My friend offers to pick up my online order, as I have a baby and work full time form home. I paid $3.25 to have it expedited and it still took well over an hour. Which is fine… just don’t offer the expedited option and make me pay for it if I’m not going to get it. My friend had to go into the store and store attendants had to track down the groceries. Huge pain for my friend. When the groceries arrived.. they left out the blueberries and gave me two blackberries instead, which were both moldy. Not too big a deal. But frustrating. This morning, I start to put my roast in the crockpot and notice that the fresh rosemary and thyme were both moldy as well. Okay.. I’ll just use dried spices I guess… move onto the celery and that is also moldy!!

This morning a skinny girl working in the deli was very rude to me. I just was waiting in line to get some breakfast before work. The guy who I talked to first said he needed to grab someone who knew how to make a breakfast burrito he was very nice and so I waited patiently for 15 mins. The girl saw me looking over their way to see if someone was coming. She ended up very rudely walking towards me throwing her hands and head everywhere, she said how can I help you with some bad tone and I said I would like a breakfast burrito and she replied back YA WELL I HAD TO GET CHICKEN OUT. Like I was in no way rude to her. So you can imagine how that went. Someone needs to drug test that girl! She definitely doesn’t look clean! And needs an attitude adjustment!

I always love Safeway and I get this store is in the middle of the mountains so that means for sure mountain prices on a lot of items but weirdly sometimes things like break or milk are totally gone and the sales for sure always go fast so if it's on sale buy it or it most likely will be gone next time. And I this town is too small so I shouldn't even rate businesses here really.

This is a typical safeway, everything you expect, and no surprises. It looks small from the outside, but has plenty of room once you go inside. The register staff and stocking employees are friendly and helpful.

The sandwich counter absolutely sucks. Takes forever and is usually out of more than 1/2 of what you want on your sandwich. You’d think being a grocery store they’d have plenty of everything

Great service, decent prices. You can't go wrong. There are three groceries in town and an overpriced "natural foods" co-op. Safeway is the most complete store in town. Organic (if you're into that) at reasonable prices. Many of the same products that the "natural foods" place stocks at a considerable savings over the co-op prices and they aren't politicized.

If I could leave zero stars I would. I ordered a ready to eat Thanksgiving meal from Safeway. When I picked it up today the turkey is frozen solid. That might be ready to eat in a couple of days. Certainly not today. All my guests left because there was no dinner and it was the Thanksgiving that wasn't thanks to Safeway's wonderful deli once again.

Ordered prime rib holiday meal. Got a email confirmation, with time and date to pickup. When we went to pick up they said they only had turkey or ham. Took over 2 hours to get out with a turkey dinner. Very disappointing to the family.

I have had lots of good customer service here. I have yet to have a bad experience shopping here. One experience really sticks out. An employee named Mona helped me, and unlike the others she actually tried to create a conversation. I have worked customer service before, I know how hard it can be to keep a smile on my face and start conversations with random customers. Mona did a really good job at treating me almost as a friend instead of a customer. I hope that there are more cashiers like Mona that work in the future. If more employees were like Mona, I think all of us would have a better shopping experience. If you're looking for great customer service and reasonably priced products I would recommend stopping by this Safeway.

Customer service is above and beyond wonderful at this store. They are limited and do not allow for delivery or using EBT online, but they make up for it by having an AMAZING staff who will do whatever they can to accommodate you. There are too many names to mention, but you all at Safeway in Quincy CA know who helped me yesterday and today. Bless your hearts for bringing back faith in our community.

This is a good Safeway. Has a great deli, and a good selection of freshly prepared food to go daily. Service is good. They will open extra checkstands if the lines get to long, which is good. But as with all other Safeway's, thier prices are on average $1 higher on most products then all other grocery stores.

Of the two supermarkets in Quincy, it's the better of the two. Depending on the time of year you go you get good service but no matter what the prices are going to be ridiculous. The store is clean and well kept, however which is always a plus. The workers are pleasant and carry on conversation with customers.

Beautiful, trendy grocery store like all/most Safeways. Expensive every day prices but lots of GREAT Club Card sales always going on. If you go in to buy everything on your list you will spend a fortune but if you try to buy sale items only it can become a very inexpensive yet high quality grocery store at which to shop.

Its all about which employees are working!! I don't care too much for younger employees as they don't know how to talk or act to the older generation such as myself. Which I'm 45, and my father retired from Safeway and I still have his Safeway name tag that says , personally serving you since 1967!! And can't believe how much the sections are bare or have the same things instead of mixing it up, and I do have to go to the competitor for some things.

This is a tiny community, cutoff from any chain store, at all. I believe the only interstate style business, would be, Round Table, Subway, and of course there is Safeway. Safeway saves me for some reason or another each week, by having a product or brand of product, that the other two stores in town (yes, two) don't have and have never heard about. There is nothing special about this Safeway, other than the fact that it is super busy, all the time. The lines still seem to move quickly and it's certainly worth it.

Best selection of different kinds of things.The produce selection is good!The deli has a big variety of things, hot and cold.There is a good selection of wines!Nice floral dept.But, the lines are always long. This store doesnt impliment "3s a crowd" , like other Safeways.

TERRIBLE customer service. They do not enforce masks, even though it’s the law at the moment. The manager is unhelpful and rude, same with the woman who works at the floral shop within the store and a produce staffer.

In the deli the lady had to put in more chicken tenders into the fryer for me, told me to come back, when I did there was another group and I watched as another employee pulled the tenders out and grabbed them for the other group and the lady helping me watched him and didn't say a word that we were there first, there wasn't enough for us to have the amount we asked for, I was disappointed in the service, the tenders were pretty good though

Great selection and friendly staff. Pretty much the only "full" grocery store in Quincy, where you can find pretty much anything (especially higher quality items). Open till 11pm now.

Verifiable safety while purchasing groceries. Reasonable prices, nice variety, and you can be assured a conversation with one of the wonderful locals. The muzac genres playing is odd for a grocer, and I feel like I'm shopping at a teen girl's clothing store.

Very busy store. The butcher was very nice and knowledgeable. Check out lady was nice and had a great sense of humor. They do need some more workers. Store was clean and produce man was busy stocking area.

There's always a line to deal with and I have to bag my own groceries every time I shop here...unless I get one of the few remaining career checkers. This place has really gone down hill and when the last of the full time employees leave I'm going to avoid shopping here whenever possible.

It's good for the area but honestly it seems every Safeway rings up my basket incorrectly. Sometimes it's a quarter but sometimes it's tens of dollars. They won't fix it at the register and you have to stand for forever at customer service for them to give you the stink eye for making them "give you money" even though it was their fault and they incorrectly took the money from you in the first place.

Its a small town safeway. Not bad, not great. They need to step up the healthy food options and find a way not to price gouge over being about the only grocery in Quincy. Next time i am in Quincy i will be looking for a locally owned grocery.

Great deli options. Food is fresh, staff is friendly, and prices are great. The checkouts can get congested from time to time, but that is to be expected. Overall a great stop!
