They need to do direr quality control checks here. I'm done going here, they're stuff is always past the expiration date, my husband even bought a container of horchata for a church event and he was so embarrassed to find that it tasted like sour milk, having just bought it. And the manager was so rude she was more upset then we were when we brought it to her attention.

I love this place it's got really good bread 🥪 and Mexican bread 🍞🥖 and there is a big assortment of meats and the produce is very fresh and delicious 😋

This place would be 5 stars. Except for the marinated meat. I get the carne asada for tacos and pastor. I get 4lbs of each. I noticed you end up with very little meat. This time I weighed it out before and after. The Carne Asada started at 4.2 lbs. Once it cooked out without all the juice the final weight is 1lbs 7 oz. Which is less then half what you're paying for. When the price is near $6 a pound. I payed $14 for marinade. I did the same test with Guadalajara meat market. That cooked down from 4.5lbs to 3.2 lbs.All in all. I like the flavor or Vallarta meat more. But with it costing $23 for 1.7lbs total. It's to spendy for me.

This store is the worst I was going to pay 3 dollars in change and the cashier told me to change the coins to bills first(they have a machine that charges u 10 % to change ur coins )I looked at her and asked really it's only 3 dollars and and her response was yes not to menchen it's one of the worst stores in porterville very rude cashiers and it is always packed

I like going to this store because the staff is very friendly, except for the Butcher Shop manager, that woman is very arrogant.I went today and the store director Ivan was very kind, he helped me find a product I needed, I am glad that such kind people have important positions, I wish there were personnel like this in all the vallartas, I will definitely be here more often.

I like the pastries there and thats that is mostly what i get and few items. I like the fact you can eat in the store while you shop and also the idea that they have a shuttle service for consumers. However, when a cashier ask me if i wanted a bag and I said yes. Make sure you put all the groceries in a bag or get more bags thats appropriate. Don't leave 2 items left and 1 especially with pork chops. I asked her how about these items...15 cents. Really and I don't want to use credit card since I didn't have change. Lol

They have fresh produce and at reasonable price they are also always stocked up and it's always clean. LAt times they can be busy but it's because they have loyal customer. Overall it will save you money to shop here unlike other places...and they give excellent customer service.

I order baked goods frequently from this place. I only wish the communication between the bakery and check-out counters was more streamlined. Love the produce, dairy and meat products.

Good place to get veggies and fruits very cheap...They have good cakes but other items are expensive good service and they don't charge for bags unlike others do... And their bag are reusable and durable.. I like this place. I don't see hardly any white people shop their... I wonder why?

The store is clean. They do not have a large variety of products, but have a good meat and produce department. I like going there for the fresh fruit waters and already made Mexican food in LA Cocina.

Vallarta is always a great place to stop for a snack. I haven't done much grocery shopping there, just hit up the food court. I can't get enough of their tacos and Spanish rice. Now I'm not the biggest fan of Mexican food, but this stuff taste so good. Probably because it's authentic.

Last place to go to for anything. It's always so packed and also the quality of their meat and chicken sucks. I've had to take my stuff back 3 times and that's when I stopped buying from there. My fiance bought chicken soup the other day for $30 for tortillas, small rice containers,and a pot of soup and there were 2 pieces of legs and 5 slices of zucchini. Total rip off.

This place is good to buy your groceries, but walking through the isles is a bit tricky. No room for anyone to move. Even worse is when your getting ready to pay, the isles are even smaller. Not to mention how if there is a line, it will start to block the walk ways for shopping customers.. whoever designed the blueprints for the layout needs to go back to school.. Oh don't let me forget how shopping centers every are making you pay for bags AND bag your own items. How ridiculous is that. Isn't that what they get paid to do. Just asking. If they took out that space with the extra chips they could spread the isles open a little more. Would make a big difference.

New to town, heard they carry South American products. Really excited not much in this town sonI went early at 7:15 store was empty, nice. Prices are not comparative but it’s OK considering the area. What disappointed me was the service. I could not find a product, I asked the cashier she told me it was across the isle about 15 feet, I asked if I had time (no one behind or around me and she still had the entire check stand full of my groceries to process) she didn’t like it and gave me a terrible attitude so I told her “nevermind” she also failed to mention that I had to pack my own groceries just pushed my items and asked how many bags. Maribel, was in a faulty mood, didn’t smile or greet me politely. I will NOT BE RETURNING!!!! Amazon will continue to deliver my S. American products. What a disappointment to see people from the same culture mistreat others SMH!!!!

They are very nice and helpful. I asked the cashier if they had any "product" that I really wanted to buy and I didn't have to wait a second (it felt like) before I had 2 employees come right up to help 3 including the cashier asking if he could go look. I was in shock to see how helpful and how fast they came to help me. It was amazing! I've shopped in several stores in town in the last week and it's been sad that most stores aren't customer oriented. I'm not saying all stores nor all employees but I've literally been told that "nobody in the store can help me because they had other things to do" I had to leave products that I needed or wanted because I couldn't reach them or they were too heavy for me to put in the cart. Again not all stores nor employees won't help people but VALLARTA HAS AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!! Thank you Vallarta for being so helpful!!!

Great store but some employees need to be replaced. I went in to the express line to brake a couple dollars into quarters and the cashier was very rude. She didn't want to open the register and her excuse was that she didn't have any quarter to give out. I never said I wanted them for free when I approached her, I even showed the dollar bills I wanted to change so my toddler could ride the little rides outside the store. Because of her my son left the store crying!

Pork rinds baby! This blew my Alaskan mind. Never seen anything like this. They were amazing.Pretty hectic and busy place. Good liquor selection, nice staff, good carnitas, good mangos.

I wish they had more organic, but the yellow tortillas are good and more mexican taste, they are better than the white ones that taste like bland Maseca type corn meal. They make authentic natural freshly made fruit/vegetable juices in wide varieties. We get the Vampiro juice blend and replace oranges with pineapple. Great healthy drinks to buy instead of processed sugary drinks.

They have the best little bakery rolls!! Super friendly staff and usually has more herbs to choose from. I love this place ❤️
