This places absolutely amazing. I gotta cute little collar and tag for my dog. And only cost me thirty dollars for both. Honestly, it was a steal. It's really fun to take kids there. Cause they can see all the cool fish and stuff. I would highly recommend buying stuff for your pets here.

nicole did such a wonderful job with my little one! she's so sweet and gentle, and really knows how to make her pups feel comfortable. I drove all the way up here from chico and I WILL be coming for her services regularly ❤️

I got helped the minute walked in,the nice lady helped us select are fish , and they are beautiful beautiful and healthy,and they have a 30 day warranty on the fish, hopefully I won't have to use it my fish are tame and colorful ,only issue i have is I want more 🐠🐟😊

We use their grooming services once a month. They do a great job plus my dog looks forward to it. I feel he thinks of it as a spa or something. He actually lets his groomer Emily brush his teeth. Something we can't get him to let even us do. Thanks for the service.

Great place. I get fish and snails for my community tank here. The lady who works in the fish department is so helpful and nice. Gives great fish advice too. I also get my fish food from here also. Got these Long Fin Zebra Danios last time I was there absolutely love them and they never stop moving. They look great in my planted tank and get along great with my other fish.

I love this petco. The grooming is great. I've had 4 different groomers and have liked each one. They always have what I'm looking for and the staff are nice. Sometimes they get a bit busy but the wait has never been terrible.

Crystal did an amazing job on my Sassy...I told her what kind of cut n even showed her a photo of an after grooming from a past groomer...when picking Sassy up I was very pleased...Sassy is a Terrier mix and I'm sure y'all know Terriers have that wild looking hair/fur and Sassy always gets a summer cut... it's difficult to find a good groomer that'll do a cut how you want...its upsetting to have to pay for something and they only did 95% maybe less of what you wanted...who woulda thot finding a good groomer for our pets would be just as important or difficult as us finding a good hair stylist...so I highly recommend Crystal @ Petco on Hilltop Dr Redding Ca

Unbelievably good grooming department. We literally just rescued two huge German shepherds that were dumped. They were filthy!!! These dogs look brand new. Thank you so much

We always love bringing our pups in to get their nails clipped, and to wander around and see what new cool things we can get for our fur babies. There are always helpful and happy workers there and our pups just love the attention they get!!

The store was very clean, and the employees were very helpful. I first called to check their hours, as it was Easter. an employee picked up and answered promptly. As I was looking to buy a hamster, an employee who helped me was very patient and assisted me in getting all of the resources i needed. The employees seem to enjoy their work and are ready to inform you on pet related inquiries! Decent pricing on hamsters for $25 (although some other supplies are cheaper on Amazon)!

I was in the store to get some fish yesterday and left empty handed. It was a late Sunday afternoon and the place was not busy at all. I let the cashier in front know that I needed assistance in fish department. I waited and waited and waited. Nothing, Nada! I finally got fed up and left. I won't be back. I don't know what is going on with businesses these days but it seems to be a pattern. They almost always treat you like you are an inconvenience.

Petco grooming dept never answers their phone. I just wanted my little dog Carlos nails trimmed and after I paid the one groomer that was working he told me to come back when there's 2 groomers. It took 3 weeks to get ahold of someone to trim his nails and they did a very poor job. So I went to Petsmart and the groomer was gentle and did a fantastic job. Kudos to Petsmart on Hilltop. 😁🐾

It's an ok store. Good employees and a big selection, but kind of pricey and they throw away a lot of slightly damaged merchandise that could be donated to help the local shelter or for food banks or other programs to help the less fortunate take care of their pets. I know pets are like children, and you shouldn't have them if you can't afford them, but poor people have pets, too!

Upon walking in, you can feel the down-to-earth, energetic, pet-loving atmosphere, knowing that the employees have your pets best interest and don't forget about the great prices at the same time.

Look at the one star reviews for this Redding, California Petco on Hilltop Drive and you find that there is no restroom for paying customers the two individual restrooms that a year ago said "Employees Only" now say "Restoom closed EmployeesOnly" go to either the Petco on Churn Creek Road which has two individual restrooms for their customers or go to Petsmart which has Restooms for their customers this Hilltop Drive location does not deserve one penny of our money

I love Petco. I love the way their customer service Representatives are so helpful , and have so much knowledge of different breeds of dogs, different types of reptiles, different types of cats when they host the feline adoptions.I think Petco is wonderful when they help shelter animals obtain adoptions. My dog uses a very specific German Shepherd mix dog food for her kibble and then we use fresh food along with that. I use Petco credit card every month to purchase it and then pay it off at the end of the month. It has helped build up my credit and it has also wracked up several hundred dollars in cash Rewards on my PetCo credit card.I am very grateful to Petco, they helped train my dog , they helped when she needed to see a vet, I belong to their vital pet care so I take my German Shepherd in to get her nails trimmed and her teeth brush , her ears cleaned often and it is free .I also take advantage of the 20 + 30% off of all grooming and the $10 credit they put back on your account when you sign up for Vital Rewards. I highly recommend Petco and I highly recommend their vital Rewards Club.

2 carts for the entire store. For real. It's a pet food store! Not sure how my 80 yr old mother is going to lug 3 jugs of litter, a few cases of cat food, treats, and a 20 lb bag of dried dog food to the checkout without a cart! They blamed the homeless but went to Pet Smart immediately after I left and they had literally dozens of carts outside the store.

Petco has a pretty good selection of pet foods etc some of the Employees are very helpful/ knowledgeable always friendly and my only concern is that Petco doesn't properly educate or have up to date information on products and Pet's mostly in the Reptile Amphibian department?

My husband and I just went and bought 2 Guinea pigs from here today. We weren't too sure of everything that we might need as my husband hasn't had one in several years. We asked the staff, who sent a very kind lady our way. She was very knowledgeable about them and knew the exact things we would need. She happily assisted us in choosing the correct cage, food, and even the Guinea pigs we decided to home. When we went to the front, the rest of the staff was just as friendly. The cashier was very friendly, and got us signed up with their rewards card to save a few dollars. As we were about to leave, another employee inquired as to what pets we had bought today, and knew who they were, and seemed happy they finally got a home. I will definitely be going back to this store for all of my pet needs, and wants. They are fantastic.

I went there today because my cat had special needs. My cat has pancreatitis. One person helped me, and all of a sudden there was 4 looking for what my cat could eat that would help her. I was impressed and very happy with the amazing teamwork and knowledge of the products. They were nice, professional, and took the time to assist me! Thank you Petco!!!
