Moved up here recently and am doing a lot of work on our house. Tried a couple of other place. TruValue has great service but the prices are just too much for common things. Home Depot is great for general house upgrades. The selection is pretty good, you don't get the nice custom stuff. Like I said general house stuff is mostly what fits my needs.

Went in to grab some irrigation stuff for this years veggies. Staff were all as helpful as can be, but you can tell they are understaffed and overworked. Not at all their fault. Only two self checkouts were open/working and one manned register. The parking lot is an exercise in madness as well.

I have mixed feelings about this home Depot because the first time I went there the guy who was helping me didn't help me at all. He would rather play on his phone than help me, he was rather rude too. So because he gave me the wrong propane hose, I had to come back and return it. But the second trip there was awesome, customer service was great and fast.😁

Don’t ever trust Home Depot to install windows. After the installation we had water leaks in the house around the window. They tried to blame it on my roof. I just had $1400 done on the roof and after rain there were NO leaks. We NEVER had leaks until the installers from Home Depot put in new wi does. And the previous owner of the home never had leaks. Avoid this fraudulent company at all cost

I asked an employee if he had tankless water heater for rv shower. Yeah he did say he wasn't sure if was for rv but ITS NOT EVEN FOR SHOWERS. OF COURSE I LOST RECEIPT SO HE MADE ME LOSE OVER $100

My husband loves this Home Depot. The exterior matches the homes in the area with the rock columns. Since this location is out in the country it sells water tanks and animal fencing. The employees were helpful and knowledgeable on item locations. I will visit this location again when I'm in the area. This Home Depot is recommended.

It's easier to appreciate Home Depots in general if you go in without expectations. 😉 The Placerville home depot is better than any other I've been in as far as the staff being friendly and answering questions.Like all Home Depots, you might have a hard time trying to find lumber that isn't warped, but if you spend a few minutes sorting through it, you can generally find something acceptable.

OMG! I have so much to say about done of the workers there. They're bright, smart, sweet and special! Love the way they communicate and show hope good they are doing there job! Great place for any project. I highly recommend Home Depot to everyone!

I went to pick up 4 items. Found 3. The last item, they no longer carried.. a porch light that matched 3 others already installed.The visit was still a success.The store is well stocked, organized, clean.

Self check out is garbage its not self check out if the employer is ringing up all your stuff and takes forever to get out of the store

Trying to find help here is always a task. But for the most part, it works out in the end. Just allow yourself an extra 10 to 20 minutes if you think you might need to load something you can't do by yourself.

I'm not a "pro" member, but I am a regular customer at this location. The employees are generally helpful here. The lumber is not great, but the tool and part selections are good. I've found what I was looking for 90% of the time. The entries and exits at this location are horribly designed. I'm not a fan of the self-checkout area or having to navigate around tons of merchandise displayed either directly in the aisles or out in front of the store, making it annoying to get around. It is beyond frustrating and often unsafe (especially in the parking lot) to navigate a large cart at this location. However, it is a decent supply store; best to go early in the morning and avoid the crowded, unsafe parking lot. No joke, I have actually seen accidents take place in this lot. Had to drop my rating to 2 stars due to the poor layout and clutter that is consistently a problem. It's like the geniuses at corporate got together and said, "Hey, how can we make our customers as frustrated as possible and make them not want to come back here?" I'm only a regular out of necessity; certainly not a loyal customer.

this location is not ideal for frequent customers..the parking lot is always filled..so if you have heavy items for housing..you will be pushing it a long way or waiting in a line at the exit for loading..theres only 1 way in & 1 way out..the back parking spots are filled with septic tanks..other spots are occupied with sheds..& usually sod / grass rolls..the when october arrives the Christmas trees arrive too.. which occupy even more parking lot space..sometimes the delivery trucks enter the wrong 1 way in 1 way out entrance..& it further perpetuates the already difficult navigation & wait in the parking lot..the carts usually occupy pro-spacing..theres bbq’s & lawn mowers that occupy the additional sidewalk..so expect to walk on the asphalt..

Good people working there doesn't seem to be way too busy.likr those ookie cutter experiences in Reno.and.Sactown. Things for me is that BIG business like Home Depot and Uncle Sam's Walton Mart is like anz8t.on the chin of the homecoming.queen on her big day. Here in my top three>(3) towns of NoCal small business and minimal parking and small parking lots as well are a huge part of the charm.

One of the friendliness Home Depots I have been to. They have product in stock and it is not hard to find helpful staff, if they don't approach you first. Night and day difference then some of the HD stores down in Sac or other locations throughout CA.

Very happy with my local Home Depot, and the great people that work there, do alot of business w/ them, but VERY unhappy w/ Home Depot Corp., they just erased my $525 worth of earned Perks Rewards on new years eve, (that were good way into 2023) then didn't even care when I called them... "Too bad for you attitude"... Some gratitude for giving them so much business ! Too bad there is no way to leave this review on their Corp. Google page...

I received a "your appliance has been delivered!" email, but never received my appliance. The prior email I received stated that the day before delivery, I would receive a call and email regarding a 4-hour delivery window. I received neither. Today, I have a few missed calls on my phone, and a voice message stating that they arrived but no one was home. I am very upset about this, as protocol does not seem to have been followed. Why was I not contacted the day before regarding a 4 hour window? Now I am trying to get a rescheduled delivery, and so fed up with this company.Update: Due to Home Depot's mistake, I now have to wait 4 additional days for the redelivery.

Always have what I need but can never get an answer on the phone and have to drive all the way down the mountain from the summit without knowing that they have what I need in stock. Never call.... just go and 99% of the time it's going to be there.

Worst. Customer. Service. Ever. Seems like this store only hires people who hate their job. This is why I use local hardware stores more and more, always friendly people who are excited to help you. This Home Depot is the exact opposite.

Definitely one of the slowest Home Depot’s at get large items, purchased online, loaded into your vehicle. It’s probably faster to drive down to Folsom for a pick up then wait for them to try to find your items.

I like shopping at home depot, but it would be better if they'd carry more product for vineyard & orchard growers.Didn't have all the dripline supplies needed.Nor did I find powder sulfer for the grapevines.Really don't like shopping online.I like to walk into the store, find whst I'm looking for & return home, ready to put it to use.45-75% of the time I can find what I'm looking for. Yet, most of the time I drive out of town/out of county to purchase what I need. Rarely do I order online.

It's not the store, but the delivery service they offer. It is not right to have to spend your whole day waiting for delivery and then they cancel. They need to schedule your delivery, give you a decent estimate of what time and then be there. They are supposed to call you 24 hours before, they did not. We had to call, and was told that they would deliver between 1pm and 5 next day. My husband canceled his plans to be home, took out old dishwasher to be ready, then received text at 1230 stating they rescheduled for next Friday due to the weather this should have been expressed on his phone call last night. Or they should have informed us in the morning since the weather was worse in the morning and they had no intention of delivery today This is not the 1st time. You should not have to spend your whole day waiting on them, we have jobs, a life and thing s to do as well. They are getting paid to deliver my item.
