Quality control here is bad. Their fish and meat stays out for far too long and developed a different color and smell.I bought some bread recently and it had this play dough smell inside, well Lah di dahIt was rancid.The customer service is great but they definitely don’t pay attention to dates and food quality.

Great selection of food and prices. I love their deli and bakery making fresh food everyday. Lots of homeless people about though, saw one blatantly stuff his back pack with stolen food. No one seemed to care as he walked off.

Excellent Store. Once when my friend lost his phone the manager and the clerk went out of the way to locate it in the lost and left behind box under the counter. He was desperate to get it back. And was very relieved. TY Savemart. Now our only grocery store.

They have a very large variety of things I love, but getting them in stock seems to be a feat in itself. The staff is always friendly and helpful. It's pretty great for a local store in Porterville.

Today, I shopped at Save Mart and I found everything on my shopping list. I love the fresh assortment of breads, sandwiches, pasta salad, baked chicken, etc. The staff are friendly and nice. I enjoyed my shopping experience at Save Mart. I give this location an A+. Great job everyone 👏

I ordered an 18th birthday cake for my son. The decorating on the cake lacks. It looks like a cake anyone could decorate at home for a child. NOT an adult.

This grocery store remarkable in their multitude of choices in all departments! Meat is excellent, way better than the other markets in town as is the produce department. Bakery and Deli have yummy foods. The store is very clean. The employees friendly and very helpful. Their flower and plant section quite varied and of good quality. I could go on but you get the idea. Prices are good also with sale prices great buys.

Love the selection every isle has to offer. Great variety, fresh produce and helpful associates. The deli is always packed with the freshest made food and ingredients. Love the soup station to. Makes for a perfect quick grab for lunch. The rotisserie chickens, oh my- so good!!!!

Great staff, great selection. Love the fresh produce and meat quality is awesome. Add in the bakery where Roger is whipping up all sorts of yummy treats and the fresh deli meet fresh cut to order and you get the best supermarket in the county. Porterville Save Mart is hands down my favorite place to buy groceries. So, if you haven't already, head down and check em out. They might be your new favorite to!

Always out of the mainstreet baked mac and cheeses. I don’t trust buying mac and cheese here anyway bc the last time I did I got back home and there was mold growing inside the sealed container. I came again tonight to pickup dinner items and again the mac and cheese has something growing inside the container. Unacceptable and gross they don’t remove rotting food from the shelves.

They make really good cakes and have a wonderful delicatessen. The prices are sort of high priced there but their quality makes up for it. I shop there sometimes because of the huge beer selection there and they know how to pay their employees good. The better Market of Porterville

Love this place. I have been shopping here for many, many years. In these troubling days there is always someone sanitizing the shopping carts now. The staff consistently ask if they can help find anything, and they carry a lot of items I don't find anywhere else. The produce, cheese selection, and meat dept are all great, as is their Fried chicken. (We rarely buy KFC anymore! Seriously.) Good job Savemart.

I haven't tried everything, hence 4out of 5 stars. But their bakes were fresh. Had the pistachio mufffin... delicious! Their apple strudels were soft and moist, too!!! Their coupons consisted of a free water case, free dozen of eggs and $10 off $50.... I thought this was a great bargain!!! Their produce looks and tastes fresh... so far, no complaints!!!

I don't recommend ordering cakes from their bakery. We placed an order a week & a half in advance for my daughter's birthday cake, it was a special order & they were given special instructions & even a picture to go off of & all the information was written down by the bakery lady herself. The cake wasn't ready at the time it was supposed to be ready & it was made completely wrong & the top layer cake was even cracked down the middle leaving a pretty big gap. Then they wanted us to wait another 35-45 minutes longer to scrape off the top to refix it but that doesn't fix the cracked cake or them messing it all up! The manager of the bakery area was extremely rude, inappropriate & unprofessional & didn't care that they messed up at all. All he had to say was that they'll just scrape it off, redecorate it & put it in their cake fridge until someone else comes in to buy it if we don't want it. We still needed a cake for my daughter's birthday party so we got it but to top it off the cake inside wasn't made right either (it was really dry, the cake batter wasn't mixed properly & the filling wasn't the right filling we ordered). Definitely not worth the time wasted, or the money spent or having to deal with a rude, inappropriate, unprofessional manager/employee.

The biggest comment I can make, is that whoever is running this place as the manager is doing an excellent job with his employees I needed to interact with 5 different employees while I was there. And each time they exceeded my expectations and most likely their managers expectation the next three people I talk to I had to tell them what interesting and great time I had shopping at this Save Mart. If I lived in this city, I would only go shopping here!!! What a joy it is to go somewhere where you are giving them money and you are happy to do it.

Went in to buy waters and used restroom. Completely disgusting. Toilette paper everywhere except on the rolls. Two empty ones. Toilette hadn't been flushed because toilette handle was broken. Sanitary seats protectors were shoved in dispenser, unable to remove without ripping them. Floor was so dirty that it actually looked muddy. Not sure if it was cleaned at all this day and it 6:45 at the time. The rest of the store always seems great

As always nice and clean! I like how the bulk items are pre bagged. They had a sale on hamburger meat today for 2.99 a pound. And I picked up a beautiful red velvet cake

It has a nice selection of foods and things. However, it had regular mangos for 5.99 each the organic ones were even more ! The very next morning at Smart & Final regular mangos were 1.25 each. And that's the way I've found most of there prices on the things they did have in stock. Also some of the sesame sticks snacks you can by any amount you'd like, ANYONE with a working nose could smell those things were very VERY rancid. I thought I would vomit on the floor right then. Their staff was extremely friendly and helpful enough so to counter the prices they charge if you need lots of help-they ARE worth it.

They have really stepped up their game since remodeling. The whole place just feels much nicer! The staff is friendly, you see the same cashiers most of the times you visit, and I have even had employees offer to order items they didn't carry but I wanted!

The store it's self is great. The deli however not so much. I've ordered several sandwiches over the month of June and each and everytime it's made wrong or completely uneatable. I'm done waisting my money for wrong orders or rock hard bread. Sorry savemart! Step it up!!
