Realized I forgot some things while road tripping and camping with my pup. This shop was very organized and able to help with almost all I was missing. They had nice lighted collars, a great selection of treats, and frozen chicken necks. I was hoping for a travel bed (Chuckit makes a nice one), but they didn’t have any. The gentleman working was helpful, though not particularly friendly. That said, it was a positive experience overall, and I would def go back.

This is a fun little pet store. The only one in Redding that I know of that has both that has a bakery for dog treats. The owner was there and seemed extremely nice. I was there 10 or 15 years ago and there Was a is dog trainer there. Give me a few tips on how to make my dog behave. I guess treats are the motivator in any dog's life, And most humans as well lol

These guys are phenomenal❣️Will NOT go anywhere else for Pepper's needs. They absolutely saved our girl's life. We had literally spent years trying to figure out what was causing her to itch & lose her hair. We bought expensive dog food, salves, meds, etc. that we thought would solve the problem & it only made it worse. We finally discovered that she could not have peas, in addition to several other things that are common in most dog foods, that 'claim' to be healthy. Forever grateful‼️ They are always helpful & upbeat & very accommodating to our not-so-well-behaved psychotic pup😁. Pepper & us love, love, love this store❣️

Excellent establishment! I buy my dogs food exclusively from them. I love their rewards program. Buy 12 bags get the 13th free. Super friendly staff. Knowledgeable, and seem to really care about animals. Great product selection. A forever customer.

We travel on our motorcycles with Conner here, and had a mishap with his food. The employees at this store were just AWESOME! They carry our regular brand (only place in Northern CA we could find that does). We did not have room for even the smallest bag of our regular food and only needed enough for overnight and we could be home. They gave us samples of our regular food! We did buy some of the amazing natural snacks, but were not made to feel like we had to at all. Wonderful, knowledgeable staff, a fantastic place!

Absolutely amazing and they really do care! I had purchased a flea collar for my cat not reading the box. I opened it to put on my cat when I smelt it, I knew something was wrong. Finally reading the package I realized it had peppermint oil which is poisonous to cats! I went back to just let them know and they gave me a refund even though I had completely opened it! Super thankful since I’m on a fixed income while receiving chemotherapy. So thankful for them and I will continue to shop there but be more assertive. Shame on the distributor for using toxic ingredients!

After our bloodhound started having many skin and digestive issues my husband was looking around for an affordable but quality dog food. He found Happy Tails and not only were the large bags of dog food around the same cost of big box store competitors, but Happy Trails also offered a punch card. So after a certain number of bags (10 I believe) you get a free bag. We were so happy to find somewhere local to purchase from. The staff is also very knowledgeable and usually would offer trial sizes of products like All Natural Flea and Tick Spray, Whole Fish Treats for our dogs, and various other small goodies. They really are a wonderful store and we enjoy the peace of mind of knowing we are giving our dogs the best available, for a reasonable price.

Friendly people, and great products, was able to sample the food before we buy it. Love that there is treats for both my furbabies, big and small. Plus got some nice essences for my pup with heart problems for very good price! Love this place will definitely be coming back.

I have an absolute responsibility, to my four Japanese Chins, to feed them the best that I can. I know and continue to trust that Happy Tails Barkery & Pet Supplies monitors all the foods they sell from their store to be healthy and of the best quality for my dogs. They are the experts, they do that thinking for me. :-) That leaves me more time to love on and play with my adorable pets. This pet boutique is wonderful. It has dog food that you will not find at the big box stores. I feed my dogs a high quality dog food that I only find here. They have been so great to stay open at this most difficult time. You can place your order online and pick up at the store or they will deliver to you if you are close enough. I will continue to shop here for my pet's needs.

Recently changed to this pet store, used to go to big name petco and petsmart!! The reason for change is because of my German shepherd who needed special food and supplements for hip problems! Will not be changing pet stores anytime soon due to the amazing and knowledgeable staff, affordable pricing. Especially Seth who works there will help you to the best of his knowledge and ability with the upmost professionalism and the most caring! They love animals and it’s not hard to see! I went in to get a new dog food Seth and Xanna were both very helpful. Seth gave me samples which included many flavors and brands and asked me to try them on my dogs. I went home and my dogs loved all the choices Seth gave me. Two days later I went in to buy the food and both employee's were very knowledgeable because my dogs we're itching so badly. They sold me special shampoo to help the itching and the food change would also help and it did my babies are feeling better now. Kaitlyn told me about their buy 10 bags get one free and she cut out the proof of purchase for me. They were both so helpful I will definitely be going there for my dog food prices are reasonable. Amazing place, they know their stuff. They employ a veterinarian and she is also very good at what she doess. This isnt just a store its a store locally owned that cares about the animals that they provide for. Among their great selection they have things you wont find anywhere else!
