As much as I love small rural markets, this one is not very friendly. Angry workers and disrespectful customer service made us and multiple others leave. Waited about 10-15minutes for the 3 ladies behind the deli bar to serve us stale looking potato salad. After they ignored us the entire time, we moved on to the produce section where everything was on its way out and ransacked. I suppose you should only stop here if you are looking to waist time, walk in circles, and buy mediocre items!

Nice market / grocery storeThey have much of what you would need, similar to the Chain Grocery stores and have a convenient location, if you are staying at the 49er RV Park accross the street.I appreciate them allowing the Fire fighters and support to park their rigs in their parking lot and allowing vendors such as White Hot Tees to sell support merchandise to the fire fighters and public.

A great place to get sandwiches or picnic food, if going to the wineries. Not a lot of food selections by the wineries, so easy to stop and pick up some goodies.

I shop there every once in a while when they have good prices but their prices are ridiculous. Honey bunches of oats for ALMOST $11!!! I laughed and left. Went to Walmart where they told me the employees at pokerville actually shop at Walmart to refill their low stocks in store. I can't believe such ridiculousness. But things and then upsell them because you want to take advantage of a small town. How sad and disgusting

Stopped in to get sandwiches on MLK day 2024 to eat at a winery. The sandwich maker was very nice and we ate a delicious sandwich. Kudos to the sandwich maker.

Update 4/16/2023: Late on a Sunday and the bread isle was decimated. They were pretty busy at the register, but they asked for help as needed and kept the lines moving.They are stepping up their game in the Gluten Free and vegetarian/vegan areas. It is nice to see this addition to the normal selection.

We went there for the sole purpose of buying a pizza. They used to have great pizza. You could order take and bake or hot to go. Other than that, it's been a year since our last visit. Nothing else seems to have changed.

Wow, crazy the best pizza in whole area is here. I usually take it to bake at home, but ready to eat is also Great. Everything I need at the store & getting more organic foods every time I come. Great beer & wine selection. Super nice & helpful people! Love this place!

This place has great deli sandwiches. We stopped here and got sandwiches when we were on our way to the pumpkin patch back in October. The sandwiches are build your own (you fill out a paper with your bread, cheese, meat, etc that you want). Everything is fresh and delicious. A great little place to stop if you are ever on your way through Plymouth.

This little store is my home towns only grocery store , they carry a great variety of our local Amador co. Wines , that are award winners . They have a open meat counter which I love . There’s a lot of parking for Rvs since the 49er trailer & RV park is across the street . Friendly staff . I’d surely recommend this store . Things may cost a little more but better than having to drive far distance.

old fashioned grocery store. great meat counter small store but decent prices. absolutely friendly staff with great senses of humor. little bit of everything. house made sausage is really good. and the bread!!!!I dont even LIKE bread but they bake this Monterey ranch bread that I would trade well maybe not my first born for but something ALMOST equally precious.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE the chicken pizza from the deli. I called ahead and asked for a slice of the chicken pizza. Debra was so awesome and helpful. She even remembered my name and had a slice of pizza set aside, piping hot and ready, for me when I arrived. That’s excellent service!!!! I love pizza and have had every single type and brand of pizza and I honestly have to say that if I was honored a last meal-a slice of this particular chicken pizza from this mom and pop establishment would be on my menu. No joke! It makes me hum aloud with tastebud pleasure! Nom nom nom!

My wife and I love this store. We drive through Plymouth a few times a year to visit the nearby wineries, and always stop at Pokerville to get sandwiches and snacks at their deli. The store itself is a goodsized country grocery store with everything a neighborhood needs, but their deli is just stellar. Great sandwiches, salads, pizza, etc, all at very reasonable prices. They also have a good wine selection, being so close to the wineries in Shenandoah Valley. Always a good stop for us.

This Market is got an awesome Deli and an awesome meat counter! That is so appreciated to have a full-time butcher on staff at this Market something that is turning into a rarity these days. Food is always fresh and wonderful! And the service is always superb!

Over priced but convenient. Cashiers are friendly. Don't try to return anything though, because you won't get anywhere with them, so make sure that your food is not expired and your produce is fresh.

This market is know for it's great local wine section spanning Amador and El Dorado wines at reasonable prices - often better than you would find at the tasting room. Adam the butcher is awesome and has a great quality meat selection. The middle of the store is now specialty foods making this another unique trait of this small town grocer.

this was my first time in this market. I've got like 30 years in the grocery industry. Now, this store as is as clean as any store I've ever been in. Well stocked beautiful meat department with a real-life butcher and front and help you couldn't ask for any better.

Great local market with the best wine selection in the county. They carry everything you might have forgotten, or did not realize you needed. Also have Pizza, fried chicken, and salads at their deli counter.

Couldn't be more overpriced! VERY friendly and VERY helpful staff. However, the owner is NOT good to his forced, yet loyal customers when they need to return or exchange. Only go there if you absolutely arnt able to make the trip somewhere else. With those prices, its straight highway robbery!! I pray we get a Dollar General in this town and fast!! Pokerville will be forced to lower prices to competitiveness and the monopoly will end.

Wasn't happy with the one checker. Negative attitude and very rude! It's not what you say it's how you say it. She needs to learn this. I get not everyday is bubble gum and lollipops. But keep the attitude away from the customer. They're helping keep you employed. You have the right to refuse service. We have the right not to patronize the business.
