This is the worst, only ever has 1 person working the pharmacy for the window and counter with huge lines at all times. Basically expect at least an hour for a prescription that is already filled just to pick it up. Should hire more people or only do the drive thru or the counter, not both.

Don't ever use this pharmacy. They are so incredibly slow that you will most likely recover naturally from whatever ails you before you ever get your prescription.Twice now I've used them because they are the closest to me, and given my particular medical issue, I can't see to travel very far. In spite of the fact that the medication they are giving me is already pre-packaged, and all they need to do is print out my sticker, drop the boxed bottle of eye drops in a bag, and staple my info to it. Somehow this takes from 4 to 6 hours.That would be like going into a store and asking for a bottle of Tylenol and they told you it's gonna take 4 to 6 hours to get it . It has never taken me more than five minutes to talk to someone, as there is never more than a single person waiting when I go in. Also never anyone in the drive thru either. So they aren't THAT busy.What takes so long? Your guess is a good as mine. But other places will get you your prescription infinitely faster than this place.I would also like to add that it appears as though nobody at the pharmacy even bothers to look at your prescription until you are literally in front of them, asking them what is taking so long. Then magically, all of a sudden, it'll be ready in 30 minutes! So there's no excuse

Worst pharmacy at Walgreens,i was put on hold for 35 mins i lost the call called back 15 mins hold ,what happened to good old American costomer service ,your costomer service is pathetic you dont have any system to run your pharmacy I really like to hear your lousy excuse .

DO NOT USE IF YOU ARE QUEER!! My wife is trans, and they regularly "lose" her estradiol + spironolactone prescriptions. And *only* those prescriptions. She's called them personally every other week for several months, and they always claim she never had those prescriptions to begin with (She's been going to the same walgreens for the same HRT prescriptions for 2 years). We're trying to switch her pharmacies now, but it's a difficult process for us.There is very obviously someone working there who hates trans people, and actively targets trans patients' prescriptions. DO. NOT. USE. THEIR. PHARMACY. They WILL discriminate against you, and they WILL purposefully withhold medication from you.

Terrible service, they will put you on hold for 15-20 minutes then hang up on you without even speaking to you. I know they are busy but jesus christ. The pharmacy people don't even know what most of the medication names are and it's annoying even when it's a common medication

I have never had our prescriptions ready to go when they called and told us that they were ready. We show up & wait while they fill it. I don't call that "Ready," do you? The staff is usually polite and always accurate but it is often difficult using the drive-through because anyone in front of you is also going through the "It's ready but not filled yet" shuffle AND because of the speaker interface. Ugh.DOUGout

It was great I had my scooter and we went right in and the doors are open everybody inside was fabulous help me with anything I needed to find which I couldn't reach I'm handicapped so I was in a scooter and they helped me out and move things around for me it it was very good and it was very excellent

Prescriptions will be delayed for a week with no explanation. If you call, you will sit on hold for 15 minutes and they will hang up without even talking to you.I am also nice and polite to the staff as I know the work very hard. However, they are consistently rude and impatient.I dread having to deal with this pharmacy

Brought in a script for a very common antibiotic. Was told it would be 30 min to fill. I waited. And hour and 15 min later I went up to ask if it was ready, was told no. Come back tomorrow, no explanation as to why it wasn't ready. I returned 24 hours later and the first tech tells me it's out of stock until at least tomorrow. I demanded an explanation from supervisor on why I was never told this until now and explained to supervisor how time sensitive this antibiotic was. The pharmacist came about 15 min later to tell me they were filling it now, the issue was the Dr prescribing it wasn't in the system. Why two different stories?? Never an apology or better explanation. I finally got the pills after another 40 min wait. After a $2200 hospital bill it is shameful to put people through this when it comes to picking up a medication that is necessary to resolve a dangerous infection. Very disappointed in the level of care, I will be using a different pharmacy from here on out.

Scheduled an appointment for my 5 year old to get her first Covid vaccine. Drove 45 minutes, as there were no appointments in Red Bluff, got there right at our appointment time. Waited 5 minutes as the pharmacist was taking with other families. He asked us if we had an appointment, told him yes.He informed me that they mismanaged their vaccine vial and they ran out. Asked us to reschedule our appointment, and I said no and got back in the car and started driving home. At 530, 30 minutes AFTER my child’s appointment, they call my wife to tell us that they cancelled her appointment because they didn’t have the vaccine because they mismanaged it. She responded saying that she knew, because we were there. One of the techs responded with ‘well, we didn’t know we were out till 430.’430… I was on the road, not far outside of Red Bluff and could have turned around and came home, wasting less gas then I did. So they waited an hour to call us to tell us. What a joke.

Pharmacy hours on Google never matches up with there hours always closing early. Most of the time they are rude. the calling system that says your prescription is ready is always messed up prescription is never ready when they say it is even when you call and speak with someone and they say ya your prescription is ready than you drive an hour and half to get there to get it and it is either not ready or they don't have a prescription for you.

Slowest pharmacy in town, drive thru especially. Literally get your prescriptions filled anywhere else. The pharmacists are painfully slow, without fail it’s a 20 minute wait even if they call you and tell you your prescriptions are filled and ready. Extremely terrible customer service from the whole team, if you can even call them that. Hate your job somewhere that doesn’t effect people’s well being, this place is a JOKE.

I was picking up a prescription for my daughter they said it would be a 15 min wait. I was waiting in line with no cars behind me. Then they tell me they will cancel my prescription, and send it back to the original pharmacy if I don’t move my car. In all the years I have been to a drive up pharmacy I was never told I needed to move unless other cars pulled up behind me.

I have to say I was pleasantly surprised again with the stellar staff at Walgreens Pharmacy in Redding at Court and Eureka Way! I went through the Drive Thru tonight and I could tell it was amazingly busy in both her drive thru and inside the store. Tiala was the young lady trying to multi-task with people in 3 different directions. Yes I had to patiently wait my turn. But I saw 4 cars behind me and was thinking this gal is doing the best she can and I was super stoked with her demeanor through it all. I told her to keep up the good work and you got this. Little did I know she actually took part of that time to pen this nice card. You are a Super Star Tiala!!!

I Called and spoke with 2 different Pharmacy Tech's and neither of them were helpful. Both were rude to me and told me they couldn't do anything. Angela and Lindsey can't do their job so why do they even work there!?! cut your loses and go to Owens, It's down the street and they're all polite there.

Pharmacy Technician Brian has been exceptionally courteous, efficient, knowledgeable, and helpful each time I have visited the pharmacy. In these days of typically mediocre customer service, Brian's great attitude and helpfulness stand out and make him a great asset to Walgreens.

This is the best Walgreens in Redding. Everyone in the Pharmacy are pleasant and not judgmental like say the horrid staff at Cypress. Every walgreens in this area should model after these fine people. The manager to the cashiers are great, way less drama than again Cypress Ave. Everyone i know avoids Cypress like the plague due to rude people trying to work above their education and pay-grade.

Poor management from district manager-Jeremy. Make many pharmacists stuck in this rural city and can’t transfer back to where they want live. He would selectively ignore if your message is related to transfer out of his district, which doesn’t benefit him. He would remove you from schedule without proper consent. Poor and miscommunication eventually led staff end up quitting the company.

I love this store! And especially want to say so today after shopping at Rite Aid last night. They were out of 3 basic items they carry that I needed. OK ...I also had a problem with the shopping cart with the pole on it...lol... Kept hitting the overhead signs in the isles and then... when I tried to wheel the cart outside it stopped me abruptly. I was pretty frustrated by the time I left. I'm ok today and heading to Walgreens this morning to see if they have those items I need. Just sayin

Some doctor in the North State area has killed people, so this place no longer fills any prescriptions with a certain Doctors name on them, Good! However, Walgreens takes it to the next level. The Pharmacist will evaluate your past prescriptions, call your doctor (who is not the same Doctor who is in trouble in this area)...then it is up to the Pharmacists own opinion to fill or not to fill your prescription written by your doctor. Because Walgreens Pharmacists must have an MD after their names, right?. No, no Pharmacist has the enough education to do this, if they did they would be making a whole lot more money and wouldn't be at Wallgreens You are not a doctor!!! Every other pharmacy in Redding is just fine to go to, there are some extra steps but as long as you aren’t shoving pills down your throat you will be alright. Save yourself the trouble and don't go to Walgreens.

Slowest Walgreens to get your prescription. Always an issue with waiting even when I'm the only customer in line. You guys need to talk with the lake Blvd Walgreens and take recommendations how to be more proficient.

Everytime I go into Walgreens on Eureka Way to the cosmetics department it is such a nice experience! The beauitful sales rep Nicole always answers my questions and fills me in on the newest natural products that I am looking for...She is extreemly knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. It would be awesome if everyone was as accommodating as her!
