The staff here are great. But they had a chick day event here. The lead of the chick event told me she was going to have about 3000 chicks. A lot of the rare ones I wanted to get. When I was there before the event, she said she couldn't sell any of them because they were for the even. I came all the way up there from El Cajon to Ramona. When I called on the phone, I asked if they had these breeds, and they said yes. They didn't say they are not for sale today. So we drove all the way to Ramona just to find out we couldn't buy any chicks, and we would have to come back on Saturday. She assured me that they would have about 3000 chicks. We went on Saturday and when we got there all the ones I wanted to get were gone. I talked to her about it, and she said yeah I had to limit people to only only 5 of each bread." They had about 25 of each bread. So, 5 people out of this event got them. There were about 800 chicks that came to find out, not 3000, which is a huge difference. I just feel this event was poorly run and managed. Don't tell people calling yes. We have them come on down and get them, and when they get there say oh no, sorry, you have to come back Saturday." Gas isn't cheap, and neither is my time. It's just very frustrating. I did give 3 stars because all of the other staff there were nice and friendly.

Staff is ALWAYS friendly and helpful. I can get in and get out. I buy a hard to find freeze dried human grade food for my dog and they're one of two stores that consistently carry it. Store is always clean and there is always ample parking.

The team at Kahoots is so friendly. They have much variety and we have found that their horse supplements cost less than other local stores. We use them now exclusively for our horses' bagged feed even though they don't deliver.

I was in the market searching for "winged things" aka geese and bantam chickens. Wow. There they were , a trio of Buff Pomeranian goslings, and Silkies and Japanese Bantams as well. The staff feels like family. I love, love, love this store!

Excellent help from Katie (for our kitty) and others, both Kahoots employees and the vet clinic staff! We really appreciated everyone’s friendliness and how much time they took to help and teach us!We primarily went for the vet clinic (basic vaccines/services that they offer on certain days each month ~ you can check their calendar online) since we just needed a round of kitten shots, it was so nice to save the cost of an office visit. The customer service and level of knowledge far exceeded my expectations! And the Ramona store itself is very nice and carries a very large variety of products. I often shop online, but I really appreciated being able to actually see or try things before buying them and to ask for advice! Thank you, and we’ll be back!

I enjoy going to the local Kahoots in Ramona. The staff are always very friendly. They always greet you upon entering and offer to help with items to the car. This kind of service just seems to be lost everywhere else and honestly, greeting someone is simple but good for business.

Our dogs have been family members for the last 11 years. We have always gone to Kahoots for their food, treat and grooming needs. About 5 years ago I met Cassie and she has always made every effort to get to know our furry family members. I called today because one of my dogs was unwell and I am could not make it in. She went above and beyond to give me options for pain management explained dosing to me etc. I knew her recommendations would be well suited. She doesn't just work she takes care of her customers in this small community and I am so grateful for that.

I've been coming here for years. It's my go to place in Ramona for animal feed, pet food, hay, or anything else pet/animal related. Their selection of dog and cat food and treats, especially their Kahoots branded stuff is always amazing. My dad lives in another state and always asks for me to pick up some dog treats to send up to him for his dog because none of the stores near him have anything like their treats in terms of selection and quality.

Everyone is so helpful! The store is nicely put together and everything. I'm so happy they opened the new location! Everyone is always so helpful and go out of their way to help you! So knowledgeable! Always wants the best for each one of your pets, they helped me pick out good options for my cat's anxiety & diet choices.

I always have a great experience at Kahoots Feed and Pet. They kindly greet me at the door and they always help me carry out my heavy items and without asking! Great prices on all my pet food, cat litter and even bones for my dog too! Go and check them out for yourself!! I am a customer for life! They also have times and dates each month for their Pet Clinic. Kahoots Feed and Pet care about you and your fur family!

They have everything your pet could need. Plus they have a low cost Vaccination , Chip and Vet . I was able to get a quick vet check and her perscription Flea and Tick meds. Check at your local Kahoots store for times that the vet will be there to give shots. Plus they let her explore the store. That's the highlight for her. ⚽️🐕

I have been doing business with kahoots since 1993 and I love the owners their staff and personalities their inventory and great prices to. I had 2 sons working there in the past and they had the great boss and they are still. There. I even loved the donuts and coffee they had at the old store but the new store is so awesome.. I will always.buy thereMy only complaint is that their handicap parking is so incovent and on side of the building instead in front of the building at the old building but otherwise there are great.

Very kind staff that is always eager to help. Great selection of animal/pet supplies. This is already a large store and they will be moving to an even larger facility in February or March. The new location will be further south/west down main Street. Same side of the street and near Denny's. I can't wait to check out the new location.

I went in asking for advice on what to give my senior citizen kitty with bad teeth and pickyness issues to eat. The workers there were very polite, helpful, and informative, helping me easily find a few brand to try that are good for my kitty and easy on her bad teeth...if she'll eat it, and if she won't they let us return any unopened cans or packets. Great service for sure.
