Clean, helpful friendly staff who try to assist or make alternate suggestions. Prices lower in general except certain items that are heavily taxed by other agencies. Inventory changes sometimes by Corporate dictate so if you like a product buy two.

Purchased a case of beer. Dollar general double charged me for the beer. I returned to the store. I spoke to the manager, “Brook”. I showed her my bank statement that showed I was double charged. Brook, the store manager, told me it is store policy the refund would need to be approved thru corporate and that they would call me. Five days go by without any word. Just return my money or give me my product. Very poor customer service. I will never shop at this store ever again!

Yes, it was nice to have a store you can get a shower curtain, or pots and pans. this store has lots of things with good prices, But the management sucks!!! NEVER hires enough help!!!! ONLY ONE employee to do EVERYTHING!!! Or at least it seems that way for sure!!! Especially if your waiting in line. I feel for the employees there! Hence the employee turnaround!

Open late for last-minute shoppers! Store is open until 11:00pm through Christmas Eve to allow time for everyone to shop while remaining healthy with reduced retail capacity rules. Good prices on all!

Most of the staff is friendly but I no longer buy products that are intended to be used more than once. Their mops break on the first use, their apparel shreds on the second wash, their kitchenware breaks on the third use, etc. Their debit machine fails to read new debit cards, their internet needed to process credit payments is down almost weekly. They may have reasonable prices on some items but it's hardly worth it when the products they sell fail so quickly. They also often only carry a few seasonal items intended for holidays. Additionally, they never honor listed sale prices and usually claim it was mislabeled. They refuse to exchange products that are defective and typically create a hassle with any attempt when a customer attempts to remedy the failed product.

I am from reno but my business needed me in Quincy. My store isnt open but I needed a bathroom. The two girls working were sweet. Laughed with me when I said I've been doing the potty dance in my truck seat for a hour. They gave me the key to bathroom. As I walked through the store everything was spotless in the store . Neatly shelved. Very clean. I complimented them both. They both said they work hard to keep it comfortable for their customers. Thanks for saving me girls. I'll visit again.

The folks at DG are friendly and always helpful. The products as one would expect from a discount "catch-all." the prices are still too high for the quality but they are always convenient and usually consistent with their stock.

Low selection and dirty. Produce is usually moldy and/or swarming with fruit flies. The staff is unhelpful and argumentative. I hate this store. Lots of people doing drugs in front of children by the entrance. Staff does nothing when you make a complaint except argue with you.

Only one clerk in store. Took a money drawer to office as we were approaching to pay and was gone for quite awhile before returning. Other customers had arrived while we were all waiting. They kept asking if anyone was in the store. I told them yes. She would be there in a moment.

The Quincy store is filthy. The floors look like they have never been mopped. 10 people in line and 1 cashier. Happens all the time. I've tried several times to buy something on sale and the cashier says that the sale was over the day before. Last week I was buying something on sale and it rang in full price. I show the cashier what the sign says and the manager says "I guess she can have it for that price." I don't know what happened but the store used to be a pleasant place to shop.

Best place to shop for home goods in quincy. Has pretty much everything you need and all at great prices. Staff is friendly and things are easy to find and well organized. Even the clothing is on trend.

For a town without a Walmart, Dollar General is the place to shop for non-food items. It's like a mini Walmart. Much cheaper than Rite Aid. Staff is friendly.

The dollar general population could use a lil more personality. I have only found one in Greenville CA. I was blown away by the atmosphere. It was awesome
