This is an overdue review from months ago. I've really only dealt with Austin during my visits and wanted make sure this man is recognized. He's a knowledgeable, friendly, and customer oriented manager. Thanks for taking the time to answer questions over the phone and in person, helping find the products I was looking for, and just being a genuine good person.

TL;DR: A great store! Great veg, good beef and other meats and an eclectic choice of everything "from soup to nuts.""Novella review:" 😁 It's been really cool to see how this store has changed and improved over the last 55 years. It used to be 1/2 grocery store and 1/2 appliances, paint, hardware, nursery, etc. They even had a full service cafe with great food. Their customer service has always been fantastic for the most part. Their e-cart service is a life-saver for me as I am disabled and can't shop in the store any more. Online is where it's at. Always excited to see new things happening at this Placerville icon.

Very nice store. Produce department has an excellent variety of items. They stock both Angelo Pietro Salad Dressings and Yamasa soy sauce in the Asian section.

Not the cheapest grocery store. The best produce section in the area. Really nice meat counter also.

My favorite grocery store in Placerville. The staff are so friendly and helpful. I use the online shopping and pick-up once a week. I have done this at a couple other stores and Raleys has been the best. They are always on time and communicate with you.

It's a nice large well stocked example of Raleys. I tend to just pop in for some deli food. They have a Chinese food bar, a fresh sushi display, an actual old school salad bar and of course deli sandwiches and things like potato salad. Great variety all made fresh on premise. Highly recommended.

Austin…one of the store management leads is great…but Raley’s isn’t what it use to be. The ten item or less checkout is rarely open…if you want to but one item, a six pack of beer, you have to wait for one of two checkers each with five full baskets in line. Not a cheap store and the service has gone to hell.

This particular raleys was clean, organized, and it was easy to locate for my client. This one particular lady was very helpful for the two items I needed help locating. I didn't get her name unfortunately, but my cashier ( operator #: 656956), and Takotah (sp) were phenomenal! I appreciate you all tremendously.To the Caucasian male associate with long, curly, blonde hair who looked me directly in my eyes for three aisles as I called out "excuse me sir", you're rude AF and need to work on your customer service! You make the store look bad with that attitude. HE is the reason I took off one star.

This Raley's is awesome! It's huge, has everything you need regarding groceries and most of what you would need for house hold supplies (bathroom items, cleaning items, kitchen gadgets, and more!) I love the look and feel of this store. My daughter and I love to go to this store for our needs. There's never a long line here either. They always have enough cashiers to make check out quick. And if you have less than 20 items you can go through one of the 6 (I think I counted 6) self check stands.Today my daughter and I were in and out in under 10 minutes!

Worst experience ever today. They had there wine sitting above the incorrect label so I brought the wine thinking it was half the price. Got back in the car and saw I was charged twice as much. Went to return / exchange. Before rolling there eyes and giving me attitude it Took them 20 minutes to price check and customers in line starting yelling insults at me because it was taking so long. Instead of opening up another lane they just let this man insult me. Worst customer service.

Line took 20 minutes with 2 customers in front (1 checking out as I joined the line) of me in the "express" lane. Cashier was so friendly and she definitely deserves a place in the normal checkout lines where people have carts full of groceries rather than 2 or even 10 items. She seemed to be out of sorts in the express lane like she knew she was supposed to be quick but also wanted to be so polite and chatty. Her boss needs to recognize her strengths and get her in the regular checkout or whatever customer service/returns etc is called in that store. She'd shine and seriously make a return pleasant but when in a hurry to buy a few things, the boss got it wrong that time.

I haven't been here in years! I don't know when they did it, but the remodel is beautiful!We came in late for snacks, to stay awake for the rest of the drive. I had no knowledge of the remodel they did. As soon as we walked in, I just said, "Wow! This is nothing like I remember!"They did a great job!It was late when we came in, despite that, the cashiers were still very friendly!To be honest, the only reason we decided to stop by, was because In-N-Out had 22 cars in line....However, it turned out to be a great experience!Glad we stopped!Thanks guys keep up the good work!

Wow! The remodel they did on this store is amazing! This is an incredible store! Its well laid out and organized, looks very up scale, things are displayed in a very visually appealing way. Not only that, but the products look like quality. The deli/bakery looks and smells wonderful. They have lots of ready to eat food there that are made in store. They all looked delicious. I almost skipped my groceries for dinner and just got some food that they had prepared there. I was so impressed upon visiting this store the other day that I had to pick my jaw up off the floor. 5 stars without a doubt. 👍👍Cant wait to make This my new regular grocery stop.

It's clean, staff is helpful they have a good selection of prepared cold foods, for those with ebt. My only complaint is they need to post a sign proclaiming that alcohol can not be purchased at the self check out.

I love the way this Raleys is layed out! Wow such a huge selection of products for the outside size of the store. They have a huge spacious lot to park, they're not crazy busy also so you can get a very nice spot and not have crowd of people waiting to pay. I have a few things I love here at this location, the staff are all super nice caring and friendly offer you help, good deals. Their food like fruits and veggies are always so fresh, of course they have sandwich station where they will make a sandwich for you.

A big and good grocery store with a lot of stock. There is a lot of fresh produce and other fresh products as well.The self checkout is good but it needs a more simple approach because some products can only be put in by code and nowhere is explained where to find the code.
