Most of the shelves were empty. No grocery carts, although I know it's because of the homeless population in Redding. Cashier was pleasant but not overly excited to see anybody. Maybe I go back. 🤷‍♀️.

The reason for this rating being so low was due to the way they treated me at the register upon my exit, making remarks as to if i could actualIy purchase the items i had rung up. Caused by my cards having a malfuntion with the reader. Just as though I almost walked away the transaction went through and boom.... wow I paid for my items thanks for the warm steriotyping garbage. not an actual skill set to use in a proffetional setting in which ethics would dictate the adverse treatment ofcustomers. I must confess briefely I felt both insulted and just upset and the over moral decline in our moddern culture. Other than that seemed as though the items where mainly double faced with the exception of empty packaging on the random shelves due to theft......Thanks Sincerly: Not a return customer.....

This store has so many different things you can buy. But it's location has it where so many homeless come in and you most likely will see someone stealing items. The store is usually in need of cleaning, I once was in line to check out and turned around because a conversation was going on behind me and the man only had a shirt on he apparently was apologizing and I saw his friend running out of the store yelling im going to get your shorts buddy! Fortunately his shirt was long enough it didn't show anything, the poor man was obviously embarrassed and had a disability. It was the strangest trip to a store, I've been back many times I did feel bad for the guy he had just forgot something that morning, his pants!

Everything was good, the staff there is so friendly and great customer service. The manager stayed visible and interacted with customers, and he jumped right in when the line started to get long, and moved things along quickly. Thanks i have been to other dollar stores in Redding and the employees are not polite at all. They seem to always give me the impression that they hate being there and i am bothering them if I ask a question. I have never encountered that at this location. Good job management, as well as the great team you have there!

The lady Cashier connected with every customer with kindness and support on a super difficult day in our community due to fire. She was a comfort and blessing to everyone! And, I found what I wanted at the best prices in a well stocked store.

Everything here you might expect in terms of their products, is on point. However, the customer service here is unparalleled. They always have a positive attitude, despite how many customers that might want to be difficult or create a scene... And there are many unfortunately. Still, I promise you will feel safe and respected while shopping in this store.

Booked it there in record time before closing time on my bike and made it there with 12 minutes to spare. Staff is always friendly. I even had time to pay it forward, the couple ahead of me was short 13 cents. The cashier still charged me for a bag though. Leaving the store, I had to crack my bike lock cause somehow I changed the code when I was fumbling to lock my bike up because I was tryna rush in the door.

Very nice cashiers. Selection of goods is typical for any "dollar store" type of store. Do not leave items in plain sight in your vehicle. There are often people "loitering " nearby and I know more than one person has had their car broken into while shopping.

I've always liked this dollar tree. They always have a decent rotating stock of things you would be surprised to find for a dollar and their generic, and always available items, never disappoint. Whole boxes of cereal, boxes of pasta, and brand name cans of soup for a buck. Can't beat that. They even have a decent selection of electronic appliances. Check it out!

All dollar stores are not created equal. The worst are poorly stocked, messy and filled with low quality, cheaply made products. The best offer a wide variety of food and home items at great prices. This one is one of the better ones with many name brand items at value prices. No need to wait for sales or clip coupons, it's always a dollar. I recently purchased a pack of plastic hangers, two bags of name brand candy and some assorted cleaning supplies, all for $1 each! My only complaint is that aisles are often blocked by stacks of boxes waited to be put out.

Great big store with alot of snacks and household products for a dollar, how can you go wrong. Never to busy and plenty of parking, very laid back shopping experience. Hit or miss on expecting certain items, but always find something that I need, otherwise would of been five stars.

Just about the only dollar store I shop at in Redding because the management is great & very friendly. I've witnessed first hand how they treat the elderly that live in the area with great respect & kindness, like helping them carry their bags to the car, ect.

I think this is the largest Dollar Tree in town and has a larger selection of items than most of the other Dollar Trees. However, this location has declined in its maintenance... It is no longer my preferred Dollar Tree location.

Clean, staff all wearing masks, offering handsanitiser. Friendly, helpful. Finally this summer they are using the air conditioner. All in all the only dollar tree I'll go to is the one by San Francisco Deli.

During the Carr fire, I went in to the Dollar store to get some water and a few other supplies, the vents were blowing out hot air. When I asked why they had the heater on the reply was the heater is not on but there is Ash in the pumps and it clogged it up. So I had to ask why not turn it off at the source and the reply was we called somebody this morning and they haven't been out yet. Way to look out for your customers. It's Redding, it doesn't need to be a 111 degrees in the store.

Best, most stocked Dollar Tree I've ever been in. The Manager obiously loves his job ad takes special effort with EVERY customer , regardless. Five stars!

I give this store on Athens a low 2 because store looks & feels very dirty. I understand that maybe lower income people shop here, but the no excuse for not keepung up with cleanliness. Floors are disgusting!! It looked like there were things spilt all over the floors, or vomited on. The carpet, the vinyl area, etc. Good prices & some neat things, but it needs some good cleaning.

Looking to come here to save money? You've almost found the right place. You'll have people that work minimum wage tell you that youre a second class citizen. Forget about this store if you have any body mods. Actually, don't forget about it. Just sue them, or buy their store and fire them all. It's probably barely a 500k a year gross store. I used to sell these lol. This is from r this store specifically, not the company.

It was kind of upsetting because there was only one cash register person and one lady was very upset about her attitude toward her when she asked a question when she came in she come down and we had a good conversation and I was a customer that I was talking about the customers it turned out to be pretty good after all but they need more checkers

going on road trip stopped for some snacks. My kids have used the store for a few years now walking over from their school. We love it.
