They place sign at door that states vaccination clinic today 9-12. Store was not open (it was 830) but sign was clearly at door where anyone walking by could see it. I go home and get cat, drive back with howling cat, and now date changed to 3 weeks from now. Way to properly communicate!

******SIX STAR REVIEW!!!!!!Kiki is incredibly awesome!!!!!! My family and I have known her since our Shiba Enu Kuma was a puppy (almost four years). We followed Kiki to her new store in Poway. Kiki has a special gift with animals and Kuma (and us too) absolutely loves her. Talented, bright and quick on the uptake. A true professional with fantastic pet “bedside manners”! I have been here twice and both times I have had a great experience. Today while I was there, a very nice young woman was more than helpful and went above and beyond to help me meet my dogs needs. Should have asked her name. I am glad I live close by, will definitely continue to give my business to kahoots.

Great pet store with very knowledgeable staff. Live small animals in store are always fun to visit. I take my dogs to get their teeth cleaned there, too, for a reasonable price at clinics. Great dog food selection.

Had a great experience shopping at the poway Kahoots! Just after loading a car up with large bags, the same employee greeted me and then helped me find all the items on my list! I was glad to be in and out efficiently! The service was amazing!

Besides everyone being friendly, my favorite part has to be their bird mascot Remy. He's cute, makes the trip all the more worth it when you can visit him.Everything is easy to find, lots of options, and also very clean and maintained. I have visited a few times for some things for some of my own pets and have been able to find everything I'm looking for and then some.

The Kahoots employees were awesome, the vaccines people kind of rude, they need to watch their manners. I don't like when I don't see what they are doing to my dog, that is why I come to Kahoots and never came back to the competition.

We went to this store for the first time a week ago to look for goodies for our picky pup and we had an amazing experience, we went back today and again , it was great. The staff are very knowledgeable and do not encourage you to buy products for the sake of selling, they truly care. I would 100% recommend this store to any pet owners.

I went in for basic supplies with my new kitten. We were greeted just after going through the door and asked if they could help us find anything. Everyone working was helpful and kind. It was such a fun experience for my kids and their first pet. We got the right food we needed, some stickers and help carrying the huge heavy litter bag out to our car. Prices are decent and the kahoots litter actually works well.

Best pet store ever. My dogs love to come in and pick out their own toys. Every time I buy a bug bag of food, the manager helps me carry it to the car. Overall great service. The Kahoots brand dog food is also awesome.

If I could do 6 stars I would..staff is awesome and always friendly and willing to go the extra mile.I don't think I've left the store without being asked would you like me to carry that (35 pounds of dog food) to your car. And there cahoots brand dog food is amazing. My dog has food allergies..we tried everything to stop the dry skin and patches...after switching to cahoots brand he's back to all smiles all the time and no scratching

I've started going to this store only because the Pet-Co on Poway Rd. is closed until December for a renovation. I've shopped there several times over the last few months and I have to say that their friendliness, knowledge and generosity and quality of their product really made a permanent customer out of me. Try their in-house brand dry dog food, it comes in Salmon, Wild Boar, Chicken and Beef. My dogs love all of them...but the chicken is their favorite!!

Do not get your crickets from this store. The container I purchased was missing 30% of the crickets. I have noticed in the past that the amount I get doesn’t look like the amount advertised. The manager is nice, he resolved the issue.

Great store for getting some real 5 star dog foods (according to dog food advisor scale). They carry the better brands and the prices are pretty competitive and one can't really wait around for even 2 day shipping if you're running out of your mutt's food!
