Your typical Goodwill. Book selection was on the smaller side, but had many DVDs and vinyl. Mostly cloths and housewares. Staff makes an effort to decorate which is nice. Staff is also nice. Some new items in addition to used. Bathrooms were clean. I could see parking being not the easiest when busy. Checkout line has taken a long time every time I’ve gone.

Love a good Goodwill. You can look for something or most the time it finds you.Plenty of parking. The dressing rooms are open. New and used items. They have furniture. Bathroom is available.

I went in to this location looking for a stand and some plant pots. I found the pots and a wooden wine stand. After shopping for an hour I started to head to the checkout. I had plant pots, miscellaneous clothing and a tall wooden stand. As I'm heading to the checkout a worker stops me and tells me I have to take the stand back and put it back on the floor and pay for it when I checkout and then drive around to pickup the piece in the back? And walks off. So now instead of checking out and being on my way, I started talking the clothes off the top of the stand to hang on the cart, so I can get the stand off, she walks back around and tells me I can set the stand right around the area where I was standing. I told her, not meanly or rudely that I wasnt going to go through all of those checkout changes for the stand and that I was moving the clothes so I could set it down on the floor. She walks away and says whatever. Huh? Really? I was not mad, hostile, or anything, I just simply stated, I wasn't going to go through all that, I mean, I go to the register and purchase my items, I go to car load items, then I have to drive around, to the back to wait on someone to load a light piece of furniture? I could see if it was a heavy item that needed to go in a truck? I go to different goodwills all the time, I never had to purchase and pick up in back unless it was heavy. With all that being said, again, I wasn't rude when I said it, I wasn't mad, I just took it as a sign to not get it and save a few bucks. When I heard her say whatever, I saved a lot by leaving. I don't need anyone's negativity in my life. I left it all in the store. Treat people the way you want to be treated.

Prices are very high for very used shoes, pants are still fairly priced but prices have doubled on alot of stuff making it unaffordable for even poor people

Found two packs of crayons colored pencils. A 12 pack for 1.99 and a 24 pack for .99. I asked the cashier why and she rolled her eyes and said it’s because they’re different. I tried explaining that the cheaper one has double the amount and they don’t even charge $2 for a 12 pack new in store! Cashier was wildly rude. I understand cashiers don’t set the price, but there’s no need to react that way to a customer. Hilarious how people take customer service jobs while simultaneously hating people and suck at customer service. 🙄

While in the Rancho Cordova Goodwill store on a crowded Saturday morning, my wallet apparently dropped out of my unzipped purse. I retraced my route from that morning and when I got to the store, there were many, many people in line to purchase the items they had discovered. I waited in a very long line while 2 employees worked to get everyone thru the line quickly, efficiently, and cheerfully. When I explained my problem, they contacted Carrie, who was able to return my wallet. Carrie and the other 2 ladies provided excellent customer service and I found some unique items I needed for a project!

I normally come here for pants for myself and my husband and the prices are great compared to department stores, and I was last there Sunday doing some looking around and the new employee Jenea was so helpful and such a nice colorful lady. I wish other stores would have such great staff. She was friendly and helpful and definitely gave me a reasion to continue to come back. Thank you 😊

So I pull up to donate 4 bags of items to the donation express area out back. There's no sign to indicate which way is the entrance, so I just pull in the way I am able to at first. Some guy with long hair and a hipster moustache comes out to tell me I need to pull my car out and face the other direction before he will accept the donations. He says there's a sign to say I came in through the exit.I look that way and the sign had been blown down so I wouldn't have seen it. I ask if I can just drop the stuff off and go, he says no, I could be inconveniencing others who pulled in the other way. There's no other cars around.So I pull around and come in the right way and moustache guy finally accepted my stuff. I think he could have let me off with a heads up since his sign wasn't even up, but he refused and I think that was very rude of him. He was saying "I am the sign guy" but he didn't even have his sign up to let people know, and wouldn't even let someone donate without getting his power trip move off on someone.Happy holidays pal.

Why is there a big Express Drop Off sign right off Coloma Blvd., yet the guy taking the donations tells me that is the exit. However, he has orange cones up, blocking the way so no one was exiting that way. He said there is an exit sign,, but when I found it, as I backed all the way out,, it was a 5 x 8 inch sign. Would the manager of this location please do something to rectify this problem? Thank you.

I bought to movies. One had 2 disc's neither disc's in that movie would play. The other movie had never been opened it played. Only had one cashier. The recept says all sales are final. I found 2 good buys.should not of bought the DVD.

Yikes!! Steer clear! I don’t know who is pricing these items but there are out of their mind. Many damaged and broken items.$45 for a broken crockpot, $15 for heavily used discolored shoes. $4.49 for an small votive holder. I feel like they are ripping the community off. Most of these items could be purchased new for close tho what they are charging if not less in some cases.

They had a surprisingly wide selection of items for such a small place. All the employees were very friendly and helpful. We ended up buying a very nice and newish sofa and loveseat. I also found some very cute reading glasses that were so inexpensive, I bought 5 pair!

Well the bad reviews aren't lying who ever is doing the pricing is smoking some really good stuff, because $220 for a 15 year old 43 inch flat screen is outrageous, you can pick a new Tv with 5 year warranty for $200 at Costco or Sam's club, not coming here anymore.

Not the greatest Goodwill, they ask a bit to much for some things, I mean $15 for a 20 year old blender that was prob 15 or 20 bucks new. Nice clean store, well organized. But lacking the thrift store prices☹️

The people there were really nice. But there's a lot of clutter and it's hard to find what you might want could you have to dig to a bunch of stuff you don't want. I just wish they had things a little bit more organized. Other than that if you got a lot of time on your hands I recommend stopping by and checking the place out

Very friendly and helpful staff. Great selection of picture frames. Tons of baby clothes. Really cool random glass wear as well. Almost all clothing is in really great shape. No stains, tears or wear.

Went through a lot of good clothes between my daughter and I to donate before the Holidays, but I have to say I won't be donating here again. The wait was over 30 minutes and the donation hours are limited so I had to go during my lunch break. I appreciate the volunteers and the organization as a whole but this location is not very organized.

They sure are getting expensive for a company that receives almost everything for free from people who are donating for the families that are under hard times right now. Can hardly afford to get a couple decent outfits for my kids. They shouldn't be charging more then the store that originally sold the items. .

They told me they would rather me throw away my donation of camping chairs, kids toys, and storage container, rather than accept it 1/2 hour after their unlisted donation times. Had to make sure they tell me its a $1000 fine in their first breath..Donate to the SPCA... animals deserve your donations far more than these people.

Because it is supposed to be goodwill I will still give this store 2 stars instead one. Since when do they dump donations of clean clothes on the wet asphalt when donating? Also, when did they start checking for used underwear? Who would ever donate used underwear and why does a donation turn into such a horrible thing? My gas and time are better served donating to anyone but this goodwill in rancho. Normally one feels good from the donation process but not here.

1 star for the worst customer service experience I have received there on my last visit. I brought in a return item since I was told it was acceptable within 48 hours. Young, heavy set hispanic-looking employee argued with me in a disrespectful , tactless manner and told me "WHATEVER" (!!!) after I called him out on lying to me and his shift manager. All because he did not communicate their return policy to me correctly when I purchased the item. Make sure you tell them the item is broken if you want to return it, otherwise be prepared to be met with rudeness, shooed away, and told to come back another day when the store manager is there. On top of that they are getting more and more greedy with their prices, even for obviously used & damaged/broken items. I suggest you spend your hard-earned cash at a different thrift store that deserves your business.

Clean pretty well organized mixed pricing (prices seem to be going up but still plenty of bargains). Shelves were not overstocked and most prices easy to spot. Purchased a few items and probably stop by next time in the area.

Clean and Organized store. Staff wore masks, customers were required to wear masks, most complied and customer Service was courteous and friendly. I just think some items are over priced to be a second hand store.

DOES NOT ACCEPT MATTRESS DONATIONS! I went to three donation centers. Two did not update their hours today in time and are temporarily closed when I got there. I called them yesterday asking for their business hours for today, if they accept mattress donations and donation hours for today. Both said yes to accepting mattress donations and informed me of the donation hours and business hours for today. However, this is the only one opened during this period. To be sure, I called them ahead to ask about their donation hours and if they are accepting mattress donations. The worker who answered my call said that they are accepting them and informed me of the donation hours. Showed up with the mattresses to donate, but manager informs me that they do not accept mattress donations but “buys” new ones. Please inform/ educate all goodwill workers about your donation policy of not accepting mattress!

Good Will has let their success go to their head. High prices for used, even damaged things. I make enough to afford their prices, but it makes me just want to buy new and I don't think it's fair to their customer base. Your customers know you get your stuff for free, why get so greedy? Your going to loose my business and everyone I talk to. To anyone who doesn't want to support a greedy business, stop buying from or giving to Good Will or they will become a monopoly! There are other thrift stores and other people who deserve your support more than Good Will!

All n' all a really good store but if your a teenager, I dont know about that i was just there looking for a decent pair of pants. Bell bottoms aren't my style. There are nice books though. And there are paintings.

This place doesn't seem to be that busy but the lack of employees make the inside look like a disaster.The employees are always working hard but just can't seem to get ahead of the messy patrons.The prices aren't as good as they used to be and certain items end up on the online site.

It has a lot of fairly new item FABULOUS coats ,jeans,even shoes brand new or barely used,variety of styles,sizes.the only thing they Are a bit pricey for a theif store , I found quite a few pieces of clothing from the 70 's which I bought everything that fit the clothes very much in great condition barely worn The staff probably could engage a little more

Great goodwill, I always find stuff here. Their prices have definitely gone up recently. Things like baby clothes aren't even worth buying anymore.Tip: If you find something without a price sticker on it; find one and put it on it yourself. If you ask them to price it for you they put an outrageous price on the item assuming you took the sticker off yourself.
