We visited the store tonight and were looking at jewelry when an older lady working near the jewelry came up to tell us to not make a mess. We weren’t making any messes at all. She then said “you’ll understand when you have a job” in a very condescending tone. We awkwardly laughed and said “yeah.” She then said “you will.” We both have full time jobs and were spending our own money at the store. Then, I grabbed a pair of earrings to put into my cart, when she told me “don’t take anything.” I was confused because I thought maybe she meant I needed to check out jewelry in a specific place, but she was actually accusing me of stealing. From this point on I felt very uncomfortable and unwelcome in the store. I was disappointed because it was my first time in a TjMaxx and it makes me never want to go back. Maybe your employee should be nicer next time and not accuse people of not having jobs and stealing.

Love this store so much. One of my favorite places to shop. However I look for modest clothes that cover my body. And unfortunately TJ Maxx does not have many options in this category. Hence the 4 star review.

I definitely like shopping at TJ Maxx my lady got some good ole to make it there for 799. The manager did come up to me and asked me what I was doing and I said I am doing Google reviews. And I asked her if she wanted me to delete the photos she said no that's ok

I like the store they have a lot of neat products that you can't find in regular stores sometimes. Unfortunately oftentimes the store is kind of a mess because people just drop stuff on the ground and it's hard for the staff to keep up.

Best discount store around. TJ Max beat Ross and Marshall's. Ross is dirty and a mess. Marshall's doesn't have the deals like Ross & TJ Max. The Max has nice dressing room and plenty of them.

An update from my most recent trip. I went in and unfortunately didnt find what I saw at a different TJ Maxx. However I was helped by a very nice lady named Kelly, such a helpful and kind lady. I'm so glad I have this store near me. Previous review but still very true. Always great when I go in. They seem to always have very nice and friendly people and the store is very clean.

I love TJ Max, but my visit to the Placerville store was most disappointing in regards to customer service. I was purchasing a dress and asked for the hanger since I was traveling and had none available to me. I was very surprised when the the cashier said no, but she would ask the manager on duty. She also said no, what??? I always am given the hangers- even if I don’t ask.. i politely declined buying the dress and went on my way. However, it left me with a negative feeling towards this manager and store. Customer Service should be top priority.!

Today i had gone into the TJ Maxx in Placerville, CA. Went in to purchase a top. While waiting in line, noticed that the there was makeup caked on the white blouse. Not sure how I missed it, but I did. I asked for a discount the very sweet cashier agreed that there should be a discount given. She went to speak with the manager on duty who said no discount. Tell her to go wash it….if it doesn't cone out then she can bring it back and we will give a partial credit. What?!?! I buy at full price and then get partial credit because, get this, because it had been washed. As someone who makes a career in customer service Trina Has a lot to learn!! Very disappointing!!

Great store. Always a surprise what is there but a lot of fun things. They have been very good if I needed to return items that did not work and helpful in finding things. Don't know who the reviewer spoke to on the prior post, but workers there have always been polite and helpful.

The middle aged shoulder length blonde worker in jewelry is very rude. Bumped into me twice, 1. Shouldn't employees be demonstrating social distancing since every 6 feet there's a sign about it? 2. She never once apologized. Just said whoops! Once but never made eye contact with me.I doubt I'll be back if thats how I'm going to be treated. I'm not invisible, and shouldn't be treated as if I am, especially by an employee.

Firstly...and foremostly...I will start by saying..."Once Upon A Time"...way back in the (dinosaur days)... I also was employed at TJMaxx. That being said, I am posting this not only as your favorite Google Guide Extraordinare... but also as your "Former Top Notch", TJM Insider" a.k.a (former employee)...Now...all credentials aside...lol...allow me to recommend TJMaxx, at any location, not only because they set a higher standard when it comes to their friendly & knowledgeable service (in all departments) also, the neat & tidy well organized garment racks are not only a plus but rare and hard to find in comparable stores (:won't name names:)...I could go on but why don't you just hurry off to your nearest TJMaxx Store your own dang self & prove me wrong...Maybe...
