This store located in San Diego's east county, is the main store and closest store to where I live. I buy my propane here for heating, hot water, cooking and running a generator built into my 5th wheel trailer for aircondtioning in the summer heat. They have a wide selection of items. They sell liquor as well as beer/wine. Been doing business with Potrero Store for 25+ years. I did the exterior lighting, the storefront sign and the whole porch area. Many years ago for this store, and its all still in use working good 👍

Our little store is still here. Still giving good service as always. There is big fallen tree but it only smashed the rear awning. No building damage thank god.

This store is a horrible place to shop. If your in the neighborhood just pass it up. There are decent stores within a couple miles going either way. Rotten food on the shelves, and prices are astronomical. He's been fined for price gouging before, but he never stopped. Terrible costumer service also. Wish I could give 0 stars. Don't know how anyone would call Robert a gentleman, especially women. Price gouging chauvinist pig more like

Great little store in Potrero with a large variety of items including dairy, meat, fruits and veggies, frozen, snacks, staples. They also sell lottery tickets. Owner is super friendly.

Just flying over the East County on nostalgic google earth review (from Costa Rica) and found this time capsule of a store. I remember walking with my 22 rifle picking up pop bottles to redeem for more 22 caliber bullets 50 years ago. Nobody even looked up or noticed a 12 year old carrying a rifle in those days. It was a different world back then....maybe better?

Truly a small country store . Close to camping and Potrero regional park , they sell essentials , bag ice and propane. The owners have realized the American dream , truly satisfying the locals and travelers alike .

Just as I was about to give up hope on possibly scoring some drinking water and a snack,... We came across this little store and it did no less than Save Our Lives! we didn't have to go all the way to Tecate, Mexico without water! we were able to score some cold freshwater, a snack, some beer for later and this would surely save us from the elements. "Ok, we're going to make it", I was able to exclaim to the rest of the crew. All two of us.OK , so there wasn't a whole parade of us, we still, would have still had a hell of a journey from Sutter Creek, California, USA, to Punta Banda, on the Mexican peninsula of La Bufadora.Oh happy day... We are here... And Loving the rest of Life.
