This was an amazing trip with an amazing guide. I can’t say enough good stuff about the experience. The gear is top notch, all the best stuff to make sure your trip is comfortable. I couldn’t believe how many fish we caught and how close to the whales we were. Billy is so knowledgeable and has such a great appreciation for the area that he shares so well. I can’t wait to go again.

Beginner's surf lesson with Billy - amazing experience!My partner and I had never surfed before and weren't sure how it would go. We had a blast! From the beginning Billy made us feel comfortable and supported and we had fun from beginning to end.Billy was awesome - thanks to his clear and supportive coaching we were standing up on the board after a few tries. We were worried about how cold the water would be but the wetsuits Billy provided (including a hood and booties) kept us warm the entire time. He also used a go pro to make sure we had lots of pictures of ourselves surfing.We were a little late (we went to the wrong address) and Billy not only waited for us, he let us go longer past our 2-hour lesson time.Thanks to this great experience we definitely want to keep surfing.

Went kayak fishing for the first time. Our guide, Billy, was incredibly knowledgable and friendly. He guided us to some great spots with plenty of fish biting. When we got back to shore, Billy filleted our fish and gave recommendations of how to cook each type. Great way to spend the morning (four hours) while in the area!

Billy is extremely friendly, easy going and professional. I appreciated his knowledge about the Mendocino eco-system. I felt extremely safe and comfortable. I loved seeing the kelp forest from the kayak. The Mendocino coastline is especially dramatic from the ocean. Ocean kayaking is a great way to experience the natural world and get an "ocean's eye view" of Point Arena! I did my first trip in the fall and I can't wait for whale watching season this coming spring! I'll be back.

Absolutely amazing fishing trip. We spent 4 hours on the water, catching fish, spotting whales, seeing wildlife, and exploring the coast. We've been making ceviche, tacos and other fish with our catch for the last 3 days.Billy is a knowledgable and supportive guide, and has excellent equipment. Strongly recommended!

My guide Billy took me on a wonderful trip kayak fishing on a hobie out into the pacific! Billy is very knowledgeable and professional and we had an excellent day on the water! Fishing was good, conversation better, and the highlight was first hearing, then seeing a gray whale on her way to Alaska! If you want to try this but are a bit hesitant I urge you to give this a go!

I recently bought a fishing kayak and wanted to try out ocean fishing.A chance meeting with Billy from North Pacific Adventure turned into the best day of my trip to the North coast. Hooking up with NPA was a perfect fit.Billy has a great vibe about him and is always right there. His family’s long history of fishing off Point Arena gives him incredible local knowledge of water depth, currents, reefs and simply where the fish are.Top quality gear.Lots of action and many different types of fish were caught.When we returned he masterfully filleted our catch.I felt I got a bargain for all the service.I am sure to call on NPA on any return trips. Maybe salmon season!Thanks for all the great pictures!Randy

Great kayak tour in Arena Cove, California. Our guide Billy was very friendly and interesting. The kayaks were super comfortable and easy to use, with ultra-efficient pedal technology and well-adjusted seats. I highly recommend.
