Oh man, I have had great experiences and sometimes a little beef with this place haha!I get it, it's a locally owned, awesome hardware store and the employees really do try their best to help you and have good ideas about what might work for your particular project. The pros are usually that they have what I need, and the only con is just that because it's in a rural area, they have somewhat higher prices, and it's the only game on town, but I still prefer to support it when I can, over having to drive an hour away to a bigger store.That being said, I wish they had a little bit more clarity on their prices, but they'll usually honor the sticker if they haven't updated it in a while. Thank you all for supporting your local community and keep up the great work!

I love this place. The locals love this place. They have a little bit of everything. And the workers are helpful and upbeat. Now that is good, especially for the changing seasons. They have updated things inside and out and still always working to improve. It is very nice to see in this small city. OK, it's a small town but is a incorporated city. But locals take care of everyone.

Horrible service. I walked in and five people behind the counter. Not one asked if I needed help and not one came looking for me to assist me. Not the first but definately the last for me. I've heard this from other people. Blairsden gets my business now and their garden yard is far more organized as well.

If I could rate this place lower than 1 star I would. My husband and I rented an already broken carpet shampooer from the freaking 60s (ya know, keeping our business local). The people in the store failed to give us the lid to the shampooer so we had to run back and get another one. We drove about 4 streets going 20 mph and they had the NERVE to tell us it blew out of our truck and they gave us the lid to it and they're now charging us $100 for a lid that was never there. We aren't tweakers renting shampooers to try and scrounge up our deposit money... We are a hard working couple with children whom own our home at 26 years of age. We never drove highway speeds so it blowing out just was not possible... Definitely not going 20mph and the lid easily weighs 10lbs... Not only did the shampooer make the carpet worse due to it being broken before our rental... So, I have to replace my entire living room carpet due to their machine they are renting out without maintaining. Then I have to pay them $100 because they failed to give me the lid? This is the worst customer service I have ever encountered. Don't try to give these "small businesses" money because they are out to rip you off and create a bad name for the community in the process. The disrespect we got from the girl in there was absurd because she neglected to do her JOB. I have drained and shut down my bank account because they will not receive one single penny from me for their own stupidity.

Greatest parts and tools in the area.(the only in the area). Service is always warm, friendly and ready to help. If you cant find it then Scott or one of the others will happily help fill your home repair projects needs.

Wth!!! Has dremel blades no device,asked a lady who worked there and she just shook her head no.No cheap water timers $30!! Clerk 23 didn't want to ring us up, cause he already had a half transaction, his coworkers standing around talking to each other. And then walked away from the register. Customers coming in with no masks!! They say on 4 in the store, not even! Over priced under stalked store, awful customer service!!!! They don't even spray down there keypad for the debit card machine. Had 10 items and didn't offer a bag.. if you hate your job so much stop working there!!!

They are always on top of there customer service, and if they don't have in stock what you need then we'll order it for you and have it there in just a little bit of time like maybe a day or two sometimes it could be a week good evening then they're still looking out for our best interest

For a small town hardware store, they're pretty well stocked. Everyone is very helpful. I try to buy as much of my household project materials as I can from them. Support your local businesses please!
