Crystal E went above and beyond to make sure my dog Blue was comfortable. It was his first time there and he was especially nervous. He is very wiggly so he isn’t the easiest dog to groom and gets excited easily. Both Crystal and the dog bather were outstanding in making sure he felt safe and also did an amazing job grooming him regardless of him being nervous, he looks so handsome and I am so grateful for their amazing service. Thank you!

It smells so good in this store, they take good care of the store and animals. Staff are attentive to people checking out, but they have to ring a bell to get the attention of staff, which led to not getting the help I needed to find a new enclosure for my hamster. I gave up and left the store.

Bought flea/tick treatments (6) at 39.99 from locked cabinet. When opened at home 4 remained in the box. Apparently product can be returned and resold without being checked for missing merch. Have an associate check the box before purchasing.

Very nice store. It's brand new as of this review. The staff were friendly, the store was well organized, and the animals for sale appeared to be in good environments. It's a great location for a pet store in South Redding.

First time to Petco for my 13 year old Morkie. I booked the appt. online and chose the cost for type and weight. When I returned to pay, I was charged $85 with all the taxes and tip they asked for. Way to expensive. My dog looked ok, there was areas around his back legs that were missed and he wasn't fully finished, there was locks of hair falling off him when he got in the car. I feel the cost at appointment setting must match the price you pay, otherwise it feels like a scam. Won't be going back anytime soon.

Shame on petco. Went to see the new store. Have about 1000$ in salt water clown fish all set to die in the new tanks. Tanks not pre cycled. Fish clearly in distress. New tank syndrome was very present. I would expect more from a company who's slogan is animals come first.
