I appreciate her dedication to working early hours, ensuring a positive experience for shoppers, like myself. Super friendly, always sweet, and she makes the meat department feel like a happy place. It's December 23rd. Every register is open with only 2 people per lane. The shelves are totally stocked and all shelves are faced. This was such a great experience despite being prepared for the worst. The management did a fantastic job planning ahead.

Placerville Safeway Floral department and girls rock!!!! I was having a mini elopement in Tahoe and my fiancé lives close to this Safeway. We had ordered my bouquet and 4 boutonnières from a local floral shop but happened to walk into Safeway to get some groceries and noticed how gorgeous and affordable the flowers were. After a quick visit with Camille and another sweet blonde lady (sorry I cannot remember your name) we quickly changed gears and ordered the flowers for our wedding from Safeway!!! So glad we did. We saved hundreds of dollars and actually got something we liked considerably better!!!! I literally had my dream bouquet! We were told the flowers would be ready by 10am and when we arrived everything was perfect and waiting!!!! Thank you, Camille and co-worker!!!! You girls really made my day very special!!!

Came at 1:50AM and they were closed even though they are not supposed to close until 2:00AM. They ran over and opened the door and I was able to get the dog food I came for. Thank You Safeway for being the only store around here open late!

Somedays should start with a "Do Over" button. First, I stood in the wrong lane and then left my handbag in the cart. Tina good heartedly, helped me check out. I drove away and my ear buds disconnected. I Went back and my handbag wasn't in the cart. I went back inside and Tina had moved to customer service...no handbags turned. This woman walked all over the store with me to find it. I knew it was in the store because my earbuds kept connecting. Finally, Stacy got involved and asked people to check their carts for my handbag. 5 minutes later, after who knows how long of searching, I had it back! The effort these women put in to helping me was so appreciated and they deserve everyone's respect for being the type of people that go above and beyond.

When shopping at safeway be sure to earn your gas points by entering your phone number. For every $100.00 spent (qualifying items) 10 cents of Gas per gallon. And you can save them up and get $1.00 of per gallon.

This store is always out of products. It was understandable at one point, but I no longer have this issue when shopping at other stores. Also, staff is rude and I'm standing here in a check out line 7 people deep, staff is just standing around while only 1 person is working checkout!

It's a Safeway what do you expect, it has everything that all the other big Safeway stores have at the same price. Last grocery store while heading north o. 50 until South Lake Tahoe. So at exit 60 on 50 and go 0.15 mile North. At the red stop turned left⁰0⁰

Terrible store..I wo t go back..a foreign person with proper I'd x 2 was trying to get a 30$ amazon gift card..they had 5 people try to figure out how old he was..I waited 10 minutes then the store manager came out and asked the moron checker what the problem was ..I left without getting my groceries...I nust became a railYl eighs customer

Always a challenge shopping their phone app. discounts. Big gimmick, because seems register does not always pick up discount. Even when u ask clerk if it did, they say yes it did. To discover after u get home, it did not!

I went there strictly for their fresh flowers which I have always found to be of great variety, reasonably priced and quite fresh. I needed quite a few white ones for my father's end of life celebration. I had alot of options for white and the prices were great. A couple of my choices were on sale even. The area is always nicely stocked and clean. The lady at the flower counter was awesome. She gave me one of their display pots, added water and cut the flowers before packing them to travel well for me. I will always choose Safeway for fresh flowers.

John, evening shift checker, is the nicest young man. Very professional and helpful. He helped me tremendously with the Safeway app to get the maximum use out of it. I've saved so much money, I'm telling my friends thet need to download the app and shop at Safeway if they want to get more bang for their buck :)

Great meats, fruit n veggies, low cost on some alcohol that I enjoy. Crowed most the time and self checkout way busy, cashiers at late hrs are not nice to customers .

Safeway advertises specials on Friday. Eight piece.fried chicken for $5 is very popular,.but when you get there, you find they are sold out and you are required to reserve ahead in the afternoon for dinnertime pickup. That is ridiculous 😒The week before they advertised a pound of chicken tenders for $5. I bought a bag, and they were stone hard and couldn't be eaten. When I informed them tonight of my experience,.they could not have cared less.The Safeway in El Dorado Hills on Green Valley and Franciscan is fantastic!

I love the layout of this particular Safeway. Their prices are very comparable to neighboring stores. The store is usually a bit busy when I stop in but that's around 5pm. So I expect it to be as such. It is always clean and organized. The worker's there are all so polite and will make sure your questions are answered. They also have a Western union, money stop up at customer service in the front where you can get money orders, cash checks, send money and receive money. There deli food is always fresh and cooked just right. It's definitely a weekly stop for my kids and I.

Always super busy, management doesn't seem to value employees which trickles down to some of them having bad attitudes.Floral department has great selection and decent prices, always a good stop for last minute gifts.Has consistent items so shopping cam be planned ahead of time. Just wish the parking was better and it wasn't so crowded and the employees seemed happier.

I remember I was once a kid when I visited this Safeway. My dad David McIntire died and was a popular oral surgeon in Placerville. I will miss these great moments before I moved to Florida. My heart still belongs in this Safeway after all of these years. You will be in my heart forever and always ♥️♥️♥️

Daughter in laws 30th birthday. Found the perfect cake at Safeway bakery. Asked for assistance with the cake but were told they had no boxes for the cake. (It was raining today) so maybe could we do two boxes? One to use to cover the cake? No. Maybe use a plastic bag to cover the cake. No. So you can’t sell the cake because you have nothing to put the cake you made to sell in??? I was furious. This bakery person, I didn’t get her name, was terrible at customer service and offered no solutions.We went to Raleys bakery, found a beautiful cake, had excellent customer service. They had boxes for the cakes they sell and very friendly people in the bakery. Thanks Raleys in Placerville!!

Staff are always helpful and really extend themselves to meet any out of the ordinary needs one might have. I really appreciate the cart sanitations habit they have. Would like to see the $5 Friday sales improve- they're not as worthwhile as they had been- last couple months haven't been such great deals. Staff attitudes are top notch at our store here tho !!! That is so important anymore with all that everyone is having to cope with in our world right now- thanks so much!! Everyone Take good care of each other!

I was given a run around!!!! I was told they didn't have my order. Went to bakery they sent me back to deli. Lady told me they didn't have my order tried to show the lady my confirmation on my phone she got rude said she can't read it and told me that there was nothing she could do they need 24 hour order. I told her I ordered a week ago and she yelled to everyone in the deli if they had a tray and they came out with wrong party tray and said that's all they had it matches the price. This was my first time using them.( I well not go there again!!! )

I placed a delivery and it never showed up. On the app it said I wasn't home for delivery. I was home but no one showed up. I found out they use door dash, the person who worked on 11/2/22 for deliveries between 4 & 8 pm should get another job since they can't show up to a house for delivery
