lovely little coffee spot, fresh muffins in the AM were still warm and not too sweet. the coffee was a bit on the darker side and tasted a bit overextracted. they had a lot of cool beans, but didn’t do pour overs which is disappointing

This is an awesome quaint little place with a neat little outdoor courtyard. I've always loved their locations in Sacramento and this one is just as good. They really do espresso drinks right. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. Love how they have it decorated and love how casual it is inside. This is a real gem of a place and probably my favorite coffee spot right now.

Wow. This place has really GOOD energy. High vibes at this location for sure. Katie our barrista & cashier was lovely. Coffee & matcha so good😊 Had to buy this beautiful move mug with splash guard (see pics). Also, one free drink included with the purchase of the tumbler. Can’t wait to come back ❤️

If you love good espresso from places like Blue Bottle, Verve, or Ritual, then this is the place to hit up in Placerville. The people at Pachamama Coffee genuinely care about high quality roasts and know how to properly pull a shot. They know about the optimal temperature for pulling shots, and know not to burn the milk.

This is one of the best Pachamama coffee places I have been to.The space inside is amazing! Then there is a small courtyard with tables right outside, and since the whole place is away from the hustle and bustle of the busy street it is relaxing! All this on top of awesome coffee and amazing service!-----Editing this as I've had the chance to use the coffee beans.Opened the $27 bean bad to find out that the roasting is not consistent at all. Should be light roast but most were anything but light.

As soon as I entered this place, I thought, "If the coffee tastes as sign out that carry specialty coffee it will be my hideout."Very nice and knit interior and coffee what I had Americano black was excellent.Oat milk latte ,,, I had to left quick because of pets ,, outside table was cozy and surrounding by brick building was special ,,Lamarzocco machine + Malconig grinder

Amazing cute little coffee shop!! I loved the ambience and the courtyard they had! It was like a secret little medieval town theme and the greenery with red cobbled brick walls and the rustic signs was magnificent. The muffin is the try for! And the Chai Tea Latte was pretty good!

What a gem in Placerville. My wife found this place and we decided to take a stop on our way to Tahoe, ordered cappuccino. The coffee tasted really good and was extremely rich. They have both indoor and outdoor seating available. Also, they provide chocolate and vanilla sugar cubes which I haven’t tried anywhere else, chocolate sugar cube goes well with the coffee. I recommend this place if you are looking for a good quality coffee, a must visit place in Placerville.

I have been here twice and have had a great experience both times. The baristas are very friendly and helpful. Their iced lavender roobios tea is amazing, but it's their coconut chia seed pudding that is a must try. They top it off with granola, fresh fruit and a little drizzle of honey. So yummy! The location is tucked away from Main Street, so it's quiet. Sometimes they have a local band that plays in the courtyard. Highly recommend going here for a coffee break!

Totem Coffee is a hidden paradise in historic downtown Placerville. With delicious vegan and gluten free options, and Kombucha on tap, you will want to bring a book and stay a while! I devoured their vegan GF chocolate chip peppermint donut along with a vanilla oat milk latte. Then I tried a refreshing cup of their vanilla pine kombucha (thank you for the awesome paper straw!). I forgot to take a pic of their yummy eats, but I recall they had a vegan falafel dish and a black bean patty with avocado yogurt. I will definitely come back to try those!

Best coffee in placerville!!! Small batch roasted in house! I honestly can't get enough. If you get a chance try the elixir or the press coffee my personal favorites. Their food is delicious and they have tons of vegetarian/gluten free dishes as well!

I love coming here. I know they treat everyone in the supply chain well, the coffee is great, they have all the alternative milks one could want, and delicious homemade pastries. Lots of space to lounge, work and enjoy. The little courtyard outside seemed pleasant! I wish we could’ve stayed longer.

Coffee and food are delicious, though the baristas need to be a bit more friendly and conversational. They appear annoyed with customers and don't seem to enjoy their job. While we still come in for coffee, it's nice to feel welcomed and appreciated to support their business (because there are other coffee options in town)Vegetarian options: VEGAN cream cheese available! Love!Dietary restrictions: Vegetarian/vegan options

The sign on the street says "Totem Coffee", don't be fooled they just changed the name and MGMT. This place is a gem. I walked in and the muffins were just coming out of the oven. Damn fine coffee. Staff rocks.

Cute little place with a lush courtyard just outside. The food is good and they have a few vegan options. My favorite place to go in placerville. They even have vegan doughnuts which were amazing. The fancy sugar cubes are as tasty as they were cute. The lavender ones went perfectly in my tea.

First time in Placerville and this is where we got breakfast to fuel us for our 1st day at Dry Diggings! Amazing breaky, tasty teas and a peaceful ambiance! Thanks, Totem! Hope to drop by again.

I don't know why this place didn't show up when I searched for "coffee" in Placerville, but I think it is the best place in town. The service is excellent and my IRL latte was perfection. I also loved the vibe of the space. My only caveat is that I bought 3 different bags of beans and the first one I tried at home was pretty disappointing. So they do a great job pulling and making a well-crafted brew here - but using their beans at home might take special training :).

I love this cute place! Laura, Katie, and Paige always go above and beyond with providing tasty and innovative recommendations, making it a point to know their customers, and making beautiful and delicious coffee. They are very knowledgeable about the coffee and the area, and do what they can to make travelers feel welcomed. Thank you for everything! Y’all are fabulous!

Just moved up here from Oakland, and it’s nice to have a chill cool coffee shop to come to. I love the little alleyway it’s located in, and the food, coffee and service are great.

Ordered a small hot chocolate. It took 15+ minutes for them to make it. About 6 people who arrived after me got their drinks before I did. I saw them making it and it took them 1 minute! When I tried the hot chocolate, it tasted like stale cardboard with a hint of cinnamon and scarcely any chocolate. Really bad. Do not order, do not go here. Only 2 stars because setting/atmosphere was nice.
