I was asked to review a new product the store began selling. Dishtowels with birds. And, since other customers have asked about the product the first thing is I do not recommen purchasing. At $16 retail it is not worth it unless you are going to frame the towel. In which case I recommend NOT washing the product. And, for such a large towel, the design is very small.I scanned the Avery's Home QRcode to learn more about the artist and charities. Actually, the artist is very vague about the charities portion. How much goes towards any of them. And, where are they located. Our area has a host of local artists (see Pleasant Hill Art, Wine and Music festival May 18th) that will be feaured around the corner from this store. I bet I can find a better product there.I need to mention that this cotton towel was first made in India. I wonder if this is why it is so expensive. Really, is there no local towel maker near the artist? You also need to know while it looks handpainted, it is a print, so while it is art, it is not that unique. Consider other birding gifts from the store. I consider this a waste of my money.As to squirrel (and Dove) proofing we use climbing line and string beads which squirrels and other animals cannot cross to get to the handmade platform feeders. The feeders are cleaned weekly with clorox and a power wash, then hung to dry in the sun. Birds the size of a Cowbird and smaller are able to fit through the holes without fear of predation. The CA Scrub-jay has learned to hang on the edge and pickout his favorite seeds or fruit. There are plenty of seeds for ground foraging too.

This store is great! They sell a lot of one of a kind items that help support animals in nature and they offer special lectures and programs from time to time to teach the community how to better help the wildlife around them! Everyone is always extremely nice too! They have a beautiful selection of handmade cards and gifts as well as items for your yard.

The best store for a huge variety of quality bird food and feeders. I really like the stackers. Lots of cute nature-related gifts displayed beautifully. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable.

Visiting this store is almost as fun as feeding the birds themselves. They always have answers for my questions. They carry an almost perfect mix of supplies for my own backyard bird feeding set up. They have loose seed and seed stackers and hummingbird supplies and a nice assortment of bird feeders and accessories. Join their members discount club for extra savings and use their curbside pickup option for quick purchases!

Sad to say I went here to pick up bird food and the store has closed. They are cleaned out- space is completely empty, a lock on the door and area has clearly not been landscaped in a while.Online it says they are moving, however the post is a couple of months old and I haven't seen anything about a new location just yet.

This place has lots of variety of feeders for nature birds. They have the hangers for what you needs, the seeds that attracts the birds. The feeders have different designs that you think it's a good fit for your yard or garden.. impressively how they have those different design. The prices are reasonable

I have never had so many birds in my yard as i have since using the Wild Birds Unlimited no mess blend. I love how helpful and knowledge the staff is every time i visit. I understand it is a little pricy but this is definitely a case of you getting what you pay for.

Excellent gift store for back yard bird/ squirrel watchers! Lots of wind chimes, plaques, bird feeders, hummingbird feeders, best bird seed and lots of other gift items. Every holiday go there for my final gifts!

Great place for accessories for wild birds. Such as feeders, baths, and a wide variety of Wild bird foods. It is also a great store for gift items. Like shirts, decorations, wind chimes. They also carry birding equipment. Such as binoculars, harnesses, and field guides. They do not sell pet birds though.

I love this store. The bird food is high quality and so is the staff. My kids love coming in the store. They love all the birds outside. Mike is so nice and patient and very helpful. I buy all my bird stuff at this store. I have a lot of happy birds. Thanks to all!!

We bought the bird pole with a bath and square flat feeding box. I added the hummingbird feeder and Bark Butter feeder. We were advised to be patient as it takes time for the birds to find the rig and get confident enough to approach it. Next morning, we had full house. Woo Hoo! You spend a bunch and never really know if the birds will like it. They did. Thank You to the staff at Wild Birds Unlimited for making out patio more beautiful in so many ways.

What an amazing little store in Concord. I bought my daughters each a beautiful silk scarf and I bought myself a ball cap with a raven on it. It is worth the trip.

Not only do they have everything bird-related and bird-watching tours that meet there, but there's an aviary inside with exotic birds and some kind of Asian quail. SO CUTE!!! Bring your kids they will melt into complacent little angels watching these adorable feathered things.

Really like this place. Got a bunch of cute little stuff. Sometimes certain things won’t be there the next time you’re there. They also don’t have a lot of variety. Very friendly staff and fun place to go.

Pretty great place if you're looking for just about anything bird-related. We pop in every now and then to pick up cracked corn to feed to the ducks at the park (it's a LOT better for them than bread).
