This is a one of a kind Sierra mountain community gem. The ice cream was excellent, and the customer appreciation made you feel like one of the family. Definitely a must see if you're traveling in the area or a local resident walking down Main Street. This store isnt JUST for kids. Even the young at heart can appreciate everything this store has to offer.

We’ve gone to this toy store for years and years. It was bought by a new owner awhile ago and I adore him. The two people working the ice cream portion are delightful, kind, and everything you could want from a toy store staff. The store has every kind of toy and a good amount of arts and crafts for kids. A great selection of puzzles, too. I HIGHLY recommend!!

Amazing owners, and incredible store. Always fresh new toys and a great variety for all ages. Love shopping here and supporting local of course. Highly recommend during your visit to Quincy. Oh yeah their ice cream also rocks!! Definitely my kids favorite store in town.

Matt is always friendly and truly cares about the people that come into his shop. It's not just a loved place by my kids but my husband and I love going there. The atmosphere is welcoming and you feel like you're at good friends house. If you come to Quincy it's a must visit shop if have kids or not.

First walking in, the owners are very polite and willing to talk with you on any questions, or hobbies. Lots of variety in their selection, especially in board games, and items for young children. Though the store has a lot of baby/toddler items, older kids can definitely find things to keep them busy. Ice cream flavors are great, and the store is affordable for some great toys and games.

Best toy store I have ever been to. Abundant variety of toys, infant and kids clothes, board games, etc. Matt (owner) and staff are super stars and expert gift wrappers. The service here is welcoming and warm, even during a pandemic. The ice cream at this place is also the best local scoop that you can get in town. Highly recommend. A good spot for purchasing baby shower gifts as well.

We wandered into this GEM...with no specific intentions. Not being near my nephews and niece's cities, I saved a ton of money, because had they lived closer...I would have purchased some of the most intelligent, exciting, cool toys ever! I was also tempted to purchase some for myself...age 67! So, after all the browsing, we found ice cream...and it was delicious. The owner and his kids handle displays and sales...even the little ones help out. MY BIGGEST SCORE was the Faber Castell RED PENCIL SHARPENER...that I use daily since that visit...sorry it took so long to write this...YOU MUST MUST MUST VISIT THIS SHOP!

My family has been to the Toy Store a number of times, and it is always fun. My son loves the place. There is a great variety of toys and educational stuff for kids, at reasonable prices. Oh yeah, ice cream! The owner seems to have been born to own a toy store. If I could give more stars I would!

What a great place to go and visit. Really neat and different toys. You'll be greeted with a Hello and a smile. Great ice cream you must try out. Always a pleasure to visit this store. My whole family loves it!

The Toy Store is my go to spot for board games and great ice cream! Mark is really chill and will talk with all his customers about pretty much anything. He's also super informative about his products and is quick to order something if it's out of stock. There's also a surprisingly wide variety of merchandise that he carries, ranging from Legos to guitars. Give yourself a treat with some ice cream if you don't get anything else. I love this little store!!

Best ice cream in CA! (At least, best ice cream in all of San Diego and Quincy... I guess I can't fairly speak for the rest of the state). The family that owns this store are super friendly. The kid toys are a bit high end, so they can be a bit pricey, but it's a really nice store with plenty of good toys for all ages. And they have an entire wall of board/card games! Including at least 5 versions of Ticket to Ride and at least 2 versions of Fluxx! It's fantastic!

I can't believe I haven't yet reviewed my town's wonderful toy store yet. On the one hand, it is a classic small-town toy store with a wide variety of goods covering a vast range of ages and interests. On the other hand, Matt, brings a modern and entrepreneurial approach that is continuously expanding and improving the store. Oh, and do you like games? Matt’s got games. Lots and lots of games, and he and his family can help steer you to particular games that will appeal to you. Oh, and ice cream. Wonderful ice cream. Get a cone and stroll around; you’re sure to find something good.

Hands down the most amazing toy store I have ever been too! The family that owns it just adds to the already beautiful store. It has tons of wooden built toys, educational toys, clothes, shoes, classic toys, puppets and even a great play area for kids. I truly love this store.

I love this place. They know the word FUN. Matt knows his products. (Probably because he plays with most of the stuff befor he sells it.) He is always encouraging kids to play when inside his store. They have amazing learning toys and games. Now they also have ice cream and sorbet. Totally worth your time to go down and check this place out.
