $61 each dog and this is WHY i made the appt after they finished the terrible grooming service they said $100 something each dog and both are small dogs also when I asked them WHY i am paying more she said oh he spent more time ! Well it is not my business if he spent more time or no you gave me a price online and thats why i booked the appt also they made both of my dogs NAKED literally NAKED now i have to buy them clothes since the weather is getting cold at night and they are shaking at the end also he provided me a different haircut style and after i paid they brought my dogs out and i was like WT* ! I am really NOT happy for the services at all i have been always a petco customer but this time i have to change their grooming place

Amazing I loved the service! I don't remember the girls name but she was so helpful. She recommended some dog food for my puppy and took the time to explain why it is good. So far this is the best experience there.

Not a great experience. This location needs more support if it is going to be packed. The register lines were long and there was only one cashier. She kept calling for more associates and no one would come. To top it off, she gave me a blank receipt. The register maybe ran out of ink and she looked like she didn't know how to fix it to print me a receipt. I asked for it to be emailed and she said she couldn't do that because the transaction was done. So I had her return the bag and redo the transaction and she still did not email me my receipt. She didn't even ask me to insert my card for the refund which makes me doubt she even bothered to redo the transaction so that she could email my receipt. By this time it's been 10 minutes with another customer waiting on her side. It made me feel pressured to just let it be. However, it is not professional to not be able to give me some sort of purchase verification. If the did turns out bad I have no proof of purchase.

This store doesn't even deserve one star. We decided to go into the store to look at the fish, reptiles, etc. As we start looking at the fish they sell there we quickly notice that there is lots of fish dead in different tanks.

Great place to get all your pet supplies...... critters large and small! They also have pet adoptions on the weekends. You can get small pets, such as little birds, fish, hamsters, mice, Guinea pigs,lizards, etc!

I have had a problem with literally EVERY order in the past 3 months, whether it's same day delivery delivering to the wrong place, my shipping order missing an item and me apparently being refunded without being notified, or a pick up in store order with half the stuff I paid for supposedly out of stock, but then I found some of it in the store. I'm disgusted

So i am here for puppy grooming service. So far, i would say the workers are nice and friendly. No one was around when i came to my appt at first but a guy acknowledged me pretty quick and took care of the papers. If you are here for grooming, expect to wait about 2 hours at least. I guess you can leave and they will call you when it is done, but i just waited at the store. I will see how well it is done and how my puppy is one it is done.
