Conveniently located right off interstate 5. Easy to find and Is it access. thing about big five is all their stores are merchandise the same way you’ve been in one you’ve been in them all. And I really can’t beat big five for selection of shoes and their prices. That’s where I’ve been buying my shoes for the last 20 years. Unfortunately on this trip it was a little enduring as the help Had a hard time finding my shoes and sizes. I kind of felt sorry for the shoe staff because they’re either short staffed or overwhelmed. I eventually got what I needed and headed to the register where I stood in line for 15 minutes with just one cashier on duty. But the bottom line is I got what I needed and at a good price.

I was greeted coming in the door, which is always nice, but finding someone on the sales floor to help you is impossible.I had to walk back up to the front of the store to ask for help in the shoe department. The young man who helped us was very patient and nice once he came out!

It’s very difficult to find shoes in my size I wear 15 W and they had three pair to choose from. The attendant to the cashier very nice and helped me with the shoes. I like shopping at Big 5 in general. They have lots of things that are great for games or back packing camping.

The Big 5 in my hometown always has what I need but the last two times I came to Big 5 they just didn't have what they normally carry. It's a small store and their inventory is meager

Big 5 has fallen so far from a decade ago. The service and the selection are just awful. They should just give up at this point. You can get everything in that store online faster and cheaper than this location. They should just close this place because it's a dead zone now. The service really has the biggest impact. There is none. The people make the experience, and the people are just dead inside, and it shows. The selection is toy store quality. The inventory is dead. I may have seen just a few items that were good enough to buy. But like I said everything in that store you can by online faster and cheaper.

It was one of the worst shopping trips ever. There were no employees to be seen in the store for about 5 mins. One employee came out of the back of the store. He helped me find the item I was looking for. I had lost my coupon for the item. He said he would let me have it at the sale price. A woman came out and offered to help me. I explained what the other person told me, and she said no, that was not valid after Black Friday. The other employee tried to explain it was, but she insisted it wasn't. I was dumbfounded that she was being so rude. I stated that I planned to talk to the store manager, which she said she was. I left and went home for the ad, which showed the sale price was valid thru Sunday the day I was there. I went back to the store. She came out and rudely stated she would refund me. She was rude and well snotty about it. I won't go back to the Redding BIG 5!!!

Customer service here is horrible!! The manager was going to make me wait 40 minutes for one of the employees to get back from their break before helping me with ammo. I was traveling through and didn't have 40 minutes to wait before being helped. I don't recommend this location

The best place to buy shoes. I got a pair of 160 dollar shoes for 50 bucks. Nothing wrong eith them they were just marked down. I'd go here first to find what you're looking for

Interested in their shoes on display. I found one pair I really liked and needed size 11. They had none, not even in a shipment just arrived. Also tried in Redding. Same situation. It's been 2 weeks and still nothing.

Great place for almost anything sports and outdoor camping etc. I shop there for my shoes quite often. If you shop Safeway look for the coupon on the back that gives you a $10 off purchase of $50 or more (not $49.99) at Big 5 You will have a great deal besides a good product.

Big 5 is a wonderful store. They have some of everything. I went in for some inexpensive shoes. They had several styles that meet my needs. And my size, 12. I took a quick look around, and they have a little of everything. The guy who helped me get my shoes was fast and friendly. 5 stars for Big 5.

These people do not know the law of buying ammunition. Waste of my time. I’ve had many other bad experiences with big 5 so this will be my last time that I go to big 5. Pull out a law book, you don’t know what you are talking about

For the past ten years or so I've been buying my shoes at Big 5. Always remember to check their Sunday and for specials. I picked up a nice pair of Skechers today with Memory Foam soles that had been discounted about $25, so win win for me. I had great customer service as well, with the clerk happily checking for different sizes and colors of shoes while I was making my decision.Of course they have all sorts of sporting equipment, clothing, camping supplies, knives, guns, and ammo. Be sure to check them out!

Already showed my ID to buy a knife to an employee another one who wasn’t even helping asked me for my ID and when I said oh I just showed that guy my ID she said I don’t believe you and then when I went to pull it out she said “or I can just refuse to help you” and I said if that’s what you want I don’t think I did anything though I and she told me because I was shaking my head when I got my ID out. Rude person. Terrible customer service.

Overall Big-5 is a great place to shop, my review is about there parking lot. Between Big-5 and there neighboring Business a gas station, there is a cement divider( estimated size ) 6 in tall x 6 in wide that comes off there curb and extends out at least a car length, we parked next to it and as we left big 5 my wife had in her hands larg bags we bought a lot that day, it was dusk and as she was rounding the front of our car you step off there curb, head towards your trunk and turn in to grab handle and she tripped on that curb/ divider is so low and hardly marked with paint, she tripped and went down hard. It should have a railing that extends up to make it visible. And reflective safety tape. And as I remember the lighting was very poor right there . Nothing against big- 5, but in my opinion a big design flaw that should be delt with.

We really like Big 5; our son is 14 and goes through a pair of shoes every three months or so. The last few times it seems like the service in the shoe department was a little slow, but you can't beat their prices

Big 5 has been around a long time. I always used to buy my tennis rackets and tennis shoes and things like that from there they and my goggles for snorkeling. You can always find good sale items. The employees are great people and very helpful. 👍👍💖🐾

I'm a bargain hunter and I can't lie. Great place to buy my work shoes at and sometimes I find really good deals on other sporting goods. It's like the Ross of outdoor equipment.
