I'll come back some day to add a review of the hot tub, but for now can say the purchase and installation experience was excellent. Gene and his team are great, they hauled away my old hot tub (it was a mess) with no complaints and expertly installed our new one. Gene took the time to walk through the operation and maintenance of the new spa. While I'm sure I'll have more questions for him (I like to tinker with things and set them up exactly how I like them), it was clear that Gene takes customer service seriously and will be available.

Our experience with Gene and his wonderful staff was superb! We got a great hot tub at a great price, but having Gene assist without pressure made the experience awesome! He also spent a morning installing our tub and showing us the ropes. This is what makes the Hot Tub Place the best in the area. Seriously, you would be foolish not to check it out if you are considering a hot tub. The Bull Frog patented jet pack system makes switching out seats with varying jets easy. We absolutely love our hot tub and highly recommend Gene and his staff!

Wanted to take a little time with our new “Christmas present” before I wrote this review. We are extremely happy with the support we have received. As we were Not home when the spa was delivered and set up … we missed the instructions that I’m sure Gene would have given me. I have relied on phone calls with Leslie, Wendy & Gene to walk me through set-ups from 30+ miles away. When we had a very low amperage fuse blow two days before Christmas – Gene was out to the home early on Christmas Eve to make sure the spa would be ready on Christmas morning to enjoy. His shop is in Rancho Cordova, and we are past Poor Red’s up here in El Dorado! Thank you all for all of your support. We have enjoyed the spa almost every day since – mornings and nights!

We just purchased a Bullfrog spa from Gene at the Hot Tub Place in Sacramento and the whole transaction was so smooth with no sales pressure. With this design of spa, there are different jet packs that are available, so how do you to choose? Well, they invite you to come to their showroom, where they have a spa all set up and you dip in the spa and try different types of jet packs, so you can make an educated choice. That set them apart from anybody else we looked at. Gene guided us through the whole process, assisting us with getting an electrician to hook up the 220 volt line necessary for the spa. Gene came out himself to hook the spa up. I recommend that if you're looking for a spa, consider the Bullfrog, the jet pack system sets them apart. And Gene was great to work with!

Highly Recommend Hot Tub Place of Sacramento. Just so there is no confusion it’s the one off of Sunrise Gold Circle, Rancho Cordova, CA and you will be greeted by the sweetest Dog Vinnie. ( I hope I remembered his name correct). Working with the owner Gene was such a pleasure. There was no sales pressure, super friendly, informative and top notch service. I bought the Bull Frog Spa X Series and we love it. He provided on time free delivery and I even got a call a day before to confirm the delivery. My Electrician didnt provide enough length power cables and Gene was right there to make it happen at no extra cost. That is services and care beyond expectations. I have attached pictures of our tub. if you are looking for a Hot tub... Outstanding satisfaction throughout the process. We have owned three spas prior to purchasing our Bullfrog spa. Although Bullfrog spas are little bit more expensive, their quality of craftsmanship and functionality far exceed any pricing issues. The Hot Tub Place of Sacramento had an excellent array of Bullfrog spas and available options including, but not limited to, color, (exterior/interior) size, and the multiple jet packs available. There was zero sales pressure as we browsed about the store making our selection. Delivery was easy and as was the set-up. This business met and/or exceeded all of our expectations. Bullfrog is a tremendous product that IMHO out performs any and all competitors.

Gene is the nicest guy, he keeps you up to date on your product... And the product sells itself! You walk in the store, and of course it's a family owned place because the dog is hanging out at the store! There are lots of models on the showroom to test out, but it's the customers in the store that provide the best testimonials. Gene politely let's you know he is around for any questions, and the customers surround him talking about their Bullfrog experience like he's a rock star. For delivery, Gene and his staff helped us take down the fence, professionally installed it, and gave us a care package to get us started with a new hot tub. After, he helped put the fence back together--customer service from beginning to end, but honestly felt more like an old friend coming by to check out how he can help. All in all, an exciting adventure looking, buying, learning, and experiencing our Bullfrog hot tub, and would highly recommend Gene and his place for anyone out there just wanting more information, or want to just dive right in!

We ordered the hot tub late last year and it's been installed for 1 month. The owner of the shop, Gene, kept us updated on the delivery status. Prior to install, he promptly helped w/ multiple questions I had about electrical connections, leveling questions, and other requirements for installation. He delivered it, installed it, set it up, gave us a starter set of chemicals and gave us instructions on how to care for our new hot tub. We've used it every day, 1-3 times per day. It's great first thing in the morning and last thing at night. We're absolutely loving it and it's totally worth it.

Took us several months to buy a hot tub by being turned off by the used car salesman approach and just not trusting what we were being told. It's been two months with our Bullfrog spa. No question we bought the best choice (love those jetpacks). Gene and Wendy were honest and had a no pressure approach. I guess going there last made us feel we got to the right spot. You can’t go wrong with getting a Bullfrog! Purchased mine a few years ago and everything has worked perfect.Gene took great care of us from start to finish. After setting up he noticed the cover had a slight tear in the fabric. He said he would order another cover. I told him it was very minor and not a big issue. He told me if I changed my mind and needed a cover in the future, just let him know.A few years had passed and I noticed that my cover had started to leak.I called Gene and figured he probably wouldn’t remember me. We started the buying process of our Bullfrog Spa November 2020. From the beginning Gene was upfront with the process and extended timeline anticipated to be June 2021. We were provided an electrician referral who provided great service and installed our dedicated spa line. In May Gene contacted us to advise that the delivery would be pushed back until August 2021. We appreciated the timely communication from Gene and delivery was set up for a Sunday morning in August. Gene arrived on time to install the spa which is always appreciated. Gene navigated our landscaping and furniture for a smooth install. Gene conducted the initial set up and thorough review of the spa chemical and maintenance schedule. Gene provided simplified written chemical protocols and maintenance instructions to simplify our process. Gene stayed until all our questions were answered. I do not normally write reviews, however, Gene deserves it because he has been absolutely fantastic. Gene is just a nice person who is helpful, honest and follows through with what he says. The Bullfrog A8 we purchased from him has been really great with no problems, one of the best purchases we have made. Many of our friends with other tub manufacturers have had nothing but problems. We did an in-depth comparison with every other tub brand in the greater Sacramento area before purchasing and after all the research, Bullfrog came out on top. Our family and friends use it all the time and everyone loves it. Knowing what we know now, we would not change a thing. We would buy another Bullfrog from Gene without hesitation.

We've had our A8D hot tub for about a month, and we enjoy every minute we're in it. We looked at several other brands of hot tubs before settling on the Bullfrog A8D. We came back to Bullfrog because we like the concept of interchangeable jet packs, (so we can configure it the way we like it), the two lounges, the energy savings and the solid construction. It was a great purchase, and Gene, the sales manager, kept us informed throughout the purchase, delivery and setup processes. Can't thank him enough for his help and advice.

If you want a hot tub, go here. Gene is the person you always hope to work with and buy from. Honest, helpful, punctual, responsive, and no pressure. From ordering to install and answering questions, he has been great!There was an issue with one of the jet packs and he responded immediately. Gene ordered and replaced it with no hassle. He even added an extra something.The spa took a long time to arrive, but Gene was up front about the wait time and provided updates, even offering to cancel the order because of the extended wait. My wife and I have owned 4 different brands of hot tubs and Bull Frog has been the most reliable one yet. Gene at The Hot Tub Place of Sacramento did a great job in delivering and setting up the hot tub within the time frame promised. Now we have had our tub for two years and only two things have gone wrong and that was with the after market stereo system put into it. Gene has been amazingly quick and positive when responding to the problems and he even covered the cost. We live about an hour away from their store, but that does not stop him from coming out or mailing what we need. Thanks Gene for making our hot tub a relaxing experience.

Awesome Service!! I purchased my Bullfrog about 8 years ago and absolutely love it!! I recently had an issue with the heater. I called Gene at Hot Tub Place of Sacramento, and to my surprise he came out the same day to take a look at it. He quickly diagnosed the problem and informed me that i needed a new heater. He had one in stock and came out the following day to install it. My Bullfrog is working great now and the whole family is happy again. We bought our Bullfrog from Gene about 5 months ago.First of all, Gene was fantastic through the whole process. He wasn't a pushy salesman, just gave the facts and showed us how great bullfrogs are. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. I felt like he really cares about his customers and takes customer service serious. I loved his videos, and they really helped me decide to go with him when purchasing. Anyone who takes the extra time to make them shows he cares about his customers. Last thing about Gene: he delivered the spa, set it up, got it all running and showed me how to add chemicals. Really thorough delivery process.As for the bullfrog spa itself....amazing. Just bought the Bullfrog R6L model . . . unbelievably happy with it, have been soaking twice a day since getting it! I spent a LOT of time researching hot tubs and brands, and Bullfrog easily won my vote. Ability to choose and move jetpaks and adjust pressure is great, and what really sold me was the energy efficiency as I live up in the mountains. Gene was also a pleasure to work with, no pressure at all to buy when first coming into the store, very knowledgeable, and just an all around good guy. After looking at around at a home show, online research, COSTCO and visiting a couple places I found Gene. Great service and great price. Plus no delivery fee and he connected the tub to the electrical. He made sure all the chemicals were balanced before he left. And he had to do a return trip to be able to customize the cover lifter for the spot I placed the spa. No extra charge. I don't really write reviews but after walking out of another spa place that wanted to do a bunch of add-on costs at the last minute, it was refreshing to find Gene. Bullfrog is a great product and Hot Tub Place of Sacramento is the only place I would refer someone to get one. You can buy it on Costco now, but I didn't pay more with Gene and I was able to see, touch and customize from the 15 jet packs available. I have not missed a day in it yet.

Gene is the greatest!!! We did not buy our Bull Frog hot tub from him. We bought it 12 years ago from a shop in Folsom that has closed. I had a problem when I would turn on the pumps the board would freeze up and no buttons would work. Gene spent 45 minutes with me trouble shooting the the problem and advised that he thought it has display panel. He explained exactly how I could remove the old one and replace it with the new one. It completely solved all the issues we were having. Earlier this year I had a pump that was leaking and Gene walked me through replacing it.We Love our Bull Frog spa. 12 years with no problems, using it almost everyday. A couple of new parts and still enjoying it after all these years.

We purchased our Bull Frog hot tub in 2003 and have enjoyed it ever since. The support from the store helped us keep the tub in tip top condition. recently on sound system went on the fritz. I called the store and asked about replacing the speakers. The owner Gene, came out personally and replaced each speaker. We bought our Bull Frog hot tub from Gene at the Hot Tub place almost two years ago and we haven't had one issue with it. We use it 3-4 days a week, rain or shine. The extra insulation in the tub keeps the temp just where we like it without running the heater too much. (About 4.5 hrs/day in the winter...much less in the summer, in fact most of the time in the summer, the heater is off)Great place to purchase a hot tub!Still have to get my batch of beer mixed up :-)
