Hooray for this Walmart. They tolerate overnight parking and after getting to the Raine rest area on the 99 to find it closed, I was not in a good mood.This Walmart is not a Supercenter, likely because it shares the shopping center with a grocery store. They still have soft lines and toys and electronics and a Tire & Lube but very limited food and groceries. The restroom was clean and I checked out the limited selection of RV stuff.I parked the Sprinter van in the area between the Walmart and the grocery store with two or three other motorhomes. It was mostly quiet until the stores closed, then it was completely quiet.

Worst shopping experience to date. No self checkout available, the 5 or 6 cashiers that were open had between 8 to 10 customers in line. There were multiple employees standing around, talking on cellphones when they could have been opening other check stands. I had one item and had to wait 15 to 20 minutes to get checked out. Very poor scheduling and or planning. And if Walmart is planning on charging us $100 a year to use the self checkout I will never ship here again.

Zero stars given if i could. Their checkout likes are enormous. They got rid of self check out and now their lines are at least 8 people deep.If that we're bad enough, management couldn't support employees or clients by ensuring that all registers are open. What courteousy!

we go in there several times a week usually for work related items. Staff is always friendly and helpful. You can always find someone If you need help finding something. But when you get ready to check out, there’s no check stands with cashiers open in the front of the store so you have to use self check out. You can go to the garden department there is usually one cashier but I have been there when there’s probably 15 to 20 People in line and they still don’t open another check out. I don’t enjoy checking myself about I wish they would have more cashiers.

Manager Christine and coach of bc Augustina are rude and disrespectful ladies, have no customer service. Didn't accept my return even thou in the app it I could still return it. I got treated so poorly. Augustian kicked my boys out because they where on their phone saying they could not be using them at the store. Guess this rude person where scared to get record for their racism acts. They been reported to corporate and ethical line. Waiting on solution

Walmart, Portersville Me & my granddaughter had came here for 🛍 shopping & looking around so we got some stuff to make for dinner (chili 🧀 cheese dogs & old fashion 🔥 hot dogs) with ketchup & mustard & relish & we got some potatoe chips to. This store has so much more stuff than the other ones have & it's always so well stocked!!! Thank you & 💯%+ & ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐'s

Horrible experience, this is the worst walmart I've ever been to. You have to schedule a pick up time for you drive up order? And you only get a hour window, I usually end up having to cancel it because the wait is ridiculous, but today they decided to give my order to a random person and now I'm being charged and empty handed and their customer service is useless. For a store that has it's competition across the street you would think they'd try their hardest to maintain your business.

I returned item and they suppose to return the money on a gift card and when I wanted to use the gift card , gift card was not active , so I went to customer service again , manager could not do anything , , I asked her to go over camera but unfortunately camera was there just for decoration

It’s still the only place in town that’s your one stop and get everything in one shot place .If the city of Porterville wouldn’t have played games with Walmart, we would’ve had a supercenter with even more options.

The worst place to get your oilchange done or battery replaced I showed up asked to get my battery replaced and oil change done over an hrs later no one in line workers back there chilling when I get back they still haven't gotten to my car maybe a 40 min job fk walmart an their employees I'll go up the street tomorrow and they take care of it in like 30 min flat bet money on that place is trash I don't have all day to wait for 40 min jobs just don't

Went here to grab a few supplies and grab some prescriptions, before continuing on our travels. Was very busy for a Tuesday night. The food section is extremely small and very limited, almost an afterthought actually. Plus they were out of quite a few things. And the food rows are located directly across from the pharmacy, which is different. This Walmart is more for shopping for everything thing else you need, but food. If you need groceries, we would recommend going to an actual grocery store.

I bought this battery at porterville walmart in 2019 and it said it had 5 year warranty but today I went in the store to get my replacement battery for my car, and a lady told me that my warranty was inspired because there system said it was made from 2017! and they needed a purchase receipt just to give me another one. How in the world people could keep a recipe for that long!! So she told me to purchase a new one instead of getting my replacement battery. I think you guys shouldn’t purchase at all your battery’s for your Cars at Walmart.

Slow service. Rude Staff. Wait period to get stuff from locked cabinets is ridiculous. A ton of staff walking around doing nothing, while us customers have to check ourselves out. Crazy. Lines for every department. Walmart is a trap. Prices getting off the hook. For customers doing 90% of the work. No place cheaper other wise I wouldn't go at all. Walmart is a disgrace...

Always run into someone at Walmart.... Literally!Great prices on most merchandise.There are always products that are being shelved in the isles and it does make it hard to walk through the store... Not too bad... But stocking the shelves at a busy time of customers... Really!?!
