I love this place. Jeremy and Alicia have always taken great care of my 3 babies, ever since I started flying to the east coast, regularly, for work. They always send me picture updates and let me know how they are doing. My dogs are always tired out after i pick them up, and they are always happy when i bring them back. So i know they are doing something right. And their prices are very reasonable, better than other kennels. Thanks guys for everything that you do. 👍⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great home for your puppies when you're away on vacation! I love Placerville Dog House. We use them often. They're a little off the beaten path, but well worth the drive. They are always professional and easy to work with. And their pricing is much more competitive than anywhere else in the area. Happy Customer. Highly recommend!

We have boarded our dogs and our cat many times with Alicia and have nothing but good things to say about them. They are very conscientious of our pets needs or special needs if required. We get pictures of our pets while in their care to be assured they are doing well.

They have a beautiful spot in the mountain. Not commercial at all. Just a home converted to a dog care facility. The play area is contained well and has tunnels and igloos buried around for the dogs. Jeremy and Alicia are really nice. Highly recommended!

Amazing! We took our 6 month old German Shepherd Maui here today for doggy daycare (aka "playcare" as Alicia perfectly describes it) so he could socialize with other pups and burn some energy. Judging by how he is zonked right now and the look on his face when we picked him up, he had the best time.We were immediately greeted upon arrival and Alicia and Jeremy gave us a quick tour of the place. The backyard play area is incredible and has multiple obstacles, tunnels and room for pups to explore. You can tell a lot of thought and work was put into the space.Alicia and Jeremy were extremely kind and knowledgeable, and we felt 100% safe leaving our boy there for the day. They brought out a few different pups to introduce to Maui to see how he would do, and all went great.It ended up raining while he was there, and of course he got muddy playing with all of his new friends. These guys are so awesome that they gave him a nice rinse and dry down before we left so he'd be good to go for the car ride home.All in all this was an amazing experience and we will be back for any and all of our boarding/play date needs!PS: Alicia also takes great photos!

We are so glad we found Alicia's Leash Animal Services. Not only are they conveniently located to suit our needs but the care they provided our dog was top notch and much better than a typical kennel situation. We will definitely be using them for our future boarding needs. Angie gives them a 5 star rating!

We needed to board our 7 month old puppy to attend my father's memorial service. This was our first time ever leaving our dog with someone else. I spoke with Alicia over the phone. Everything sounded great! She told me they provided crates and bedding, when asked if I needed to bring his. When we dropped him off there was a man there, I'm assuming Jeremy. No introduction, no questions... The area where they board is half open to the elements and it was wet and cold. There was no bedding in any of the crates. It felt off. Not like what Alicia had conveyed over the phone. I wasn't sure if I was being paranoid and I needed to get to my memorial service. I had to ask for an update and I got a brief one and some photos the next day. When my husband went to pick up our puppy, he was crated with a SHOCK COLLAR on!!! I was never informed that they would do that. The man didn't give my husband any feedback. Why was this necessary! Why was a text or call not sent if there was any behavior that called for this treatment! I feel sick that I did this to our puppy. On top of the grief from our trip, I now feel like I sent my baby somewhere to be abused when I was told that the dogs in there care would receive the same love and attention they receive ar home. I'm livid!!!*In response to your response below*You've already admitted it was a "training" collar aka shock collar with vibration, tone and shocking capabilities. Which I never authorized you to use on my puppy! I did not send him to you for training. It was absolutely NOT a "tracker". Now you're just lying to save face. Our puppy was hesitant to be placed in his crate after his stay with you! Probably because he was cold, scared and shocked for barking. Unacceptable!YOUR MESSAGE TO ME VIA ROVER INBOX- I can explain that he was created at the time of pickup because there were a lot of dogs in the room, that I felt were not meshing well with Aurum. I couldn't allow aurum to be in that group because his intensity was bringing out obvious signs of aggression in some of the other dogs. For his own safety we were keeping him separated from a few of the others. Keeping them separated doesn't mean leaving them in a crate by any means. We typically crate dogs at time of pickup, or if we are moving other groups through that area. Aurum was not left in a kennel during his stay, and there was a few dogs here that he did mesh well with, so we kept them in the same groups.The last night aurum was here he did have a little bit of issue with excessive barking so we use the training collar, audible tones and vibration functions to help curb the behavior. It wasn't a major problem that I felt warranted him to be picked up, just something we have to deal with on a regular basis. I can assure you aurum was well cared for, he had a good time here, and I believe he would be excited to come back. I apologize if it looked like anything different than that, when he was picked up. We don't condone or support hurting animals in any way whatsoever.

I don’t have dogs but if I did, this is where I’d leave them if I had other non-dog related stuff to do. I cannot think of a more enriching experience for a dog than to come here to meet new dog-friends to go on dog-adventures in the spacious dog yard.

Great place! We just moved to the area and needed a place to board our dog overnight. Alicia's Leash was wonderful and took our dog last minute.I was a little nervous dropping our dog off because she is quite shy but she did great and I knew she was in good hands. They took excellent care of her and she seemed to have a lot of fun. They have a big shaded area for the dogs to play in complete with tires, grass, tunnels, etc. and all the dogs sleep indoors at night.We will definitely be back!

It was my first time taking my dog boarding and we went to Alicia’s Leash. Alicia is super nice and great with animals! She made me feel so comfortable to keep my dog there overnight and she also sends you pictures and videos of your dogs playing with the other dogs! I would 100% recommend Alicia’s leash to anyone that wants to be able to relax on a vacation or business trip and know that your dog is in great hands! Also when I picked up my dog she even made a magnet with our dogs picture! I can’t wait to take my dog back for day care so she can play with all her friends!

10/10 for prompt response and caring for my dog! Always a little hesitant to try new boarding places but if you are in need of dog boarding, this is the place to go!!! Alicia is very quick to respond & will take great care of your fur babies! Her & her business partner will assure great care for your animal and will accommodate for your pets needs. They have flexible pick up/ drop off hours which make it very stress free to plan your day out. I’ll be back if I ever need pet Servies in Placerville!!! KC left very happy & tired.

Our dog loves spending time at Alicia’s leash. They truly care and love animals so much. Plus, it’s great for your animal to socialize with other animals and lots of exercise. Also, we love the occasional photos of our dog playing with other dogs. It’s a nice personal touch.

Great place to board your dogs!! You walk in, it's so bright, clean, and beautiful. It even smells great. And then ​ walk outside to the play yard, and WOW. it's like dog paradise. It's obvious that Jeremy and Alicia put so much thought into their business and they are so passionate about animals. My dog's stay was incredible and almost like I was with my dog the whole time even though I was ,2k miles away thanks to all the photos and updates. I will be a forever customer. We trusted Alisha and her partner with our three dogs while we were getting married in the Apple hill area. I’ve never picked up my dogs after boarding them and seen them so relaxed and happy!! One of my dogs is very sensitive and anxious and within minutes of dropping them off he was already comfortable and asking them for pets! I’ve never seen him adjust so well so quickly. Very grateful and wish we we lived closer so we could use them every time we travel! If we’re ever back in Camino we will definitely board our dogs here again! Thank you both so much!

These guys were incredibly curtious when I boarded my dog Scooter over at their house. They greeted my dog and I with kindness and made it feel like home for Scooter when I was off on vacation for a couple weeks; also they were priced better than any other boarding place in the area. I leave my cat Sir Patrick Stewart with Alicia when I leave to the bay area for work. She is conveniently located on the way I take getting to work (from Pleasant Valley to highway 50). I live alone and I'm usually gone 3 days out of the week out of town so its nice to have such a friendly enviroment for my cat to stay at while I'm gone out of town! Thank you!

My Dog Gixxer is quite the handful, he’s a beagle pit bull mix and there notorious for being especially difficult to potty train... along with her help over the past 2 weeks he has only had 1 accident... he’s always happy to see her and comes back smelling and looking better then me every time lol. Would recommend to anyone!
